UNE Casual Matt Colour Rouge Demi-Mat Lipstick M08

Hi there! Today’s post is about the lipstick I’ve been wearing on and off for the past 2-3 months – UNE Casual Matt Colour Rouge Demi-Mat Lipstick M08. UNE is (or was) an all natural brand which, unfortunately, has been discontinued. However, thanks to bargain stores and online shops, there are plenty of UNE products waiting to be picked up. Alrighty, onto the review!

I love this lipstick! The formula is absolutely perfect. I’ve tried terribly waxy matte lipsticks (MUA), and I’ve also had dry af matte lip products (Manhattan), but UNE’s lipstick formula is simply perfect. It feels like velvet, it doesn’t settle in the fine lines, it’s just perfect and I love it!

The colour is simply wonderful too. It’s a gorgeous rosey-nude that suits me very well. I usually prefer brownish-nude lipsticks, but this colour is just stunningly beautiful, so how could I not love it?!

UNE Casual Matt Colour Rouge Demi-Mat Lipstick M08 and other UNE products are only available through online bargain stores. I would definitely recommend you try at least 1 UNE product. 😘

Maybelline Color Elixir By Colorsensational 135 Raspberry Rhapsody

Hi there! Today’s review is about Maybelline Color Elixir By Colorsensational 135 Raspberry Rhapsody. This is one of the products I picked up very recently. Since I haven’t used a lipgloss in a while, I gave this one a try right away, and here’s what I think. 🙂

I love it! This lipgloss has the most amazing colour; it’s a dark raspberry shade which, unfortunately, was impossible to capture with any of the phones or cameras we own. Sorry! But I love the colour (it makes my teeth look whiter than they are, and it looks great with pale skin), I love the glossy finish (no glitter), I love the taste (candy vanilla), and I love that it hydrates my lips.

In summary, I love this lipgloss very much. I already went back to Poundland and bought a back-up! Maybelline Color Elixir By Colorsensational 135 Raspberry Rhapsody is available for £1 (Poundland).

Astor Soft Sensation Lipstick 114

Hi there! Today’s short post is about Astor‘s Soft Sensation Lipstick. The shade I’m wearing is 114. I think this is a lovely shade for this time of year. It’s a soft berry to plum shade that suits a lot of skin tones. I love this shade because it looks good with my pale skin. Many darker berry or plum shades give me an unwanted gothic look, so this kind of shade is just right for me. 🙂

I’m also in love with the formula. This is a super creamy lipstick that feels lovely on my lips. Whilst this lipstick doesn’t survive a meal, it lasts well if I don’t drink or snack every couple of minutes. And it lasts pretty much all day if I seal it with a lipliner (yes, a plain and simple lip liner). All in all, I’m very happy that I picked up this pretty lipstick for £1 at one of the bargain stores!

Claire’s Popcorn Popcorn Flavoured Lip Balm

Hi there! Today’s post is about a lip balm that I bought a little while ago for £1Claire’s Popcorn Popcorn Flavoured Lip Balm. I know I say this all the time, so here it goes again… I have too many lip balms, and I didn’t really need this one, but it looked too cute to resist! 🙂

How’s the lip balm? It’s brilliant! It hydrates my lips perfectly, and it really tastes and smells like popcorn. The flavour is 100% spot on! I’m keeping this lip balm in my make-up bag or on my desk, and several co-workers have commented on how cute it is. I should have bought 10 of these lip balms to give away to a few friends and co-workers, so that they could experience this freakinshly fantastic popcorn flavour too!

Manhattan Soft Mat Lip Cream 56K

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing another matte lip product – Manhattan Soft Mat Lip Cream 56K. I’ve already reviewed one of these matte lip products, and you can read the review here. But let’s focus on this one!

Right… I don’t like this product at all. And here’s why: First of all, both the look and the feel of this product are dry af. Terrible! This lip cream feels wonderfully velvety when it’s applied, but once it’s dry, it really is dry! But there’s more…

The colour is something else! This shade is clearly not for me. Since I hate letting products go to waste, I am now mixing this mat lip cream with the other one (pale nude shade) AND with an overly creamy lipstick (the kind that doesn’t just bleed into the foundation but actually almost “slips off”). I know it sounds over the top but it actually works well, so I’m getting more than just some use out of a number of unloved products. 🙂

If you’re interested in matte lip products, Manhattan‘s Soft Mat Lip Creams (different shades) are available at the Poundstores for £1 each.

100% Cruelty-Free -Pusheen Strawberry Sweetness & Vanilla Goodness Lip Balms

Hi there! Today’s post is about Pusheen‘s Strawberry Sweetness and Vanilla Goodness Lip Balms. I picked these up for half price (£3) on Boxing Day (at M&S). I’ve been using these lip balms for quite some time now, so it’s time for a review!

Pusheen Strawberry Sweetness is really nice. I’m not the biggest fan of strawberry flavours (or scents) in cosmetics, but this one is really well done. It’s sweet and fruity, but it’s not sickly sweet or overly ripe. And I’m very happy with its hydrating qualities!

Pusheen Vanilla Goodness is simply awesome! It’s super hydrating – just like the strawberry lip balm. And the vanilla flavour is sensational. It smells and tastes like vanilla cake batter. I love it!

I’m very happy with these lip balms. They look cute, they taste great, and they do a great job! What’s not to love? I hope M&S will do a similar lip balm set this Christmas. Fingers crossed!

Manhattan Cosmetics Soft Mat Lip Cream 95G

Hi there! Today’s post is about a product that’s been living in my cosmetic bag for quite some time – Manhattan Soft Mat Lip Cream 95G. These Manhattan lip products have hit the Poundstores (different shades are available), so I thought it’s time for a review. 🙂

So how’s the product? I think it’s not great. This lip cream applies like liquid velvet (it feels amazing), but within a few minutes it dries down to a matte mess. It feels very drying, it doesn’t look good or natural, and the pale nude colour makes me look ill. If you’re wondering why I’ve chosen such a light shade… well, this was the darkest (or the 2nd darkest) available shade. I expected something else…

Having said that, I found a way to make the product work for me! I use it as a base for all those uber-creamy lipsticks that don’t last or tend to bleed. Guess what? It works! Perfectly! You could say the dry lip cream and those uber-creamy lipsticks cling to each other!

All in all, I have no reason to complain. This lip cream has given me the chance to wear a number of different lipsticks that I didn’t think I’d be able to wear at all (well, at least not without checking my lips every half hour…).
