Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 605 Purple Reign & Rainbow Foils

Hi there! I hope you had a good weekend! Today’s post is about a mani I did the other week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 60 Seconds 605 Purple Reign (2 coats).

This is a beautiful shade of purple. I like it a lot! I’m also very happy with how quickly this polish dries – no complaints here.

I used a some rainbow foil to add some colour to this mani, and I really liked the result.

If you’ve never done foil manis, but would like to give it a try, I did a pictorial which explains the process in 6 easy steps. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Ciaté Cabaret & Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani, which I did about 2 weeks ago, I painted my nails with Ciate Cabaret (2 coats).

I’m not the biggest Ciaté fan, but this colour is really lovely. This particular bottle is finished now – well, there’s about 1ml of goopy polish left, but I can’t do anything with it. 🤷‍♀️

For the colourful accents I used some of my leftover rainbow foil.

I really liked this mani. I even filled in the tips and applied top coat daily to make the mani last longer!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lycra Pro 327 Heart On Fire & Foils

Hi there! Happy Monday! Today’s post is about a mani I did just last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Lycra Pro 327 Heart On Fire (2 easy coats). This is a lovely polish. It dries quickly, and I like the true red colour very much.

For the accents I used some leftover goil foil. If you’ve never used nail foils, but are interested in it, here’s an important tip – do not ever throw out any leftover foils, as they will make the most amazing manis!

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 001 Evil & Foils

Hi there! I haven’t done Nail Of The Day posts in ages, and my nails are still a bit meh, but today’s post is about a mani from last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 001 Evil (2 coats). This is a decent black polish. It’s almost a one-coater, so it works really well as a stamping polish too.

For the colourful accents I used some leftover rainbow foil. If you’re wondering about how to do foil manis at home, I’ve done a super easy to follow pictorial and there are some tips and tricks too!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 313 Rita Rouge & Rainbow Foils

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel 60 Seconds 313 Rita Rouge (2 coats). This is a very nice polish. I like the black cherry shade and the quick drying formula!

For the colourful highlights I used an old piece of leftover rainbow foil. I think the ring finger looked particularly nice, but I liked the overall look of the mani. I’ll be doing more foils manis this coming winter.

Nail Of The Day – Beauty UK 73 Blue Moon & Gold Foils

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this super-easy-to-do mani I painted my nails with Beauty UK 73 Blue Moon (2 coats). This is a quality polish in every way! I wish Beauty UK products were still available at Superdrug.

For the accents I used some leftover gold foil.

When I painted my nails, I expected that the mani would end up looking nice, but it looked even better than I hoped. It looked like summer with blue seas and golden beaches… I will definitely keep this beautiful colour combo in mind for future nail ideas!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir, Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot, Foils, & Stamping With MoYou London

Hi there! Happy Monday, everyone! Today’s post is about this mani that I did about 2 weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers). This is an amazing polish. With most gold, silver and metallic shades, you get visible brushstrokes – but not with this one! 😍 For the images I used my MoYou London Zodiac 01 stamping plate and a black Rimmel polish.

I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir (2 coats). I like this polish a lot. It looks great on its own – but I think it looks even better with those cute rainbow foils. 🌈

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Matte Suede 863 Ruby Ribbon & Gold Foils

Hi there! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Matte Suede 863 Ruby Ribbon (2 coats). This is one of my oldest unloved polishes. 😄 When I bought it, I had no idea what matte suede even meant in terms of nail polish.

When I used this polish for the first time, I was disappointed because it dried down to a matte and streaky mess. It was incredibly ugly.

Now back to today’s mani! I used gold foil to give the plain burgundy shade some sparkle. And 1 coat of clear polish added extra shine. I liked this mani – and I will do more foil manis over the next few weeks.
