Haul! New Products – Primark, Poundworld, Poundland, Boots, Wilko, Home Bargains, M&S

Hi there! I’ve done a little shopping this month. I haven’t gone nuts, I promise. But I picked up quite a few bargains. So let me show you what I bought!

I bought 4 PS… Facial Cleansing Sponge duo packs. That’s 8 sponges for £4. The reason I stocked up is because I’ve been using one of these sponges for a few weeks now – and I love it! I also bought 2 more PS… Konjac Sponges. That’s £3 for 2 konjac sponges.

It appears that Superdrug has given up on selling reasonably priced konjac sponges which is their loss, really. They also discontinued a few other fantastic products, so I haven’t done much Superdrug shopping lately. So yeah, it really is their loss! Anyhoo, those PS… sponges are from Primark!

I don’t think I’ve ever left my local Poundworld store empty-handed. Poundworld and Bargain Buys (which is part of the Poundworld family) have awesome nail products. I bought a cute Nails Inc. glitter topper (RRP £13), a Revlon Base Coat (RRP £6.49) and a J Lo exclusive collection L’Oréal polish (RRP £4.99). I paid £1 per polish – that’s £3 in total for these 3 polishes.

I picked up 4 new Montagne Jeunesse masks – Relaxing Spa Mud Mask, Candyfloss Scrub, Sea Splash Peel Off and Blueberry Blast Mud Masque. These masks seem to be exclusive to Primark, and they were 90p each. This adds up to £3.60 for 4 face masks.

Sukin’s Purifying Facial Masque is normally £11.95 at Boots. Thanks to a Save 1/3 offer it was £7.97. However, I didn’t spend any money, I paid with points!

I picked up 3 more Montagne Jeunesse face masks (they’re £1 each at Boots). However, these were on a 3 for 2 promotion, so I paid £2 (I paid with points for these products as well!) for these 3 face masks. I also went to Poundland where I found this Imperial Leather Foamy Banana shower cream – I paid £1 for it.

I bought these 10 Essence Colour Boost nail polishes – these are supposed to be one-coaters, so I bought them all to find out if they stamp on a black base. Well, if they stamp, they’re the cheapest quality stamping polishes out there (£1.80 each). If they don’t stamp, they don’t.

I got myself 2 more Essence Out Of Space Stories nail polishes (£2 each) and 4 Essence Glamaxy top coats (£2 each). Why 4? This is a flakie topper! All in all, I paid £30 for these 16 Essence nail polishes.

When I went to Home Bargains the other day I picked up 3 promising products. Creightons Charcoal Deep Cleansing Scrub and Creightons Charcoal Detoxifying Clay Mask were 79p each, I believe (sorry, I lost the receipt). I also picked up a strawberry-flavoured kids’ toothpaste. Yes, I bought it because of the Twilight Sparkle image!

Then I went to a different Primark store where I picked up a My Little Pony Lip Balm duo for £1.50, a My Little Pony Body Mist (100ml) for £2, and another Montagne Jeunesse Sunburst Sauna mask. On the way back home I swung by Marks & Spencer – and I bought a 100ml Monotheme Il Libro Degli Agrumi Pompelmo fragrance for £22.

Have you tried any of these products? Have you done any shopping recently? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!

Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash – Effortless & Beautiful

Hi there! Not too long ago I picked up quite a few toiletries at my local B&M Bargains Store. They had lots of different Imperial Leather shower gels – for 89p only! Of course I stocked up… 😉

And (finally) I’ve now tried Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Effortless and Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Beautiful.
Imperial Leather Shower
Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Effortless with citrus and gardenia is very nice. It’s a clean and modern fragrance – it’s the kind of fragrance I wish I had as an actual fragrance. Yes, it’s that good!

Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Beautiful with jasmine, lychee and peony is… wonderful. It smells like a high end product. I can’t get enough of it!

I think these two Imperial Leather shower gels are extremely nice – Sanctuary Spa nice! If I hadn’t known these were Imperial Leather shower gels, I would have thought these two could be new additions to the Sanctuary Spa collection. Like I said, these two shower gels smell absolutely lovely. I also love the argan oil pearls – they really are moisturising! I think Imperial Leather did a fantastic job with these products. 11 stars!

Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Effortless and Imperial Leather Indulgence Rich Moisturising Body Wash Beautiful are available as 250ml. The price depends on where you shop! 😉

Beauty Haul – Bargains From The Discount Stores – For £12 In Total!

Hi there! I often go to Poundland, Poundworld, Home Bargains and the likes. That’s because I find great stuff all the time. And I really want to show you what I came home with last week.
Olay Gift Set
This beautiful gift set contains a full size Olay Complete Day Cream (50 ml) and an Olay mirror. As a true Olay girl I had to have it. The face cream alone is usually £10. Superdrug sells the face cream and mirror set for £10. But the same set is £4 only (special promotion) at Poundland if you spend at least £1 in store. Bargain!
Max Factor Nail Polish
I also got my hands on 3 Max Factor Glossfinity nail polishes. From left to right: 140 Cobalt Blue, 100 Candy Floss, and 175 Aqua Marine. MF Glossfinity polishes are usually £5.99 at the big drugstore chains. But I got these for £1 each from Poundland and Poundworld.
Max Factor ES
I was really please to find Max Factor Max Effect Mono Eye Shadows as well. The two shades I bought are 12 Mysterious Black and 07 Vibrant Mauve. Max Factor has launched new mono eyeshadows, so these ones are on the way out – but they’re still £4.99 each at Superdrug. Or £1 each at Poundland and Poundworld.
Imperial Leather Shower 05
Up next are toiletries. I got Imperial Leather’s 500 ml (that’s 100% extra free!) Skin Kind body washes. The fragrances are (from left to right) Raspberry & Lime Blossom, Cotton Extract & Oat Milk, and Cucumber & Aloe Vera. They’re usually about £2.79 each – but Poundland sells them for £1 each.

I haven’t used any of these products yet, but the face cream, the shower gels and the eyeshadows are going to be used soon! I’ll let you know how I like all these products. 🙂

100% Extra Free – Imperial Leather Revitalising Ylang Ylang & Juniper, Imperial Leather Day At The Spa Nourishing Body Wash

Hi there! If you read my blog, you know that I can’t resist anything that says “half price” or “100% Extra Free”. So when I saw that my local Poundland had restocked these huge 500 ml Imperial Leather shower gels, I felt a mild bargain fever coming on. 🙂

So I bought Imperial Leather’s Revitalising Ylang Ylang & Juniper Shower Gel and Imperial Leather’s Day At The Spa Nourishing Body Wash with shea butter and honeysuckle.
Imperial Leather Shower
Imperial Leather Revitalising Ylang-Ylang & Juniper Shower Gel turned out to be much nicer than expected. Whilst this shower gel is not moisturising at all, it smells surprisingly pleasant – almost sophisticated. I would describe the fragrance as a mix of tea, flowers and clean woods. Very nice!

Imperial Leather Day At The Spa Nourishing Body Wash is just as pleasant. I love that it’s a noursishing body wash, so my skin doesn’t feel dry the moment I get out of the shower. The shea butter and honeysuckle fragrance is lovely and I think it matches the spa theme perfectly. The shower gel has been renamed to Summer Days now, but that name is just as fitting.

If you too can’t resist anything that says 100% Extra Free, you should pop by your local Poundland to see if they stock these huge 500 ml Imperial Leather shower products. I’ll definitely go back again to check if they’ve got any other fragrances. 🙂

Imperial Leather Guava & Lotus Flower, Blackberry Blossom & Wild Fig, Grapefruit & Pomegranate

Hi there! Some of you know that I’m a serious toiletries hoarder. However, I’m doing my best to use up as much ‘old stock’ as possible. And that’s why today’s post is about Imperial Leather Tempting Shower Creme with Guava and Lotus Flower, Bewitching Shower Creme with Blackberry Blossom and Wild Fig and Revitalising Grapefruit & Pomegranate Shower Cream. Now that’s a lot of bold print, so let’s get started with the actual review.
Imperial Leather Shower
Guava & Lotus Flower is not my favourite because the scent is a tad too marine and too masculine for my taste. It’s not bad, it’s just that the fragrance doesn’t tickle my fancy. However, this shower cream feels surprisingly moisturising and it is very gentle to the skin.

Blackberry Blossom & Wild Fig smells quite strongly of figs. The warm and sweet fragrance is not for everybody (my husband hates it), but I think Imperial Leather managed to create a very authentic fig scent. This shower cream is just as moisturising as the guava & lotus flower one, but it gets an extra star for being pretty. Why is that? This shower cream contains micro shimmer – bewitching indeed!

Grapefruit & Pomegranate is a nice one. 🙂 I love grapefruits and blood oranges, so I had to have this shower gel. The scent is very realistic and I like it. However, I would have loved it if Imperial Leather had left out the pomegranate.

I believe that these three shower creams have been discontinued. The guava & lotus flower and grapefruit & pomegranate shower creams were briefly available in Imperial Leather’s new slim bottles, but I haven’t seen them in a while. The blackberry blossom & wild fig fragrance is now available as Foamburst.

100% Extra Free! Imperial Leather Relaxing Shower Cream, Revitalising Shower Gel

Hi there! I’m always bargain hunting so it’s no surprise that I’m a regular at Poundworld, Poundland, Home Bargains, etc. Just a few weeks ago I found these 500 ml Imperial Leather shower gels for £1. I haven’t had these before, so I had to have them now.

Now meet Imperial Leather Relaxing Shower Cream with lavender and nightblooming jasmin and Imperial Leather Revitalising Shower Gel with uplifting summer fruits!
Imperial Leather Shower
I really love the Relaxing Shower Cream. It ‘s hydrating and it feels great on the skin. I also like the scent. I find most lavender scented products to smell a bit harsh, but this shower cream has a pleasant floral fragrance. Well done, Imperial Leather!

The Revitalising Shower Gel smells fruity and summery – nice! However, I think this is one is one of the most drying shower gels I’ve used in the past couple of months. I think it would be OK if you don’t have dry skin, but if you do have dry skin, you won’t be able to skip the moisturiser after the shower.

If you too can’t resist anything that says 100% Extra Free, you should pop by your local Poundland to see if they stock these huge 500 ml Imperial Leather shower products. I’ll definitely go back soon to check if they’ve got any other fragrances. 🙂

Imperial Leather Blissful Butterfly Lily & Amber Bath Cream, Sublime Star Flower & Pomegranate Bath Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about two limited edition bath creams: Imperial Leather Blissful Butterfly Lily & Amber and Sublime Star Flower & Pomegranate. I’m not sure when I bought these two products, but it must have been ages ago. Anyway, they’re both used up now (Success!) so let’s get to the review.

Imperial Leather Blissful Butterfly Lily & Amber is not a product I would have bought more than once. I don’t really like white floral scents so the lily fragrance of this bath cream didn’t appeal to me at all. Most of the product ended up in the hand soap dispenser in the kitchen.
Imperial Leather Bath
Imperial Leather Sublime Star Flower & Pomegranate on the other hand smells fairly nice. It smells rather generic from the bottle, but once it touches water, it smells very elegant and feminine – almost like an expensive high end product.

Imperial Leather discontinued these two bath creams quite a while ago so you won’t find them in regular stores anymore. I’m not too sad about this because I didn’t find these bath creams to be particularly moisturising; actually I thought they were a bit drying. However, they’re both used up now, so I’ll move on to the next product from my seemingly bottomless toiletries stash.
