I found this body lotion for a ridiculous price (£4) at Superdrug. I’ve never smelled the fragrance La Vie De Bohème, and there was no tester in sight.
But since I liked several Anna Sui fragrances in the past, I was rather hopeful that I’d like (or maybe even love) this body lotion.
What does it smell like? The top notes of La Vie De Bohème are rose, pear, red berries and dragon fruit. The heart notes are peony, freesia and mangnolia. The base notes are raspberry, black vanilla, musk, sandelwood and woody notes.
I’ve been using this body lotion on and off for about 3 weeks now, and I don’t really care for it. It has a random sweet fruity-floral scent. I can smell strawberries and random pale flowers. The scent isn’t very special or memorable.
If I had blind-bought the fragrance, I think I’d have been disappointed! I will finish this body lotion, but I won’t repurchase it, and I also have no interest in trying the fragrance. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend La Vie De Bohème, but if you’re interested, Anna Sui La Vie De Bohème Body Lotion is available as 200ml. The matching Eau de Parfum is available as 30, 50 and 75ml.
