Boots did a fantastic job with their Dipeptide sheet mask. It’s wow!

Superdrug’s vegan and cruelty-free vitamin C cleansing pads are outstanding. They’re cleansing, brightening and safe for use around the eyes! Well done, Superdrug!

Onto the honourable mentions! I love Imperial Leather’s Spa shower creams. Nivea’s Fresh Skin face mask was lovely, and Primark’s Hydrate sheet mask was a very nice surprise!

Yves Rocher Jardin Des Nymphes Eau De Toilette

Hi there! Today’s short post is about one of the fragrances I’m using at the moment – Yves Rocher Jardin Des Nymphes Eau De Toilette. This is a limited edition fragrance which is based on floral and aquatic notes.

This fragrance was a blind-buy, so I didn’t know what to expect. And since I’m not a big fan of fragrances with water lily or lotus, I was wondering whether I should have given this fragrance a pass…

Well, it turns out that this fragrance is actually quite alright. Whilst Jardin des Nymphes has a strong water lily feel to it, I do like it because, fortunately, it doesn’t have that smothering density that the overwhelming majority of aquatic fragrances have. Jardin des Nymphes feels light and airy, and I enjoy wearing it to the office.

Yves Rocher Jardin Des Nymphes Eau De Toilette is available as 75ml. It’s a limited edition from a while back, but it can still be found online.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat

Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Oats Body LotionHi there! Today’s post is about Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat.

This body lotion is aimed at people with dry and sensitive skin. According to Garnier, oat milk is known for its restoring properties, and the white almond milk in this product will leave skin feeling soft and comfortable.

I’ve only been using this body lotion for a few days now, but I think it’s great. I’m not a big fan of Garnier because quite a few of their products have left me underwhelmed, but this body lotion is one of their best products.

I agree that this body lotion feels lovely and that it makes my skin feel soft and comfy. I also enjoy the cute oat / almond / vanilla fragrance.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this body lotion! I’m definitely going to stock up soon!

Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat is available as 400ml for £5.99. I paid £2.95 (better than half price offer).

Nail Of The Day – Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours 345 & Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 40 Midnight Glitz

Hi there! Happy Monday! I hope you had a great start into the new week. 😊 I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today…

For this mani I painted my nails with Miss Sporty Clubbing Colours 345 (2 coats). This is a quick dry polish that actually does dry in no time. Awesome stuff!

The glitter top coat I used is Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure 40 Midnight Glitz. This top coat contains medium sized black hex glitter as well as gold holographic glitter in different shapes and sizes.

I liked this mani, and I will redo it once my nails have grown a bit longer again.

Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask. This mask contains lotus root extract, cogon grass root extract as well as sodium hyaluronate, and it promises to help revitalise and to hydrate the skin.

This sheet mask is easy to use – cleanse your face, enjoy the mask for 20 minutes, then treat your skin to a massage using the leftover essence from the sachet.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s very good! It feels refreshing and hydrating, it seems to have a very gentle and very pleasant cooling effect, and it’s not sticky! I think this is a great product! And whilst the actual sheet mask is not great (it goes out of shape the moment you touch it), I’m happy to give it a pass because it’s bio-degradeable. I hope other mask manufacturers follow suit. All sheet masks should be bio-degradeable!

Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Hydrate Priming Sheet Mask is available as a 25ml single use face mask. It’s 80p at Primark. This mask is also 100% cruelty-free (like all of Primark’s beauty products). It carries the Leaping Bunny logo (=certified cruelty-free).

Skin Treats Clay Nourishing Face Mask With Shea Butter

Hi there! I’ve got another face mask review for you today – but it’s Face Mask week, so this is hardly a surprise…

Alrighty – I found this Skin Treats Clay Nourishing Face Mask With Shea Butter at my local Home Bargains store. I believe it was 89p.

When I saw the mask I reached out and put it in my shopping basket immediately, because I read Olay instead of Clay. 🤣

So… this mask promises to purify, to revitalise and to nourish skin. You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, and to leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Then simply rinse it off = job done.

Since the sachet contained enough product for 3 uses, I’ve given this mask 3 tries. And all I can say is that I think it’s pretty useless. The mask just didn’t do anything for my skin at all.

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend the mask. However, if you’d like to give it a try, you can find it at Home Bargain (and other discount stores, I assume). If you’d like to try other masks from this brand, I recommend their Pineapple sheet mask and their original Unicorn sheet mask which is exclusive to B&M Bargains.

Nivea Good Morning Fresh Skin Refreshing Face Mask

Hi there! Happy Friday! Today’s post is about a face mask duo I picked up at my local Poundland store – Nivea Good Morning Fresh Skin Refreshing Mask.

I paid £1 for 2 x 7.5ml of product. Bargain!

Alrighty… this face mask contains aloe vera and vitamin E, and it’s aimed at people with normal skin.

You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, leave it on for 10-15 minutes, then take off the excess with a cosmetic tissue.

I’m using this product as a night cream. Since this is a leave-on mask, I find it wasteful to wipe off any “excess” – so I’m using a reasonable amount of product to moisturise my face before I go to bed. This means no waste of product.

I’m enjoying this mask quite a bit. It’s deeply hydrating, and it does feel refeshing. I wouldn’t use it in the morning, but it helps me wake up to beautiful skin, so I’d say “Good Morning Fresh Skin” is a good name for this product!

Boots Sheet Mask With Added Dipeptide

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots Sheet Mask With Added Dipeptide. This mask promises to fill in fine lines and to make skin look more radiant.

How does it work? Cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 15 minutes, then massage the remaining essence from the sachet into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s really nice! There are 4 masks in this collection, and this is by far the best of the bunch! First of all, this mask doesn’t have that weird fragrance (it’s actually more of a smell) that the other 3 masks have. This was a nice surprise!

I’m also happy to report that this mask seems to fill in the fine lines on my forehead, and that it gave my skin a nice glow. I really liked that a lot!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this face mask! Boots Sheet Mask With Added Dipeptide is available as a 25g single-use sheet mask for £1.50.

Face Facts Watermelon Hydrating Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Face Facts Watermelon Hydrating Sheet Mask. This face mask contains watermelon extract as well as sodium hyaluronate, and it promises to give skin a nice hydration boost.

This mask is easy to use… simply cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, lay back and relax for 15-20 minutes, then remove the mask and massage the remaining essence from the sachet into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s quite good. Whilst I didn’t care for the unnatural fragrance, I’m happy to report that the mask felt hydrating and refreshing.

The mask itself looked a bit odd on but it was a good fit for my face shape, so I have no reason to complain really.

Face Facts Watermelon Hydrating Sheet Mask is available as a 20ml single use face mask. I don’t remember what I paid for it, but it was definitely less than £1. By the way, on the sachet it says that the mask was not tested on animals, and that it’s suitable for vegans. Good stuff!

100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS… Prep & Perfect Matte Priming Peel Off Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Matte Firming Peel Off Mask which contains charcoal powder as well as a number of botanical extracts (hollyhock, bergamot, etc). This face mask promises to draw out impurities, to remove oil and to refine pores.

You’re supposed to apply the mask to cleansed skin, leave it on for about 15 minutes (or until it’s dry), then peel it off, wash your face… and you’re good to go! Read on if you’d like to know if this mask is any good…

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s perfectly average. I’m sure the mask removes dead skin cells, but I doubt it does much else. It’s simply not powerful enough. I haven’t seen or felt any difference, and I won’t repurchase this mask.

Primark‘s PS… Prep & Perfect Matte Firming Peel Off Mask is available as a 10ml single-use face mask for 80p. This face mask – just like any other Primark beauty product – is certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo).
