Runner-Up – Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask With Vitamin C & Glycolic Acid
WINNER – Lucy B. Royal Water Lotus & Vanilla Musk Eau De Parfum

Spascriptions did an amazing job with this brightening face mask. I love it!
And Lucy B.’s Royal Water Lotus & Vanilla Musk fragrance is something special!

Onto the honourable mentions! I’m a big fan of Westlab’s Cleansing Himalayan Salt. And there were numerous face masks that I liked a lot – too many to mention. 100% Cruelty-Free – Primark PS Radiant Glow Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Primark PS… Radiant Glow Sheet Mask with pro-vitamin B5, pearl extract, anise fruit extract, witch hazel, and vitamin E. This face mask promises to brighten skin.

Use this mask after you’ve cleansed your face. Just leave the mask on for about 20 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s quite good. I found the mask slightly brightening. At the same time it felt deeply hydrating, and it didn’t leave a sticky film on my skin. Very nice! The only thing I’m not happy with is the strong watery yet powdery floral fragrance. It’s comparable to water lily or lotus which I’m not a fan of.

If you’re interested, Primark PS… Radiant Glow Sheet Mask is available as a single use face mask for 80p at Primark. This mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

Essence XXXL Longlasting Lipgloss 1 Baby Doll’s Favourite, Collection Bedazzled Special Glitter Edition Eye Palette

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 products – Essence XXXL Longlasting Lipgloss 1 Baby Doll’s Favourite and Collection Bedazzled Special Glitter Edition Eye Palette.

Let’s start with this Essence XXXL Longlasting Lipgloss 1 Baby Doll’s Favourite which I picked up when it was on sale for £1 at Wilko’s.

Whilst the pale peachy shade is nothing special, I do like the hydrating formula of this lipgloss. I’m also a fan of the subtle vanilla flavour. I’m happy to continue to use this lipgloss, and I have no doubt that I’ll finish it over the next few months.

Onto this Collection Bedazzled Special Glitter Edition Eye Palette which was £1.99 at Fragrance Direct. I’m not really a fan of the brand Collection, but the palette was cheap, so I wanted to give it a try.

This eye palette contains 9 glittery eyeshadows – a few colours, a few neutral shades, black and white. I did the swatches on a well-moisturised forearm!

The shades in the top row are purple, grey and a light beige. The purple is terribly chalky and not easy to blend. The grey and the light beige are poorly pigmented. It took more than 10 swipes to get the colours to show!

Row 2 has a chalky minty green, an incredibly poorly pigmented black (What were they thinking?) and a surprisingly half-decent gold. It took 10+ swipes for the green and black to show, but just about 2 or 3 swipes for the gold.

And in the bottom row there’s a terribly ugly metallic blue, a poorly pigmented white, and a very nice metallic brown. They did keep the best for last! The blue and white are, again, 10+ swipes, but the brown is just a single swipe!

I’ve made the decision to use the nice brown shade for all my eye looks until the end of the month. But after that I’ll bin the palette as I won’t keep it for just 1 eyeshadow.

Thanks for stopping by today, lovelies! 🥰

Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt

Hi there! Today’s post is about these bath salts which I picked up at my local B&M Bargains store – Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt. On the pack it says that these bath salts are naturally cleansing and that they contain over 80 minerals. They also claim to leave skin smooth, radiant and healthy looking.

I’ve given these bath salts a try, and I like them. I don’t think they made my skin look any different, but they made my skin feel cleansed, smooth and soft. I’ll continue to use them regularly, and I’ve already purchased 2 more large bags!

Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt bath salts are available as 1kg (fine or coarse grain) for £5.99. I got mine for £2 at B&M Bargains!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir, Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot, Foils, & Stamping With MoYou London

Hi there! Happy Monday, everyone! Today’s post is about this mani that I did about 2 weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers). This is an amazing polish. With most gold, silver and metallic shades, you get visible brushstrokes – but not with this one! 😍 For the images I used my MoYou London Zodiac 01 stamping plate and a black Rimmel polish.

I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir (2 coats). I like this polish a lot. It looks great on its own – but I think it looks even better with those cute rainbow foils. 🌈

Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask With Vitamin C & Glycolic Acid

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask with vitamin C and glycolic acid. This mask promises to brighten and to revitalise the skin.

You’re supposed use this mask after you’ve cleansed your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then rinse. On the back of the pack it also says that the mask should not be left on for longer as it might cause an allergic reaction. This sounds scary! So I looked at all the ingredients first. I was satisfied that there’s nothing in the essence that I don’t use regularly, so I was happy to give this mask a try.

I think this is a very good mask! Whilst the mask was on my face, I could feel that it did something. But it didn’t feel unpleasant, weird or scary at any point. When I took it off, I noticed that my skin looked indeed brighter. It was exciting to see! 😍 I have 4 more of these masks, and I’m looking forward to using these over the next few weeks or months.

Spascriptions Brightening Spa Treatment Mask is available as a pack of 5 masks. I paid £4.99 at TK Maxx – a total steal!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Melon Madness Peel-Off

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Montagne Jeunesse Melon Madness Peel-Off face mask which promises to cleanse and to soften the skin. Just apply the mask after you’ve cleansed your skin, let it dry for about 15 minutes, and then you can just peel it off.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s one of Montagne Jeunesse’s best peel off masks. When I peeled it off, I could feel that it was, without doubt, lifting dirt out of my pores. And I’m also happy to report that the mask left my skin feeling super soft.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this face mask! Montagne Jeunesse Melon Madness Peel-Off is available as a 10ml single use face mask for 90p (Primark). This face mask is certified cruelty-free – it carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

Face Facts Queen Bee Moisturising Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Face Facts Queen Bee Moisturising Sheet Mask. This sheet mask is enriched with honey and sodium hyaluronate, and it’s easy to use – cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s quite good. I didn’t care for the unnatural scent of the essence, but the mask felt nice on my skin whilst on, and the essence left my skin feeling deeply hydrating for an entire day. I can definitely see myself picking up a few more of these masks.

Face Facts Queen Bee Moisturising Sheet Mask is available as a 20ml single-use face mask for 99p at Savers.
