Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Vitamin C Boost Mango & Papaya Body Scrub (with natural apricot kernel granules) which I picked up for half price (£2.45) not too long ago. This scrub is a limited edition product – needless to say I felt that I had to have it right away. 😉 So how’s the scrub? Is it any good? Read on, and I’ll let you know.
When I first opened the tub, I wasn’t blown away by the fragrance of this product. I thought it didn’t smell very natural. However, once I started to use the scrub, I changed my mind. That’s because once the scrub hit my skin, it smelled fruity, juicy and summery – and I realised the mango and papaya fragrance is actually quite authentic.
The scrub is also very effective. It removes dead skin cells and reveals soft and smooth skin almost instantly. This is what every body scrub should be like! So yes, I do like this body scrub, and I would recommend it. So if you’re looking for a body scrub that smells of juicy fruits and summer, look no further!
Superdrug’s Vitamin C Boost Mango & Papaya Body Scrub is available as 200ml for £4.99. But don’t miss out on deals – Superdrug does half price and BOGOF deals very often.
I always wonder why some scrubs cost an arm and a leg when there are nice, inexpensive options! Mango & Papaya sounds delish.

I too wonder why some scrubs are so expensive. Yves Rocher used to sell their scrubs for about £28. Well, they offered them for this price – not sure if they actually sold any! But yeah, how do some brands justify these obscene prices? I’ll stick to cheap products that work.

Is there any enzyme action with the papaya? Why’s everything so inexpensive there. I remember UK being so pricey.

I don’t know about any enzyme reaction, sorry!
I think many things are super cheap on our side of the pond. Apparently restaurants are much cheaper than elsewhere on the continent (although I don’t know that because of my celiac disease I don’t eat out – trust issues), and I think fashion and beauty products are a bit cheaper than elsewhere in Europe. I think the only thing that’s really expensive is property, no matter if you rent or buy – but then, that’s a London and Southeast thing only…
Anyway, if you visit the UK again, let me know and I’ll give you a list of shops where you can find amazing bargains. No, not cheap crap, but real bargains. xx
