100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser

Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser. I’ve been using this product on and off since January, so it’s time for a review! 🙂 Let’s start with the basics! This cleanser claims to help revive skin’s radiance and to even out skin tone. And in addition it promises to make skin look and feel renewed, soft and ultra-clean.

And how does it work? You’re supposed to massage the cleanser into wet skin (face and neck) to dissolve make-up. Then rinse the muslin cloth in hand-hot water, wring it out, and use it to “polish off” the cleanser. And then just rinse (or splash) your face with water, and pat it dry with a towel. Now that sounds easy enough!

Like I said, I’ve been using this cleanser on and off since January. That’s because I always go back to my Olay Anti-Wrinkle cleansing products which I like bit more. However, this Superdrug cleanser is still very good because it’s quick and easy to use and it cleanses very well. And yes, it makes my skin feel clean and soft! I haven’t noticed any additional skin brightening effect that I could trace back to this cleanser, but since I only use it 1 to 3 times a week, I’m not expecting any miracles.

I would recommend this hot cloth cleanser + muslin cloth duo to everyone who wants to cleanse their face quickly and easily – and with water. I will definitely continue to use this cleanser, and I will stock up on muslin cloths because they seem to be great beauty tools!

Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser is available as 150ml (+ muslin cloth) for £5.99. I paid £2.95 (half price offer).

  1. I find some hot cloth cleansers to leave a residue on my skin, and really not that much better at removing makeup than regular cleansers. And the cloth gets so grimy. Do you launder the cloth after each use?

    • This cleanser doesn’t leave any residue. I wash the cloth with shampoo – and it’s perfectly clean and white after. It still looks brand new.

Oh, the shampoo I used is the cheap shampoo I have by the sink. I use it to hand-wash my scarves – and the muslin cloth.
