Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots Live + Be Captivsting Pause Whipped Body Cream. Live + Be is a discontinued vegan and cruelty-free product range from Boots. Whilst the line has been discontinued, Boots still has stock, and this body cream is still available as 300ml for £1.75 (I bought it via Boots’ website.)
This body cream is supposed to smell like nutmeg, jasmine, coconut and black sugar – these are the notes listed on the back. I’m not gonna lie, after using a bath foam, face mask, hand cream and body mist with the same fragrance, I don’t want to smell this stuff anymore. The fragrance isn’t the greatest one to begin with. It’s a strange slightly herbal, powdery (almost dusty) and dry scent.
With respect to the formula, this body cream is actually great. Such a shame is doesn’t smell better. My husband has volunteered to use this body cream as a foot cream – and it will serve him well, no doubt. But I’m really glad that I don’t have to use this product; and based on what my nose is telling me, I wouldn’t recommend it.
