Hi there! Today’s post is about this Freeman Revitalizing Pomegranate Peel-Off Gel Mask which promises to purge dirt and excess oils from the skin for a clearer and revitalised complexion.
How does it work? Cleanse your face, then apply the mask and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. Once dry, peel it off and wash off the residue. The usual.
I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it’s more or less the same as Freeman’s cucumber mask. It took ages for this mask to dry, and I gave up after about 30 minutes. I peeled off what came off, and I removed the remainder of the mask – slimey patches that didn’t dry – with a cotton pad before I washed my face.
I didn’t think that this mask has any real positive effect on my skin. The peel-off effect is too gentle, and the mask barely removes half-loose bits of flaky skin. Also, 15ml is too much for a peel-off mask (and it’s probably the reason why it won’t dry). 10ml would suffice for a single-use.
I won’t be buying this mask again, but if you’re interested, Freeman Revitalizing Pomegranate Peel-Off Gel Mask is available as 15ml for £1.50. I made use of a Save 1/3 offer, so mine was £1.
