Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet & Pineapple Paradise Hand Creams

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 hand creams – Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet and Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise. These are usually around £4 – £5 each, but I found these at Poundland for £1 each, so I bought them.

Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet Hand Cream is a decent hand cream. It’s very nourishing, and I every time I use it, I can feel it on my hands for a while. It’s a heavy hand cream (in a good way), so better suited for night-time use. The mango scent is more like a mix of mango and orange, but it’s nice.

Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream smells exactly like the palm trees from Haribo’s Tropifrutti mix. Wow! The scent was a lovely surprise, but I can see it getting old eventually. Having said this, I’m still enjoying this hand cream – because of the fun scent and also because it’s a nourishing hand cream.

Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet Hand Cream and Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream are available as 50ml each. The price will depend on where you shop! 😁

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush Hand Creams

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing 2 hand creams which I picked up for £1 each at my local Poundland – Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush! Let’s get straight to the review!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade smells of sweet raspberries. The fragrance is very authentic, and if you love raspberries, this one’s definitely worth a try! I’m also happy to report that this hand cream feels very hydrating – almost nourishing. This is a very nice hand cream!

Patisserie De Bain Orange Crush is just as moisturising, and I’m happy with the quality of the product. However, I don’t love the fragrance – it’s a cheap Orangina kind of fragrance. I think this one might become a foot cream!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush are available as 50ml each. I paid £1 each.

Patisserie De Bain Sweet As Cherry Pie Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about Patisserie De Bain‘s Sweet As Cherry Pie Body Mist. 🙂

Patisserie De Bain is a UK brand that specialises in toiletries with sweet-treat fragrances. I’ve previously tried and reviewed their Cranberries & Cream and their Crème Pâtissière body products.

I haven’t blown away by their offerings, but since a number of Patisserie De Bain products have ended up at Poundland, I was happy to pick up a few items – like this body mist.

I’ve been using this body mist on and off for a few weeks now, and I have to say that I like it! As of now, it’s my favourite Patisserie De Bain product. Here’s why…

This spray is the perfect cherry fragrance. It’s sweet, it’s fruity, but it doesn’t have that old dish towel smell that so many cherry pie themed body products seem to have. Whilst it appears that this body mist is aimed at teenagers and women in their early twenties, I have to say that it reminds me of the slightly medicinal, yet unbelievably delicious cherry note in Délices de Cartier!

Patisserie De Bain‘s Sweet As Cherry Pie Body Mist is available as 150ml. I paid £1 (Poundland).

Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand & Body Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand & Body Lotion.

I’ve been using this body lotion on and off since I bought it about 6 weeks ago. And here’s what I think…

This body lotion smells of sugared violets. However, the fragrance is rather synthetic. It’s not bad, but it’s simply not credible as a semi-genuine foody scent.

Whilst I think that this body lotion is easy to spread and that it sinks into the skin quickly, I don’t think that it’s particulary moisturising.

I would say that it’s good enough for “maintenance” and for when you’re in a hurry (early morning starts), but if you have dry skin, this body lotion is just not good enough.

I will finish this body lotion, but I wouldn’t repurchase it.

Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand & Body Lotion is available as 200ml for £4.99. I paid £1 (Poundland).

Thierry Mugler Aura gift set£32.66. Debenhams.

Max & More No. 1 Forest Eyeshadow Palette£2. I found these palettes at Poundland.

Primark Holler And Glow Nails Before Tails Nail Polish Set£4.
Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade Hand Cream, Orange Crush Hand Cream£1 each.
Patisserie De Bain Sweet As Cherry Pie Body Mist£1.
The Patisserie De Bain products are Poundland finds!

These body butters are from Poundstretcher!

YSL Cinéma Eau de Parfum£31.50 (half price offer, Debenhams).
Malki Dead Sea Natural Sulphur Soap x2, £3.75 each and a 3 for 2 offer, so I am pretty annoyed that Boots forgot the 3rd item – but I have dropped them an email, and I hope they send me the missing Dead Sea soap asap.

The Crème Shop Santa’s List Charcoal Sheet Mask (pack of 5)£4.99.
The Crème Shop Pumpkin Spice Fusion Sheet Mask (pack of 5) £4.99.
These masks are from TK Maxx!

The Crème Shop Last Christmas Naughty & Nice Sheet Masks (pack of 6, 3 Naughty and 3 Nice masks) – £5.99.

Sanctuary Spa gift set number 3 – £10. Yes, Boots again.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me and Scrub Of Your Life. These came in a gift set with…

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter, Hand Food and 2 bath bombs. I am not going to use the bath bombs. They’re glittery. I’ll give them to the first person who wants them. The gift set with all 6 products was £10. Boots.

Creightons Hand CreamsArgan Oil, Cocoa Butter, Manuka Honey. I am not sure how much these were, but I’ll check the next time I swing by Home Bargains.

2 more Patisserie De Bain Hand Creams – these were £1 each. Poundland.

Boots No.7 gift set – this set contains all sorts of goodies. It was £39 (better than half price offer before the sale even started). Boots.

And finally… I bought 2 more George at Asda duvet cover sets. They’re king size, and they were £14 each. I love these designs! However, I need to stop buying duvet cover sets. I bought 6 over the past year, and even though I got rid of all the old (very old, actually) duvet cover sets, I have more than enough now.

*** By the way, please remember not to dispose of unwanted textiles of any kind (clothes, towels, bedding, etc) with your household rubbish. Your local charity shop will gladly accept items in good condition, H&M and other high street stores run textile recycling schemes (H&M accepts clothes and household textiles like towels and bedding), and animal shelters are usually happy to accept towels and duvet covers (but not duvets as they’re difficult to clean and they can’t be recycled). ***

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the stuff I bought for the past couple of weeks. I’m not doing a big intro today. Here’s what I bought.

2 Models Own polishes for £1 each,
2 Rimmel polishes for 50p each,
3 white Primark polishes for 90p each.

Good Old Hand Cream for £1,
Primark Foundation & Contour Stick for £2.50,

Cuticura hand cream for £1.

Patisserie De Bain Sugared Violet Hand & Body Lotion for £1,

Then I swung by my local Poundland again and I bought…
2 Models Own polishes for £1 each,
2 more Maybelline lipglosses for £1 each,
2 Miss Sporty lipliners for 50p each,
4 Manhattan nail polishes for 50p each.

I found an amazing pencil case at B&M Bargains (£3.99), and I picked up 2 giant (!) sticker sheets (2 for £1).

I also swung by THE WORKS and bought…
2 Narwhal notebooks for £2 each,
and a Sloth 2019 Calendar for £1.50.

I went to B&M again the other day, and I picked up more stationery.
I bought… a pack of 4 A4 popper wallets (2 different designs) for £1.49,

a pack of 3 A6 lined notebooks for £1.29,

a super pretty sticky notes set for £2.49,

and this sensationally cute A5 Hanazuki notebook for £2.49.

I’m very happy with what I bought. I spent £44.05 in total for all these goodies! By the way, all these amazing products were bought on the high street! And one more thing, there’s Tokidoki stuff at B&M Bargains – I’ve seen backpacks and pencil cases which would also work as cosmetic bags! I’m tempted…

Patisserie De Bain Cranberries & Cream Bath & Shower Crème and Hand & Body Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about Patisserie De Bain’s Cranberries & Cream Bath & Shower Cream and Hand & Body Lotion. I wouldn’t have chosen these products for myself, but I received them as a gift with purchase. And here’s what I think. 🙂
patisserie-de-bain-cranberries-cream-4
Patisserie De Bain’s Cranberries & Cream Bath & Shower Cream is quite alright. It lathers up well, and whilst it’s a bit drying, I think the fragrance is surprisingly well done. It’s too sweet for my taste, but I’d describe it as a mix of cranberries, custard and pink champagne. Again, not really my kind of fragrance, but if you like sweet fragrances in shower gels, I’d recommend this shower gel.

Patisserie De Bain’s Cranberries & Cream Hand & Body Lotion isn’t great because they didn’t get the fragrance right. I’d describe it as a sickly sweet mess. This one will be used as a foot cream!

If you’re interested, you can purchase Patisserie De Bain products through Rose & Co. England. Superdrug stocks a few of their products as well. Patisserie De Bain’s Cranberries & Cream Bath & Shower Cream and Hand & Body Lotion are available as 200ml each.

Pâtisserie De Bain – Crème Pâtissière Shower Gel & Body Souffle

Hi there! Today’s post is about a body care combo that I received as a gift (a gift with purchase that is…) a little while ago – Pâtisserie De Bain Crème Pâtissière Shower Gel and Body Souffle. These products sound delicious, don’t they?
patissere-de-bain-creme-patissiere-2
Pâtisserie De Bain Crème Pâtissière Shower Gel is alright. It doesn’t feel drying. However, the shower gel doesn’t lather up properly. I think this is rather strange if you consider that the 2nd ingredient is SLS… Anyway, I’m satisfied that this shower gel cleanses my skin well, so I have no reason to complain.

Pâtisserie De Bain Crème Pâtissière Body Souffle is a light moisturiser that goes on easily and doesn’t feel greasy. I’m quite happy with the body souffle. However, I don’t think it would be hydrating enough for people with dry skin.
patisserie-de-bain-creme-patissiere-1
What about the fragrance? Well, I’ve smelled it before. This fragrance and Baylis & Harding’s Vanilla Sugar Donut fragrance are one and the same! I think that both ‘vanilla sugar donut’ and ‘crème pâtissière’ are suitable names to describe the fragrance.

Whilst I think that these products smell nice and pleasant, I wouldn’t repurchase them because they’re simply not my favourites. If you’re interested, the gift set (which contains a 175ml shower gel, a 175ml body souffle, and a body puff) is £9.99 at Rose & Co. England.

Have you tried these products? Or would you like to try them? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

30+ New Products – Superdrug, Asda & Bargain Store Haul!

Hi there! I tried my best not to buy more stuff, but I caved. And then I caved again. I bought a lot of stuff in the past three or four weeks… So let’s take a look at the new products that moved in with me.
haul-14
Item number 1 is this Flutter Hand Cream – Flutter is a Superdrug brand that always makes an appearance around Christmas. This hand cream was £1. Then there’s this Sweet Snuggles Hand Lotion Set – this set consists of a small hand cream and a nail file. I think it’s cute. And it was £1 only.

I also bought 3 Superdrug Facial Konjac Sponges. There was a 3 for 2 offer, each sponge was £1.99, and thanks to the offer I paid £3.98 in total. Nivea’s Firming Body Lotion was on a better than half price promotion so I paid £2.55 instead of £5.25. And I’m looking forward to trying my new B. Refine Exfoliating Cleanser which was half price as well – it was £2.69 instead of £5.49.
haul-15
I also bought new hair care – L’Oréal Nutri-Gloss Crystal Shampoo & Conditioner. These were on a half price offer – £1.99 each instead of £3.99. I also bought two more eyeshadow brushes. These are Superdrug own-brand, they were 99p each.
haul-16
I couldn’t resist when I saw this exclusive edition Olay Refreshing Face Wash. It was £1.45 instead of £2.99. And I found this incredibly cute My Little Pony Nail Polish Trio for £2.99 at B&M Bargains. This set contains 2 toe separators and three nail polishes (pink – Pinkie Pie, lilac – Rarity, glitter – Rainbow Dash). Awesome stuff!
haul-17
I liked Superdrug’s cocoa butter & vanilla body butter, so I wanted to give Superdrug’s Cocoa Butter & Vanilla Body Scub a try too. This scrub was £2.45 (half price offer). I also bought two more Superdrug Clearly Youthful Glycolic Peel-Off Mask tubes. They’re £4.89 each, but there was a 2 for £5 offer. By the way, this mask is absolutely brilliant. Please check out my review of it!

The Patisserie de Bain set was a freebie. Superdrug gave these sets away as a gift with purchase – all you had to do was buy two skin care products (yes, they included lots of cheap basics – like face wash for £1.50 and the likes – in this offer), and you’d get this Patisserie de Bain set for free.
haul-18
Up next is a lipstick – Models Own Miami Heat£1.24 (clearance). And I couldn’t resist this cute Flutter Lip Balm. It’s strawberry-flavoured and it was £1. The Models Own Nail Polish was £2.49 (clearance) and the shade is called Eggshell Goose. The Max Factor nail polish is from Poundworld, so it was £1. I had to have it because the colour really pops!
haul-19
I was really happy when my local Asda restocked Alberto Balsam products whilst they were still on a £1 promotion. So I got Alberto Balsam Volume Boost Shampoo & Conditioner for £1 each. The Pantene Breakage Defence Hair Strengthening Tonic was £1 at Poundland.
haul-20
Finally I bought a few face masks again. They’re all Montagne Jeunesse masks. I got two Mud Pac and Amore Rose duos for £1 each at Poundland. The Black Seaweed Peel-Off Mask and the Charcoal Masque were 85p each at Asda.
haul-21
As I love Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant collection, I bought another product – a serum & moisturiser. This product was on a half price promotion, so I paid £2.94 only. Superdrug also had a new version of the Leafy & Lovely hand cream. It’s probably the same as before – but it was £1 only, so I thought I should have it. Superdrug’s Vitamin E Toning Facial Mist cost me £2.24 only. Superdrug’s Sweet Snuggles gift set was £3.50.
haul-22
I also bought 2 Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Masks. They were on special for 99p each. And I got 2 tubs of Superdrug’s Vitamin E Intensive All Over Body Cream for £2.61 each. Superdrug’s Vitamin E Leave-On Moisture Mask was £2.24. And Superdrug’s Naturally Radiant Night Cream was also on special for £2.95. I love this night cream. This one’s a back-up! And the last item is a Sweet Snuggles lip balm set which I got for £1. I loved last year’s lip balms, and I’m sure this year’s lip balms are just as excellent.

So this is what I bought over the last few weeks. I know it’s more stuff that I didn’t really need, but I’m still happy that I stocked up on products that were on a promotion. 🙂 Have you tried any of these products – or would you like to try any of them? Feel free to let me know what you think. 🙂
