Hi there! I bought lots of Yves Rocher products recently – including a few limited editions.
Today I’ll tell you what I think about Yves Rocher’s Apple Star Anise Refreshing Shower Gel.
I thought this was a Christmas-themed product – but I was wrong.
Apparently Yves Rocher’s apple & star anise collection was a limited edition from last summer! But let’s move on to the actual product review. 🙂
The shower gel smells pleasant and refreshing. The apple frragrance isn’t too tangy (which is a good thing in my book), it’s more like a sunny apple scent.
The shower gel lathers up nicely without being too harsh on my skin. Great quality.
The refreshing shower gel is (was?) available as 50ml (£1.95) and 400ml (£5.50). I found this product for 90p in the clearance sale.

I’m glad this smells mostly like apples and not star anise! 😛 I’ve used a few YR shower gels and they’re ok, nothing special. If there’s a scent I love and it’s on sale, I’d pick it up.

In the UK there aren’t any brick and mortar Yves Rocher stores. The only option is buying online. So you don’t really know what you get.
I haven’t bought any Yves Rocher products in a while – until recently (big clearance sale). And now I’m finally starting to try and use these products.
So far I found the skin care products disappointing. But some of the body care products are fairly nice.

Oh that’s too bad you don’t have b&m stores. I like going in and perusing. I’ve not tried a lot of their skincare but I do LOVE their 3-teas micellar water – it’s my HG. I’m also currently using their eye cream and it’s decent – I received it for free and I would probably pay money for it. The YR store near me also offers spa services which I’ve yet to try, but I’m tempted to one of these days.
