Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 120 Red Carpet, Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust & Water Decals / 31 Day Nail Art Challenge #1 Red Nails

Hi there! Happy Monday! This week’s going to be NAIL WEEK, so I’ll be posting about manis only.

I’ve also decided to redo the 31 Day Nail Art Challenge. I’ve done it before (I’ve completed it in summer 2017), and I want to do it again – but on my own terms. I won’t be doing 31 manis in 31 Days, but over the next couple of months.

I might also skip a few individual challenges and replace them with something else, but I’ll try not to pick and choose too much. 🙂

Alright! For this mani, which is challenge #1 RED NAILS, I painted my nails (pinkies, ring fingers) with Revlon Colorstay 120 Red Carpet (2 coats).

I used water decals on my thumbs, index and middle fingers. I tore one of the decals, and another one ended up looking very wrinkly. So I decided to cover up the mistakes with glitter. I chose Rimmel 60 Seconds 831 Magic Stardust.

I liked this mani, and I am looking forward to using decals more often. Just a few weeks ago I bought around 130 sheets of nail decals, so I better use them! 🙂

And just in case, these are the individual nail art challenges:

1 Red Nails

  1. Oh yay I loved this challenge back when you did it 😁 and it’s funny how you said the decal was wrinkly so you covered up the mistake with glitter. I would have never known. I especially love this mani because the water decals look like watercolor and I like watercolor lol

    • I love those decals too!
I make mistakes with my nails all the time. Dents, bubbles, fingerprints…you name it! Stamping covers up quite a bit, and so does a clear top coat. However, there’s nothing like a glitter top coat if you need to cover up mistakes. 👍
