Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush Hand Creams

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing 2 hand creams which I picked up for £1 each at my local Poundland – Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush! Let’s get straight to the review!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade smells of sweet raspberries. The fragrance is very authentic, and if you love raspberries, this one’s definitely worth a try! I’m also happy to report that this hand cream feels very hydrating – almost nourishing. This is a very nice hand cream!

Patisserie De Bain Orange Crush is just as moisturising, and I’m happy with the quality of the product. However, I don’t love the fragrance – it’s a cheap Orangina kind of fragrance. I think this one might become a foot cream!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush are available as 50ml each. I paid £1 each.

Blogging Buddies, Could You Please Help Me?

Hi there! I noticed that my comments don’t post on other people’s blogs. It appears that WP thinks my comments are spam! But I’m not a spammer! I just want to be able to comment on other people’s blog posts…

Since my posts appear to go into everyone’s spam folder, I can’t even contact people individually. For this reason, can I please ask you to release my comments from your spam folder. It’s easy to do. Just go to WP Admin and click on comments. You will see 4 different options with the third option being “spam”. Please click it and locate my comment. Once done, please mark my comment as “not spam”. The option is right underneath the message.

I’m not sure how many comments have gone to spam, but I cannot post any comments anymore because of this. I’d be very grateful if you could all please check your spam messages an release my message!

Thank you!

Primark PS… Brightening Foaming Bubble Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face mask I tried not too long ago – Primark‘s PS… Brightening Foaming Bubble Mask.

This face mask promises to cleanse and to brighten skin. Primark recommends the mask be used weekly.

How does it work? Apply the mask to your face and relax for 15 minutes whilst the mask bubbles up.

Is it any good? I don’t think this mask is anything special. My skin didn’t look or feel different. And I didn’t notice any other difference to my skin at all. But I had a similar mask from Primark before, so I already knew not to expect too much.

What’s good? To be fair, this mask smells very nice (it smells of peach and tea), and I think it’s great fun to use.

If you’d like to give it a try, Primark‘s PS… Brightening Foaming Bubble Mask is available as 10ml for 80p.

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Brilliant Strength 190 Entice & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a few weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Brilliant Strength 190 Entice (2 easy coats). I love this polish. It’s almost a one-coater (which is very unusual for such a light colour), and I love the amazing self-levelling formula.

For the images I used my Pueen 74 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure stamping plate collection). This is one of my favourite stamping plates. I use it quite often!

The 2 polishes I stamped with are the wonderful Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto (black) and Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize (gold).

Body-X Endless Weekend & Feel Enchanted Shower Gels

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels that I found at my local B&M store – Body-X Endless Weekend and Body-X Feel Enchanted. I thought the bottles looked nice, so I had a sniff. And since I liked what I smelled, I bought these shower gels.

So how’s Body-X Endless Weekend? This is a very refreshing shower gel. It smells “blue” and marine with a bit of lemon. I think this is a great summer unisex shower gel!

Body-X Feel Enchanted is a gorgeous floral shower gel. It smells of poppies and other flowers. I love the transparent feel of the fragrance – it’s very enjoyable in this weather.

I like these 2 shower gels a lot, and I would recommend them! Body-X Endless Weekend and Body-X Feel Enchanted are available as 500ml each. I paid £1 (B&M Bargains).

Nutrafix Keratin Hair Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Nutrafix Keratin Hair Mask which I found at my local Poundland store. This hair mask with keratin, vitamin B5 and wheat protein promises to heal damaged roots and split ends in order to restore hair’s natural beauty.

The instructions state… wash your hair, towel it dry, apply the hair mask, cover your hair with a warm towel, leave the mask on for 5 minutes, then rinse and follow up with a conditioner (from the same brand, of course).

I’ve given this hair mask a try, and I think it’s one of the worst hair products I’ve ever had. Its awfulness is comparable with the awfulness of Naked Colour and Naturtint. And here’s why:

I applied a generous amount of product. Unfortunately, it turned my hair into an unflexible mess pretty much immediately. I applied some more product hoping it would help, but it didn’t. When I rinsed the product 5 minutes later, I tried to detangle my hair – gently – with my fingers, but it was impossible. The hair mask turned my hair into a knotty mess. Awful!

To make a long story short, in the end I had to double-condition my hair just to get the knots out. I lost 3 times as much hair as I normally do, and I probably wasted around 20-30 litres of water because I had to rinse my hair 4 times (shampoo, hair mask, conditioner x2).

I’m usually against binning stuff because most of the time I can find a way to repurpose an unloved product, but there was no point trying to find a raison d’être for this hair mask. I threw it out. If you’d like to try it, Nutrafix Keratin Hair Mask is available as 150ml for £1 (Poundland).
