Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots No7 Skin Illuminator.
This product promises “natural looking radiance for a beautiful glow” – this sounds great!
This product can be used in 3 ways – as a primer before you apply your make-up, mixed with your foundation, or as a highlighter on your cheeks and brow bones.
I’ve been using this product on and off for a few months now. It doesn’t work as a primer prior to applying my make-up (it makes my foundation ball up). And I don’t think that it makes my skin look glowing or radiant.
However, it works wonders when I mix it with my foundation and apply both products in one go. I have very dry skin as well as eczema and psoriasis, and moisturisers, face mists and facial oils will always just be temporary fixes.
Because of this, I’m happy to say that this product makes my foundation look dewy all day long. My foundation does lose a bit of coverage, but it’s not too bad.
This product might or might not work for you, and this will depend on your skin type and which other products you use on your face. Some products are simply not compatible, or they might only be compatible if used in a specific way.
I’m hesitant to recommend this product for the above reasons, and whilst it only works for me when used in one specific way, I’m enjoying it a lot, and I can see myself buying it again.
Boots No7 Skin Illuminator is available as 30ml for £12.50. Mine is from a half price No7 gift set I bought for myself.
