Balance Active Formula Gold Collagen Rejuvenating Serum

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Balance Active Formula Gold Collagen Rejuvenating Serum. This serum contains colloidal gold for a radiant glow and marine collagen to smooth and protect the skin. You’re supposed to use this serum twice a day. Just give the bottle a good shake and smooth the serum over your face and neck.

I’ve been using this serum for only 2 weeks now, but I can already tell that it’s quite nice. It’s a bit sticky, so I’d have to deduct an imaginary point, but I love that it’s hydrating and that it gives me a glowing complexion. I’m very happy to say that this serum kept its promise! The serum is also compatible with all the other products I’m using. There’s no balling up of anything. I’m happy to keep using this serum, and based on my experience, I’d recommend it.

If you’re interested, Balance Active Formula Gold Collagen Rejuvenating Serum is available as 30ml. I paid a ridiculous £2.99 at B&M Bargains (although the price may have gone up slightly recently).

Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler

Hi there! Today’s post is about this non-greasy Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler. This product promises to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, to lift and plump up the skin, and to give skin a more rested and radiant look.

This product is aimed at all skin types. You’re supposed to apply it by patting it over lines and wrinkles. However, this product can also be applied to the entire face and neck.

How’s the product? Well, it doesn’t make a difference to the fine lines I’ve got, and it doesn’t lift or plump or my skin. So it doesn’t do most of what it claims to do. However, this stuff is very hydrating, so I’m now using it as a night cream.

I won’t repurchase this product, but if you’re interested, Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler is available as 50ml. I paid £2.99 (Home Bargains).

Balance Active Formula Vitamin C Brightening Serum

Hi there! Today’s post is about the serum I’m using at the moment – Balance Active Formula Vitamin C Brightening Serum. This is a lightweight and non-greasy serum that is aimed at all skin types. It contains 2 forms of vitamin C which promise a brighter and more even looking complexion as well as glowing and smoother looking skin.

I was curious about the 2 forms of vitamin C, so I did some research and found out that… sodium ascorbyl phosphate (which is listed as the 3rd ingredient) is supposed to be the gold standard vitamin C derivative for acne-prone skin. It’s one of the most stable vitamin C derivatives, and it’s said to treat acne without side effects. Wow! And ascorbyl glucoside (which is listed as the 6th ingredient) is apparently one of the most effective vitamin C derivatives when it comes to brightening. This sounds great, doesn’t it?

I’ve been using this serum twice a day for well over a month now, and I think it’s excellent. I haven’t had a single spot since I started using the serum. This stuff is truly impressive and I’m blown away! 😱 😍

I’m also happy to report that this serum helps with brightening skin. My skin is brighter and my skin tone looks more even and more refreshed. I’m enjoying this serum very much, and I will continue to use it during the summer. But I’m also looking forward to using the other Balance serums I bought last week.

Balance Active Formula Vitamin C Brightening Serum is available as 30ml. I paid £2.99 (Home Bargains) for this gem!

Balance Active Formula Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm

Hi there! Today’s post is about an eye cream that I found for £1.99 – it’s called Balance Active Formula Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm. This eye cream promises instant lifting and tightening of the skin around the eyes, and it claims to be wrinkle-smoothing. And on the box it says that it contains a trademarked active breakthrough ingredient…

I’ve been using this eye cream for a month now, and I think it’s OK. I don’t think that it made the skin around my eyes look or feel firmer or smoother at all. However, this eye cream is hydrating without being greasy – this is nice! I’m also happy that this eye cream plays well with my make-up.

So all in all, I would recommend this product – if you’re looking for a simple eye cream that hydrates the skin around your eyes. The standard 15ml tube can be yours for £1.99 which is great value if you consider that the average cheap bottom-shelf eye cream (that doesn’t live up to its promise) is usually at least twice the price of this eye cream.

Have you tried this product? Or would you like to try it? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Beauty Haul! 20+ New Products – Olay, Ekél, Scinic, Daily Defense, Sukin, Balance, Rimmel, Primark, Sinful Colors, Orly & Max Factor

Hi there! Today’s post is about the beauty, skin care & toiletries I bought in August. Well, this is most of what I bought. There were a few purchases in between, but these were 1 or 2 items only each time, and I already stashed those products away…

Anyway, before I tell you what I bought, I’d like to remind you that I’m still doing 3 out / 1 in which means that I can buy 1 item (make-up, skin care, shower stuff, etc.) for every 3 items that I finish. I’m committed to the 3 out / 1 in policy. However, this time I had to ‘borrow’ from future empties. The offers were just too good! OK, now onto the goodies!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting UV Cream – finally, it is mine! This is an import from the US. Olay doesn’t sell this moisturiser in the UK. I’ve read great things about it, and I didn’t have to think twice when I found it for £12.99.

Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel Apple & Rice Bran – I bought the Grape version of this Peeling Gel a few weeks ago – and I fell in love with it. So I bought the apple and rice bran versions as well. They were £4.99 each.

Scinic Aqua All In One Ampoule – I’m only 50% sure of what this product is supposed to do. Yeah, I know what ‘all in one’ means, but still… anyway, the reason I bought this was because it just looked so cool. I’ll try to review this one asap. I paid £9.99.

Sukin Facial Recovery Serum – I bought this serum because it was £4.99 only. It’s usually just under £14, so this one was a total bargain.

Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler & Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm – I’ve never heard of this brand, but the wrinkle filler was £2.99, and the eye lift serum was £1.99. I can’t wait to test these products!

Daily Defense Argan Oil 3-Minute Leave-In Treatment – So far I’ve been impressed with Daily Defense’s hair products. And that’s why I bought this deep conditioner. It was £1.99 only!

More Daily Defense! I bought the Daily Defense Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner combo and a massive 946ml Argan Oil Body Wash (which will probably take me a year to finish). These 3 products were 99p each!

I also bought 2 more Max Factor Pan Stiks. The shade 12 True Beige is the perfect shade for me, but I only use it as my winter foundation because it’s not easy to find anymore. The Pan Stiks were 2 for £5.99. I also bought 2 clear Orly polishes for 99p each. And I bought another Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow nail polish for 75p. I already have one bottle of this polish, but love these bubblegum purple nail colours so much!

I went to Primark and Poundland again. I picked up 2 cheap white polishes (Primark own brand, 60p each), and 5 Sinful Colors nail polishes (Poundland, £1 each).

This is (most of) the stuff I bought in August. I didn’t need any of these products, but I was lured in again… Have you tried any of these products? If so, how did / do you like them? Or would you like to try any of these products? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂
