Beauty Formulas Radiate & Glow Facial Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Beauty Formulas Radiate & Glow Facial Mask with algae extract, lemon fruit extract, mulberry root extract and sodium hyaluronate.

This face mask promises to help restore and replenish the skin for a more invigorated and radiant feel.

The instructions say: Cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 15 minutes – then rinse, pat dry… job done!

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s very good! It feels hydrating, soothing, and at the same time it also feels refreshing.

This mask was unexpectedly good! I would have preferred a leave-on formula because I think the skin absorbs more of the essence if it’s left on and not rinsed off. I might be wrong, but this is how I feel. Either way, this mask is very good, and I will buy it again!

Beauty Formulas Radiate & Glow Facial Mask is available as a single use sheet mask at Savers drugstores. I believe I paid 79p for it – what a bargain!

Nail Of The Day – Ciate What The Shell & Stamping With MoYou London Mexico 04

Hi there! Happy Tuesday! I’ve got a short Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Ciaté What The Shell (2 coats). This is a nice dark purple polish. For some reason it looks blue in the photo… however, it really is purple!

For the images I used my MoYou London Mexico 04 stamping plate.

The silver polish I stamped with is Nails Inc. South Kensington. This is a “foil effect” polish which looks remarkably bad when used as an actual nail polish. But it’s highly pigmented, so it’s perfect for stamping! I’ll move this one into my stamping stash!

Haul! New Eye Palettes, Lipsticks, Fragrances, Nail Stuff…

Hi there! Today’s post is about some of the beauty stuff I bought over the past few weeks. To be more specific… all of these products were bought before the lockdown… OK, let’s have a look!

Essence Crystal Power Eyeshadow Palette£3. This palette and all the other Essence stuff is from Wilko!

Essence Ola Rio Eyeshadow Palette£3.50.

3 Essence This Is Me Lipsticks (03 Bold, 05 Legendary, 06 Real) – £2.30 each.
2 Essence Plumping Nudes Lipglosses (05 Bold Love, 07 So Heavy) – £1.15 each.
2 Essence Shine Last & Go Nail Polishes (27 What Is This Feeling, 47 Forget The Rules) – 80p each.
Essence Ultra Quick Dry Top Coat£1.70.

Marks & Spencer Vanilla & Woods Eau de Toilette£10.
Marks & Spencer Rhubarb & Peony Eau de Toilette£10.

Some of the Essence stuff was on clearance, so I can’t say whether your local store would have it. The M&S fragrances are usually £12.50, but they were on special, so I bought 2 of them.

Have you tried any of these products or would you like to try any of them? What have you bought (or been able to buy) recently? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 😘

The Battle Of The Purples – Palmolive Aroma Moments So Relaxed Aromatic Bath Foam vs. Carex Sensitive Bath Soak

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 bath products – Palmolive Aroma Moments So Relaxed Aromatic Bath Foam with essential oil & Carex Sensitive Bath Soak.

Palmolive Aroma Moments So Relaxed Aromatic Bath Foam with essential oil is one of my all-time favourites. The formula is gentle, and the fragrance is sensational – it smells wonderfully purple – thanks to lavender oil and ylang-ylang. I’m enjoying this bath gel very much!
palmolive-bath-carex-bath
Carex Sensitive Bath Soak is nice but not special. I found the formula a bit drying. And whilst the bath gel smells amazing when you sniff it from the bottle, it doesn’t smell as nice once dissolved in water. It doesn’t smell bad, but it has a strong waterlily note which I don’t care for. This isn’t a terrible product, but it’s also not a great product.

As expected, Palmolive Aroma Moments So Relaxed Aromatic Bath Foam is the clear winner of the Battle Of The Purples. If you’d like to try these bath gels, they’re available as 500ml, and they’re £1 each (if you pick them up at a bargain store).

Scinic Vita Ade Eye Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Scinic Vita Ade Eye Cream which I’ve been using for a little while now. This eye cream promises to moisturise and to brighten dull skin around the eyes. It also claims to improve skin’s elasticity and to reduce wrinkles.

This eye cream contains plenty of amazing ingredients – niacinamide, ceramide, collagen, hyaluronic acid, vitamins B, C and E (and others) as well as a number (I stopped counting at 15) of botanics extracts like aloe leaf juice, grapefruit and lime extracts, and many more!

I think this eye cream is wonderful! It’s one of my 2 all-time favourite eye products (the other one’s Olay’s original eye gel). Here’s why: I love the formula. It’s silky and smooth – almost like a serum. The eye cream is easy to apply, and it sinks right into the skin. It plays well with all the other products I’m using (toner, serum, facial oil, moisturiser, foundation, eyeshadow, etc.), and I have no complaints.

I have no lines around my eyes (Phew!), so I can’t comment on whether this eye cream would help with this. Having said this, I have no reason to doubt this eye cream’s youth-restoring powers because it keeps its other promises. I’m happy to report that this eye cream has improved the elasticity of the skin around my eyes, that it’s wonderfully hydrating, and that is really is brightening!

All in all, I love this eye cream, and there’s not a single thing about it that I’m not 100% happy with. Scinic Vita Ade Eye Cream is one of my new beauty favourites! I’d love to tell you how much product you’re getting, but this isn’t mentioned anywhere – I found this is the case with lots of products from Korea. However, I think it’s more than 15ml. Now, let’s look at the price – I only paid £6 for this fantastic product! Thank you, TK Maxx!

Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist.

This body mist contains a number of moisturising ingredients, such as glycerin, castor oil and aloe leaf juice. It also contains flower extracts of exotic Tahitian gardenias!

I’ve been using this body mist on and off for a little while, and I love it! It has the most wonderful gardenia fragrance one could imagine. It’s warm, creamy, but it also feels transparent. This body mist is lovely as a spring and summer fragrance!

This body mist is also lightly hydrating. I like to spray it down my back – and it makes my skin super soft!

If you’re interested, Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist is available as 125ml. I paid £10.99 for a pack of 3 bottles (special offer before Yves Rocher closed its UK online shop).

Nail Of The Day – Color Club Blossoming & Stamping With MoYou London Mexico 08

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a few weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Color Club Blossoming (3 coats). I think 2 coats would have done the job, but I was working from home, and my nails had plenty of time to dry whilst I was typing away…

For the images I used my MoYou London Mexico 08 stamping plate. The polish I stamped with is a random black polish – this is why the images are quite pale. And in case you’re wondering – yes, I’m still looking for my favourite black polish…

All in all, not a great mani, but not a bad one either. 😁

Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Shampoo & Conditioner. I’ve been using these hair care products for over 2 weeks now, and here’s what I think.

Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Shampoo is clarifying and gentle at the same time. The sunny and fruity fragrance is rather unspectacular but definitely pleasant. I’ve noticed that this shampoo doesn’t cause my hair to get all tangled up, so I don’t have to use much conditioner. This is really nice – and more expensive brands should take note!

Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Conditioner was a nice surprise too. The conditioner is very thin, and I thought I’d have to use plenty of it – but no! It’s super effective, and my hair’s enjoying it very much!

As you can see, I’m very happy with my current hair care combo! If you’re interested, Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 350ml each for about 99p each. I bought these 2 products at my local Savers drugstore.
