Hi there! Today I’m reviewing Superdrug’s Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask.
This mask is aimed at people with sensitive skin, and it promises a deep cleanse.
Well, I agree that this mask makes my skin feel and look cleansed. However, the mask isn’t cooling.
When I applied the mask, it actually felt quite warm for a minute (and it was considerably warmer than a self-heating mask).
The warm sensation went away, and my face was 100% fine afterwards. However, I can see how this might scare people – especially those who have suffered skin reactions in the past.
What else… I think this mas smells fairly nice. It’s the same cucumber fragrance that almost every other cucumber skin care product has. And I happen to like that cucumber fragrance!
Superdrug’s Cucumber Cooling Clay Mask is 100% vegan and cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). It’s 99p at Superdrug, In addition, Superdrug often runs 3 for 2 promotions on face masks!
By the way, this week’s going to be face mask week. I’ve tried quite a few new face masks, and I’ve already written the reviews. And I want to post those reviews! In theory, I could save these reviews for later, but I don’t really want to sit on completed posts, so… I hope you enjoy face mask week! 😀

Yay you’re doing a face mask week☺ How strange it heats up, I always see cucumber as cooling. I need a deep cleansing mask so this sounds great x

Face mask week…. woohoooooo! 😀
Yeah, it’s weird this one is heating up. I think my skin may be sensitive to one of the ingredients. I’ve just checked the review and there are quite a few people who said this mask made their faces sting and / or burn. Oh!

That’s so odd it’s warming rather than cooling! Hmm I guess they think once it warms up, it cools down?
Yay face mask week!

Face mask week is going to be awesome – and it means that I have no posts to write at all this week! 😀
I just checked the reviews for this mask on Superdrug’s web site. Apparently this mask gave quite a few people an unpleasant skin reaction (stinging, burning, red faces). Oh!
