Anovia Replenishing Argan & Marula Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I’ve got a hair care review for you today. I’ve given Anovia Replenishing Argan & Marula Shampoo & Conditioner a try, and here’s what I think. 🙂

Anovia Replenishing Argan & Marula Shampoo feels super gentle, so I think it would be best suited to people with dry or damaged hair. The fragrance is gorgeous. It’s warm and cuddly which is very nice!

Anovia Replenishing Argan & Marula Conditioner is good but not great. It smells nice, and it detangles my hair well. I also think it makes my hair feel soft, so I shouldn’t complain. However, this conditioner seems to flatten my hair. I think this one would be most suited to people with unruly hair.

All in all, I like these 2 products, but I’m only using them twice a week (that’s because of the unwanted flattening effect). The other 5 days I’m using something else. But I will happily continue to use these products, and I might buy them again.

Anovia Replenishing Argan & Marula Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 500ml each for 99p each (Home Bargains).

Anovia Healthy Shine Bamboo & Lotus Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about Anovia‘s Healthy Shine Bamboo & Lotus Shampoo & Conditioner. I found these at Home Bargains, which is one of my favourite stores – not just because it’s close to where I live, but also because of the many beauty bargains which are just waiting to be picked up! Now let’s focus on the hair care products…

Anovia‘s Healthy Shine Bamboo & Lotus Shampoo is a nice enough shampoo. It cleanses my hair, and I have no complaints really. However, I wish it would produce more of a lather. But that’s just me. The next person might disagree. I’m also not the biggest fan of lotus (or waterlily) scents, but this one is nicely done. So yeah, no complaints really!

Anovia‘s Healthy Shine Bamboo & Lotus Conditioner is not my favourite conditioner. It certainly does the job, but it’s rather thin, and I need to use quite a bit of product. But if you have straight and / or thin hair, this conditioner will be fine.

I’m happy to continue to use these products, but I don’t think I’ll repurchase them. Having said this, if you’re a fan of lotus-scented products, you should give these a sniff and maybe a try. Anovia‘s Healthy Shine Bamboo & Lotus Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 500ml each for 99p each (Home Bargains).

Haul – New Products! Feat. MoYou London, Models Own, Bundle Monster, Anovia, T-Zone, Baylis & Harding

Hi there! I haven’t done a haul post in a little while, so here’s what I bought over the past couple of weeks. 🙂

Anovia Bamboo & Lotus Shampoo and Conditioner – 500ml bottles for 99p each (Home Bargains).

T-Zone Blue Peel Off Mask (99p, Home Bargains), and 3 Models Own Hipstick Sheen Lipsticks – Naked Brown, Retro Pink, Deep Plum (£1, Poundland).

New MoYou London stamping plates – Sailor 06 & 13, Origami 06, Animal 03 & 07, Tropical 10 – these were £2.99 each.

New MoYou stamping polishes – Little Pickle, Scandi Sun, Genie In A Bottle, Alpine Rain, Cancun Coral, Powder Blue, Orchid Chic – these were 2.99 each.

I must say I found the customer service at MoYou London really poor. There were several issues with my order. The customer service agent didn’t read my emails properly so there were a few pointless exchanges, and because of this it took over a month to sort out my order. I also found it extremely lazy and unprofessional that she didn’t start or finish most of her emails with any kind of salutation.

I don’t usually complain if people make mistakes. We all make mistakes, but most of us have the decency to say sorry. Please don’t think I sent her any rude emails. She kept making mistakes, she was condescending, and she failed to apologise whilst I was simply too patient for too long! I wanted to buy a few more MoYou stamping plates, and I already had them in my online cart, but then I decided to buy new stamping plates elsewhere…

… and I purchased Bundle Monster‘s sensational Secret Garden stamping plate collection – £17.62. What a bargain! I purchased this set through Nail Art UK. Great service!

And I found Baylis & Harding‘s Pink Grapefruit & Raspberry Body Butter and Fragrance Mist. These were £1 each at Poundland.

I’m very happy with what I bought. Have you tried any of these products? Would you like to try any of them? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading!

Major Haul! Awesome New Products / Beauty Stuff I Bought In September And October

Hi there! I forgot to do a haul post last month, so today I’m showing you what I bought in September and October. 🙂

I bought a set of 5 SpaScriptions face masks – the set was £4.99. I also bought a set of 5 panda face masks – this set was £4.99 as well. TK Maxx

I bought a Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Mask (£4), a large 1kg Kallos Multivitamin hair mask (£7.99), and a Superfacialist Rose Hydrate Creamy Cleanser (£4). TK Maxx

I picked up 3 Superdrug items – a Salted Caramel Shower & Bath Soak (£1.47), a Glycolic Tonic (=toner) and another Glycolic Overnight Peel to replace the one I finished. The last 2 products were £5.99 each, but there was a buy 1 get 1 free offer, so I paid £5.99 in total for the 2 Naturally Radiant products.

I got a few more masks – I couldn’t resist those Hunny Bee grapefruit masks (£4.99 for a set of 5 masks), and I bought another SpaScriptions mask set (£4.99 for a set of 5 masks). TK Maxx

I found an Argan & Marula shampoo and conditioner combo (99p each) and a My Little Pony shower gel (99p). Home Bargains

I got another Superfacialist Rose Hydrate product – I bought the Day Cream (£6.99), and I picked up 2 Sanctuary Spa Being fragrances (£3.75 each). And I spent £6.99 on my Superfacialist Vitamin C + Brighten night cream. TK Maxx, Boots

The Zatik Passionfruit Cacao Lotion was £5, the Scinic Vita Ade Eye Cream was £6, and the Scinic Sparkling Pore Toner was £6 as well. TK Maxx

I bought a big It’s True Moisture Cream (£9.99), a Smack Beauty Firming Night Cream (£3), and another Hunny Bee mask set (£4.99 for 5 masks). TK Maxx

I got my hands on a Skin Care Chemist Macadamia Beauty Oil (£3), and I bought a Sukin Chia Seed Oil+ Foaming Facial Cleanser set. The set was £7.99 which is excellent value because the chia seed oil is usually £14.95 on its own! TK Maxx

And I bought 2 big jars of compressed sheet masks. These were £4.99 each. The bamboo jar contained 22 masks, the assorted jar contained 23 masks. TK Maxx

This is everything I bought in September and October. It’s quite a lot, I think. 🙂 Have you tried any of these products? Or would you like to try any of them? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

The Battle Of The 100% Cruelty-Free + Made In The UK Strawberry-Scented Body Mists – Anovia Light & Refreshing Strawberry & Kiwi vs. MPM Just Fruit Simply Strawberry

Hi there! I haven’t done any product comparisons in a long time. However, I’ve had two untried strawberry-scented body mists in my stash for ages, so I thought it’s time for The Battle Of The 100% Cuelty-Free + Made In The UK Strawberry-Scented Body Mists! Now meet Anovia’s Light & Refreshing Strawberry & Kiwi Body Mist and MPM’s Just Fruit Simply Strawberry Body Mist.

Let’s start with Anovia’s Strawberry & Kiwi Body Mist! This body mist promises light moisturisation and delicately fragranced skin. Whilst I’m not sure whether this product really moisturises my skin, I think the fragrance is actually quite nice. Thanks to the kiwi note, this body mist is considerably fresher than your average strawberry-scented body mist. Well done, Anovia! Oh, and Anovia’s products are made in the UK, and they’re cruelty-free!

Now let’s take a closer look at MDM’s Just Fruit Simply Strawberry Body Mist! This body mist promises to leave skin smelling delicately fruity – and that’s exactly what it does! I think this strawberry fragrance is also one of the most pleasant ones I’ve ever smelled. I have to admit that I don’t like strawberry-scented products in general. That’s because most of them smell like strawberries that are about to go off. However, this Just Fruit body mist, which was made in England and is cruelty-free, doesn’t have that obnoxious overly ripe stench that almost all the other strawberry-scented products out there have. Well done, MPM!

Now let’s get to the actual comparison! I think that both body mists are really nice. Anovia’s body mist is fresher, so it’s more suitable for the warmer seasons. However, the Just Fruit body mist is sweeter and, obviously, it’s all about strawberries. Both body mists are available in 150ml bottles. The Anovia body mist is £1 at Poundland, the Just Fruit body mist is 79p at Home Bargains.

I don’t think The Battle Of The 100% Cuelty-Free + Made In The UK Strawberry-Scented Body Mists has a winner. I would definitely recommend both products. If you want a strawberry-scented body spray that smells fresh and authentic, forget about Boots or TBS. Just try these body mists!

Made In The UK – Anovia Fragranced Body Mists With Fruit Extracts – Light & Refreshing Passion Fruit & Pineapple, Sensual Marula & Argan

Hi there! A few weeks ago I bought lots of new products. And today’s post is about two of them – Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Light & Refreshing Passion Fruit & Pineapple and Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Sensual Marula & Argan.

These two body mist are made in the UK, they’re paraben-free, and they contain real fruit extracts! This sounds great, I know. But I haven’t told you about the best thing yet. OK, the best thing is that these 150ml body mists are 79p only at Home Bargains! Now let me tell you if they’re any good.
anovia-body-mists
The Passion Fruit & Pineapple body mist is very fruity. It’s tropical and tangy – like passion fruits. And it’s also sweet and juicy – like pineapples! Whilst this body mist isn’t particularly long-lasting (it’s just a body mist after all), the fruity scent is refreshing and very pleasant while it lasts.

The Sensual Marula & Argan body mist is very nice. It smells warm, cuddly, feminine, and yes, sensual! It lasts longer than the fruity body mist, so if I douse myself in it, it lingers for almost half a day.

I think these body mists are really nice. They’re certainly as good as the considerably more expensive body mists that you can buy on the high street. Sure, these body mists aren’t ‘real’ perfumes, so you can’t expect them to last for long on your skin. However, they cling to fabrics, so I spray them on my scarves as well. 🙂

I would definitely recommend these body mists if you’re looking for a cheap pick-me-up or if you want a new body mist to pop into your handbag. I also think these body mists would be great for young teenage girls who are just getting into fragrances – that’s because these two scents are pleasant, they’re not too strong, and they’re cheap!

Have you tried these body mists? Or would you like to try them? Have you ever had anything from this brand?  Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading!

22 New Products – Home Bargains, Poundworld, Poundland & Asda Beauty Haul

Hi there! If you read my blog, and if you remember this post – you know I’d like to get away from being a beauty and toiletries hoarder. However, I simply can’t resist a bargain when I see one. Now let’s have a look at the new stuff that’s going to be stashed away somewhere at my place…
haul-10
I found these NSPA shower gels at Home Bargains – for 79p each. These are 500ml and they’re normally £3 at Asda. I think these ones are going to be discontinued. 😦 By the way, all NSPA products are made in the UK.
haul-11
Home Bargains also had a few nice and cheap body mists. From left to right: Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Sensual Argan & Marula 150ml, Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Light & Refreshing Passion Fruit & Pineapple 150ml, Dolly’s Mixtures Peach Melba ‘Just Peachy’ Body Mist100ml, NSPA Luscious Fresh Clementine Body Mist 200ml.

The Dolly’s Mixtures Body Mist was 49p (usually £2 at Asda), the other three body mists were 79p each. I’ve never seen the brand Anovia anywhere before today, so I can’t comment on what their products cost elsewhere, but the NSPA fragrances are usually £3 at Asda. Oh, and all these body mists were made in the UK!
haul-12
Up next we’ve got Alberto Balsam Stunning Shine shampoo & conditioner. They’re 300ml each and they were £1 each (special offer) at Asda. The next item is NSPA’s Cherry Body Scrub – also from Home Bargains. The 225ml scrub set me back 79p (instead of £3 at Asda). The eyeshadow brush is from Poundworld – of course it was £1.
haul-13
And here’s the actual beauty stuff – 2 Barry M eyeshadows (£1 for the pack of 2), 2 Sally Hansen nail polishes, 2 Max Factor eyeshadows, 2 Max Factor nail polishes, 2 L’Oréal nail polishes and 1 Rimmel nail polish which is a backup. Some of these products came from Poundland, some from Poundworld. All in all I paid £10 in total for all these eyeshadows and nail polishes.

Yes, I stocked up on stuff I didn’t really need. But everything was so cheap. In fact I only paid £19.02 for everything! I live for bargains, you know. Bargain hunting might actually be ma raison d’être. 🙂 Have you done any shopping recently? Any hauls you’d like to tell me about? Feel free to let me know in the comments. And thanks for reading!
