Daily Defense Advanced Deep Conditioner With Argan Oil From Morocco

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Daily Defense Advanced Deep Conditioner With Argan Oil From Morocco. I’m a huge fan of this brand, so I was over the moon when I found this deep conditioner for £1.49 at my local Home Bargains store.

How does it work? According to the instructions, simply use it after you’ve washed your hair and instead of your usual conditioner. Leave it on for 3 minutes before you rinse it out. And you’re supposed to use it 2-3 times per week.

I’ve been using this conditioner once a week since August, and I like it a lot. It makes my hair incredibly soft and silky, it doesn’t weigh my hair down and it’s just a great product to use. I’m glad I bought 2 of these conditioners (plus another 2 in a different scent) when I saw them at my local Home Bargains store.

If you’re interested, Daily Defense Advanced Deep Conditioner With Argan Oil From Morocco is available as 295ml. I paid £1.49.

Daily Defense Pomegranate And Vitamin E Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about the hair products I’m using at the moment – Daily Defense Pomegranate Moisturising Shampoo & Conditioner. Daily Defense is a Canadian brand, and they state that their products are cruelty-free. This is great! Now let’s focus on the products. 🙂

Daily Defense Pomegranate Moisturising Shampoo is very nice. It’s low in sulfate, but it lathers up perfectly, and it cleanses my hair gently. The fruity fragrance is a bit random, but I like the shampoo very much.

Daily Defense Pomegranate Moisturising Conditioner is very effective. It detangles my hair with ease, it makes my hair feel soft and silky without weighing it down. Again, the random fruity fragrance is rather unspectacular, but in all other aspects this is a great conditioner which mops the floor with comparable products from brands like Pantene or Garnier.

Daily Defense Pomegranate Moisturising Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 473ml each. I paid £1.25 each – a total steal!

Daily Defense Body Wash – Moisturizing Argan Oil & Moisturizing Pomegranate

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 Daily Defense shower products – Daily Defense Argan Oil Body Wash and Daily Defense Pomegranate Body Wash. These 2 products were made in Canada, and they’re cruelty-free!

Alright, let’s start with Daily Defense Argan Oil Body Wash! I’ve been using this shower gel on and off since November. And I like it a lot! This shower gel feels gentle and hydrating (!), and it smells warm and creamy. Very nice! My husband tried this shower gel as well – and he agrees. 🙂

Daily Defense Pomegranate Body Wash is nice too. It feels just as gentle as the argan oil shower gel. I’d describe the fragrance as a pink fruity mixture. It’s not the most exciting fragrance for a shower gel, but it’s nice enough.

Daily Defense Argan Oil Body Wash and Daily Defense Pomegranate Body Wash are available as 473ml and 946ml. I paid 99p for the big Argan Oil Body Wash and £1.79 for the big Pomegranate Body Wash.

If you’d like to try Daily Defense products, you should swing by your local Home Bargains and Pounstretcher stores! 🙂

Hi there! I haven’t done a haul post since May, so let me tell you what I bought since then. 🙂

1 T-Zone Rose Gold Peel Off Mask – I don’t know how much this was, but I picked it up at B&M Bargains. So it’s fair to assume it was dirt cheap!
2 Thierry Mugler Alien Flora Futura – this was on sale, £25 only!

3 Derma V10 konjac sponges – these were 99p each, and I bought 3.

4 Primark PS… Face Masks – I bought a number of Primark face masks. I think I bought about 20. Most of them were 80p.

5 L’Oréal Elvive Dream Lengths Restoring Shampoo & Detangling Conditioner – these are the big 400ml bottles, and they were £2.25 each.

6 Bling Pop Firming & Brightening Face Mask with Peach – pack of 10 for £5.99.
7 Nature Love Charcoal Face Mask – pack of 5 for £4.99.

8 Retinol-X Anti Aging Sheet Mask – pack of 5 for £4.99.
9 Precision Beauty Charcoal Face Mask – pack of 5 for £4.99.

10 Derma V10 Mango Body Butter – this was 99p for a regular 220ml tub.

11 Manhattan Nail Polishes – blue and red. 99p each.
12 Astor Heidi Klum Lipstick – brownish nude colour, £1.75.

12 Daily Defense Pomegranate Shampoo & Conditioner – these are 473ml bottles, and they were £1.25 each!

And I bought 2 more duvet cover sets from Asda. The one on the left was £14, the one on the right was £7 (half price offer, but it’s back to £14 now for the king size).

I’m really pleased with what I bought. I know I picked up a lot of face masks, but everything else is quite reasonable! What have you bought recently? Have you tried any of the products I bought? Would you like to try any of these products? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Macadamia Oil

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 hair care products that I’ve been using since December – Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Macadamia Oil. These products are cruelty-free, and they were made in Canada!

I don’t have dry hair. I bought these products because I’ve been impressed with Daily Defense’s Keratin products and their Argan Oil products. And now that I’ve been using the Macadamia Oil products for a few weeks now, let me tell you if they’re equally good. 🙂

The shampoo is very nice. It feels wonderful. I’d describe the formula as creamy, dreamy and soothing. However, the shampoo doesn’t make my hair feel oily at all. It makes my hair and scalp feel cleansed and nourished at the same time. Awesome!

The conditioner is just as lovely. It helps me detangle my hair with ease, and it leaves my hair feeling super soft and silky without making it feel or look oily. It’s definitely in my all-time top 10 of conditioners!

I think these 2 products are wonderful. And I would recommend them to everyone! Oh, and in case you’re wondering… these two products smell like a mix of shea butter and coconut water.

Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Macadamia Oil are available as 473ml each for about £1. If you want to try Daily Defense’s awesome products, you need to swing by your local bargain stores!

Daily Defence Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Argan Oil

Hi there! Today’s review is about a hair care combo I started to use over a month ago – Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Argan Oil.

I’d never heard of the brand Daily Defense until I found a couple of shampoos and conditioners at my local Poundstretcher store. The big 473ml bottles were £1 each, and the products were cruelty-free and made in Canada. So I thought I’d be stupid not to buy them! I’ve already reviewed the other Daily Defense shampoo and conditioner combo, and now I’m telling you if these hair products with argan oil are any good.
daily-defense-argan-oil
I really like the shampoo. It’s quite runny (just like the keratin shampoo), but it feels great on my head – it’s very gentle which is really nice! Oh, and the shampoo is low in sulfate, but it lathers up perfectly well. Awesome! The conditioner is very good. It helps me detangle my hair with ease, and it makes my hair feel incredibly soft and silky. I noticed a huge difference right after the first use. This conditioner made me realise how average L’Oréal’s Nutri-Gloss Crystal Conditioner and Superdrug’s Aloe Vera & Mango Conditioner were.

I think this hair care combo is outstanding! These 2 Daily Defense products are suitable for most hair types (but not oily hair), and they mop the floor with half of L’Oréal’s offerings. They’re also light years ahead of everything Pantene has ever done. And I’m saying this as someone who buys L’Oréal and Pantene products regularly. Oh, by the way, these 2 Daily Defense products smell very nice. I can’t really describe the fragrance, but it smells creamy and warm. Absolutely lovely!

If you’d like to try Daily Defense’s Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Argan Oil, swing by your local bargain stores! I bought these two big 473ml bottles for £1 each (Poundstretcher), and I’ve also seen the shampoos in jumbo bottles (probably around 900ml) for £1.49 at Home Bargains! Now go, buy and try! I’d love to hear what you think about these Daily Defense hair products!

Beauty Haul! 20+ New Products – Olay, Ekél, Scinic, Daily Defense, Sukin, Balance, Rimmel, Primark, Sinful Colors, Orly & Max Factor

Hi there! Today’s post is about the beauty, skin care & toiletries I bought in August. Well, this is most of what I bought. There were a few purchases in between, but these were 1 or 2 items only each time, and I already stashed those products away…

Anyway, before I tell you what I bought, I’d like to remind you that I’m still doing 3 out / 1 in which means that I can buy 1 item (make-up, skin care, shower stuff, etc.) for every 3 items that I finish. I’m committed to the 3 out / 1 in policy. However, this time I had to ‘borrow’ from future empties. The offers were just too good! OK, now onto the goodies!

Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting UV Cream – finally, it is mine! This is an import from the US. Olay doesn’t sell this moisturiser in the UK. I’ve read great things about it, and I didn’t have to think twice when I found it for £12.99.

Ekél Natural Clean Peeling Gel Apple & Rice Bran – I bought the Grape version of this Peeling Gel a few weeks ago – and I fell in love with it. So I bought the apple and rice bran versions as well. They were £4.99 each.

Scinic Aqua All In One Ampoule – I’m only 50% sure of what this product is supposed to do. Yeah, I know what ‘all in one’ means, but still… anyway, the reason I bought this was because it just looked so cool. I’ll try to review this one asap. I paid £9.99.

Sukin Facial Recovery Serum – I bought this serum because it was £4.99 only. It’s usually just under £14, so this one was a total bargain.

Balance Active Formula Instant Effect Wrinkle Filler & Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm – I’ve never heard of this brand, but the wrinkle filler was £2.99, and the eye lift serum was £1.99. I can’t wait to test these products!

Daily Defense Argan Oil 3-Minute Leave-In Treatment – So far I’ve been impressed with Daily Defense’s hair products. And that’s why I bought this deep conditioner. It was £1.99 only!

More Daily Defense! I bought the Daily Defense Macadamia Oil Shampoo & Conditioner combo and a massive 946ml Argan Oil Body Wash (which will probably take me a year to finish). These 3 products were 99p each!

I also bought 2 more Max Factor Pan Stiks. The shade 12 True Beige is the perfect shade for me, but I only use it as my winter foundation because it’s not easy to find anymore. The Pan Stiks were 2 for £5.99. I also bought 2 clear Orly polishes for 99p each. And I bought another Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow nail polish for 75p. I already have one bottle of this polish, but love these bubblegum purple nail colours so much!

I went to Primark and Poundland again. I picked up 2 cheap white polishes (Primark own brand, 60p each), and 5 Sinful Colors nail polishes (Poundland, £1 each).

This is (most of) the stuff I bought in August. I didn’t need any of these products, but I was lured in again… Have you tried any of these products? If so, how did / do you like them? Or would you like to try any of these products? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Keratin

Hi there! A few months ago I bought 2 Daily Defense shampoo and conditioner combos, and I’m revieweing one of those combos today. Now meet Daily Defense Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Keratin!

To be honest, I’d never heard of this brand before – but I was interested because the products were made in Canada (Hello blogging buddies from Canada!) and they’re cruelty-free! 🙂 I’ve been using these two products for a few weeks now, so I’ve had the chance to form an opinion. Now let me tell you how I like these hair products!
daily-defense-keratin
I think the shampoo is really nice. It’s a little runnier than L’Oréal or Pantene shampoos, but that’s OK. The shampoo claims to be low in sulfate, but it still lathers up well. However, the shampoo is really gentle, and I’m sure it would be amazing for people with dry hair and / or sensitive scalps. The conditioner is very nice too. It helps me detangle my hair in the shower and it makes my hair feel very soft. I love it!

And now, let me compare these Daily Defense hair products with other brands! I think this shampoo & conditioner combo is even better than my favourite Pantene combo (= Breakage Defence), and it’s almost as good as my two favourite L’Oréal combos (= Colour Protect and Triple Resist). On top of that, these two Daily Defense hair products smell absolutely fantastic! Scent-wise they’re in my all-time top 5!

If you’d like to try Daily Defense’s Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner With Keratin, swing by your local bargain stores! 🙂

Poundland Clearance Haul – New Stuff & 50% Off Everything!

Hi there! A week ago I mentioned that one of the local Poundland stores is closing down and that I might stock up on stuff… well, I did! The store is closing this Saturday, 11 March, and as of now everything’s 50% off! So let me show you what I bought. 🙂
haul-57
Poundland had 2 eyeshadow brushes and 2 foundation brushes left. They’re mine now. I think Poundland’s make-up brushes are really good. I’ve been using all sorts of different make-up brushes from Poundland for years – and I have yet to come across a dud. I also bought 4 nail art brush sets, and 2 sharpener & eyebrow brush sets. I wanted the sharpeners, but I don’t need the eyebrow brushes. But I can see that these eyebrow brushes might come in handy for nail art…
haul-54
Whilst almost all the shampoos were gone, the store had lots of conditioners left. I picked up 3 Gliss conditioners (I can pick up the matching shampoos elsewhere). They had all sorts of different conditioners, but I only bought conditioners that I actually like and use. The ones I got for myself are Ultimate Volume, Ultimate Colour and Liquid Silk.
haul-55
I got myself another Daily Defense Keratin conditioner (bought at Poundstretcher) and Alberto Balsam’s Mandarin & Papaya shampoo and conditioner.
haul-56
And there’s more hair stuff! I bought another Alberto Balsam conditioner – this one’s Stunning Shine. And I picked up another Harmony Hair Indulgence shampoo and conditioner combo. And I found one more L’Oréal Deep Conditioner.
haul-58
I found a Wonder Woman shower gel and shampoo set – and the matching fragrance as a roll-on! And I bought 5 nail products2 L’Oréal polishes, 1 Poundland glitter topper, 1 Poundland cuticle oil and 1 Poundland nail hardener.

This is what I bought. I paid £14 in total for all these goodies!

Major Boxing Day Haul – 80 New Products (Sanctuary Spa, Boots Extracts, My Little Pony, Pusheen And More)

Hi there! I know I did a haul post only 2 weeks ago. But I also said I’d be doing some serious bargain shopping on Boxing Day. I ordered lots of stuff online, and I also went to a few stores (Boots, M&S, Poundstretcher, B&M). Here’s what I bought!

I found this My Little Pony Lip Balm Trio at B&M Bargains. I don’t know how much it was because…
1. I didn’t care, and 2. I lost the receipt. I guess it was £2.99 – the My Little Pony nail polish set which I bought recently was £2.99, and I just assume these sets would cost the same.
haul-31
My local Poundstretcher had a few different Daily Defense hair products. I bought the Keratin shampoo and conditioner, and the Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner. These are huge 473ml bottles – and they were £1 each. I’ve never seen these before, and my guess is they were discontinued ages ago. But I sniffed the products before I decided to buy them – and these 4 products smelled excellent! And something else – these products were made in Canada – and they’re cruelty-free!
haul-33
Boots Extracts Vanilla House Of Treats was on top my Boxing Day wish list – because my husband loves Boots’ vanilla fragrance very much. I ended up buying 2 of these vanilla sets, each of which contains 200ml shower gel, 200ml body lotion, and 150ml body mist. The Vanilla House Of Treats was half price on Boxing Day – so I only spent £5 per set.
haul-34
Another half price bargain I got my hands on was this cute Pusheen plush cosmetic bag. It was £4 only (Boots). The cosmetic bag is quite big – it’s the biggest cosmetic bag I’ve ever owned. I’ll take measurements… I promise.
haul-35
The next awesome half price set is I Love…’s The Takeaway Trio. It contains 3 chocolate truffle scented products – 500ml bath & shower cream, 200ml body butter and a big 150g bath fizzer. Priced at £4 (Boots) this set is amazing value!
haul-36
Then I spent £2.50 on this Garden Collection Mini Indulgence set (Boots). It contains 5 products – a lavender body wash and a lavender body lotion, a rose body wash and a rose body lotion, and a magnolia body wash. The bottles are 100ml.
haul-37
I found 2 cute Winter Woodland toiletries sets. The first set contains 3 shower gels and 3 body lotions.
haul-38
And the second Winter Woodland set contains 5 body mists. These sets are from Poundstretcher.
haul-39
I also bought a Boots Extracts Body Spray trio. For £3 I got Vanilla (My husband’s favourite!), Strawberry (I’ll give it a sniff, but I think I’ll have to pass this one on to my teenage relative), and Mango (Yummy!). The body sprays are 70ml.
haul-40
My local Marks & Spencer store had a few Pusheen sets for half price too. I bought a nail polish set for £5 and a lip balm duo for £3.

Up next is the My Little Pony Cutie Beauty Bath Set. It was £3.99 at B&M Bargains. It’s that cute that I don’t even care if any of these products are good. 🙂
haul-43
I also got the big Boots Extracts House Of Treats – which contains several shower gels, shower scrubs and body butters. All of these products are travel-sized. This set was £10.
haul-48
And here’s what’s in the House Of Treats – 4 shower gels, 4 body scrubs, 4 body butters. The fragrances are Marshmallow & Peppermint (limited Christmas edition), Coconut, Vanilla & Mango.
haul-44
I was glad that I Love…’s Pamper Me Essentials set wasn’t sold out by Boxing Day. So I got this set for £5.
haul-47
The Pamper Me Essentials set contains a 200ml Raspberry & Blackberry Shower Gel and the matching hand cream, and it contains 2 chocolate Truffle products – a body butter (which I already had in a different set) and a body mist (which was the reason I bought this set – I really wanted this Chocolate Truffle body mist).
haul-45
I bought the Sanctury Spa’s Escape And Let Go set which contains an exfoliating mitt, a 100ml body butter, a full size shower gel and a full-size body scrub. All these products have the same fragrance – White Lily & Damask Rose.
haul-46
I think this Sanctuary set was good value. It was £8! The shower gel and the shower scrub are usually £5.50 each, so I’m really happy with this set.
haul-51
I Love…’s The Big Tub Of Fun was £7.50 only. Yes, I only bought it for the Chocolate Truffle products… anyhoo, this set contains a 500ml Chocolate Truffle shower cream, a bath fizzer, a body puff and three Raspberry & Blackberry products – body butter, hand cream and body mist. I think this set is fantastic considering the low price!
haul-49
I also bought the huge Sanctuary Spa Make A Wish And Let Go box. It was £22.50 and it’s packed with awesome products!
haul-50
What’s in the box? Heel balm, mini shower gel, bath soak, face mask, body butter, shower gel, salt scrub, body scrub and hand cream.
haul-42
And here are two non-beauty items – I bought a My Little Pony ringbinder. It was £1.99. And I got myself a foam sticker set for 99p. I found these items at B&M Bargains. 🙂

So this is what I got myself on Boxing Day (in store and online). It’s quite a lot, I know. But it’s nothing compared to what I’ve bought in the past. This Boxing Day (well, technically it’s last boxing Day already…) I managed to ignore all those half-price make-up and nail polish sets. Well, I got the Pusheen nail polish set but that doesn’t count because it’s Pusheen!

I also spent just over £106 for all of this. And whilst I don’t know where to store all these sets and products, I don’t think I spent too much. I do think that I’m a reasonable Boxing Day shopper because I’ve never been someone who’d spend hundreds of £ on ‘impulse items’ (aka stuff you’ll regret buying – like those 5 evening dresses, or those 9 pairs of red high heels…). Yeah, I had to get that out of my system because I know people who still pay off their 2012 Christmas shopping…

Feel free to comment if you want to. Oh, and congratulations if you’ve made it to the end of the post. 🙂
