Hi there! Today’s post is about a fragrance that’s been sitting in my stash for quite some time – it’s Madly Kenzo Eau De Toilette by Kenzo.
I bought this fragrance just after it was launched which, I think, was some time in 2011. Back then I used this fragrance for a few days (a few weeks tops) before I moved on to something else (and forgot about it).
If you’re wondering how I could possibly remember that… I don’t! But I’ve known myself for a long time and I know my product habits. 😀
Now onto the fragrance! Madly Kenzo EdT contains the following fragrant notes: pear and litchi (top notes), jasmine and heliotrope (heart notes), and musk and cedarwood (base notes).
Whilst these notes don’t sound too exciting, I think Madly Kenzo is actually quite nice. It’s sweet but fresh, fruity and floral, youthful and happy (!), and it has this nude thing going on (like J Lo Glow or Narciso Rodriguez EdT, even though Madly Kenzo EdT is much lighter and considerably less dense).
I have to say that I’m enjoying this fragrance very much. I’ve rediscovered it a few weeks ago and since then I’ve been wearing it at least 2 to 3 times a week. At the moment, Madly Kenzo EdT is one of my favourite day and office fragrances.
I have a 30ml bottle (I think I’ve got about 20ml left in the bottle), but Madly Kenzo EdT is also available as 50ml and 80ml. How much is it? I’ve done a quick online search and I found the small 30ml bottle ‘on sale’ (yeah, right) for over £40. But I also found the big 80ml bottle for just under £26. So if you’d like to buy this fragrance, don’t forget to compare prices online first. 🙂
Hehe, your product habits sounds just like mine!
1) super excited, new launch! BUY
2) wear it all the time
3) wear it less
4) put on the back shelf to make room for new stuff
5) completely forget about it
6) makeup clean out – rediscover old favourite which becomes a new favourite
Rinse, repeat! 😛
The scents of this sounds delicious, especially the top notes!

Yay, I have a product habits buddy! 😀
Yes. this fragrance is surprisingly good. It’s not the most sophisticated fragrance, but I think it’s extremely nice!

I like fruity and floral fragrances. Not so sure about sweet though. Lol. The bottle looks gorgeous.
