Hi there! I’ve got a short Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂
For this simple mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 900 Wonder Purple (2 coats).
I love this polish, but I think this is (well, was) the last decent mani I managed to do with it. The bottle is about 85% empty, and the polish has thickened quite a bit. I hope I can use the leftover polish to make decals.
For the images I used my relatively new Finger Angel A024 stamping plate. The black polish I stamped with is the wonderful Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

Just curious about stamping plates…. do they only work with certain polishes or is it a anything works situation?

Most polishes work. Nothing glittery or textured though. The polishes you use for stamping just need to be well pigmented. If they’re one-coaterss = great! If you normally need 3 or more coats of a certain polish to paint your nails = don’t bother with these colours.
You can buy stamping polish, but you don’t have to. Although, if you want a good white shade to stamp with, you would have to buy a stamping polish. But black and other dark colours? Nope! My advice would be to try the polishes you already have – just stamp on white paper to see if they’d be any good. 😉

Again, it’s very wordy, but you will figure out stamping in… I don’t know… an hour, and the tutorial covers everything else so you can avoid making certain mistakes in the first place. Happy stamping!
