Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel Cream With L-Bifidus & Peach

uploadHi there! I haven’t reviewed any body butters or lotions in a while – that’s because I’m currently trying to use up all those part-used products that have piled up.

But since I was so impressed by Garnier’s Aloe Vera Body Lotion, I was happy to pick up Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel Cream with L-Bifidus + Peach for dry and sensitive skin at my local Home Bargains store. 🙂

When I used this gel cream for the first time, I found it incredibly sticky – for about a minute. But once my skin had absorbed the moisturiser, it just felt great.

So whilst my skin felt smooth and supple, it didn’t feel like it was slathered in moisturiser just minutes ago. Brilliant!

I also think the soft peach fragrance is quite pleasant. It’s nothing special, but I think it’s the perfect fragrance to go with the gel cream theme.

It’s obvious that I’m happy with the product. So yes, I would definitely recommend it. 🙂 I will continue to use this moisturiser over the coming weeks and months, and I might even pick up another bottle. If you’re interested, you might want to swing by your local bargain store to check if they have it. Oh, and this product is a real bargain. I paid £1.49 for a 250ml bottle – amazing value!

  1. I picked up one of these on clearance for $2 or so… is was their regular scent. Have yet to try it but I’ve heard good things. I wish I had the peach one – I like peach scents but more importantly, the SO loves peach scents! 😉

      • I know!! Isn’t that just crazy? I went to a health food store last week looking for unscented shampoo. Out of an entire 4 shelf product rack, they have 2 brands. Which is great, because I can’t find any anywhere. But, 2????? Scent is in!! 🙂

      • I’m obsessed with fragrances – but I know how tough it is for people who can’t use scented products. I’d probably despair trying to find any fragrance-free product at all. It really is a shame that the manufacturers can’t be bothered to have at least one fragrance-free product per product line. I’m sure it would be easy to do – and I’m sure the products would fly off the shelves because people could buy affordable products that are readily available. Maybe one day…

      • Oooo! Wouldn’t that be something if they had a fragrance free PER line??? I’d love that! And, affordable? Well, that’d be something! My new shampoo and conditioner were nearly $12 a piece, which is quite a bit to spend on a product that MAY work… 🙂
