Lip Balm Favourites – Vaseline Lip Therpay + SPF 15, I Love… Choca Mocha Lala Moisturizing Lip Balm

Hi there! Today’s short post is about 2 lip balms that I’ve been using for the past few weeks – Vaseline Lip Therpay + SPF 15 and I Love… Choca Mocha Lala Moisturizing Lip Balm. I think these 2 lip balms are amazing, and here’s why.

Vaseline Lip Therpay + SPF 15 is a classic. It has the most wonderful formula. The lip balm just glides on, and it makes my lips feel hydrated and cared for. The yummy cocoa flavour is an added bonus. A great lip balm!

I Love… Choca Mocha Lala Moisturizing Lip Balm was a lovely surprise. I’ve had this lip balm in my stash for a little while, and I’ve never tried it until a few weeks ago. I fell in love instantly because this lip balm is very hydrating and it has the most amazing flavour – it comes close to Kinder chocolate! Another great lip balm!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend both these lip balms. The price for each item will depend on where you shop, but I found them both at Poundland!

Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream. This hand cream with micro droplets of Vaseline jellyâ„¢ and keratin promises 10 times stronger nails in 2 weeks! Sounds promising!

I’ve been using this hand cream 2-3 times per day for the past month, and I haven’t noticed any changes in my nails. Yes, I do wear nail polish (I wouldn’t care about having strong or stronger nails if I didn’t paint them). But I always leave a polish-free gap between the cuticles and where I start painting my nails. And I always make an effort to massage whatever hand cream I’m using into my cuticles and around my nails and fingertips. Unfortunately, this hand cream didn’t improve the strength of my nails at all.

I also don’t love the scent of this hand cream. It’s not bad, but it’s too pink, too floral and too strong for me. I would have preferred a lighter scent. Also, the formula is more like a runny lotion. I would have preferred a cream or a jelly-type of formula.

All in all, this is a decent hand moisturiser, and I have no reason to complain really. I only paid £1 (Poundland) for a big 200ml bottle which will last me for a while!

If you’re interested, Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream is available as a 75ml tube and a 200ml bottle. Prices will vary greatly between £1 and about £5!

Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion.

This body lotion is usually over £3, so I just had to have it when I saw it for £1 at Poundland!

This body lotion is aimed at people with very dry skin. It promises to heal dry and rough skin within 5 days and to moisturise even the most stubborn dry patches. The lotion also claims to absorb fast and to be gentle on sensitive skin.

I’ve used this body lotion for a few days, and I can already tell that it’s amazing for my very dry and moody skin. The lotion absorbs in no time, it’s definitely not greasy at all, but it makes my skin feel deeply nourished.

I would have preferred a scented product, but I cannot fault this body lotion at all.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this body lotion to other people with very dry and/or moody skin. Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair Fragrance-Free Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml and 400ml. Prices vary quite a bit, and there’s often a Half Price or Buy 1 Get 1 Free offer somewhere!

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion

Vaseline Aloe LotionHi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion.

This body lotion promises to heal and soothe dry skin.

I’ve been using it on and off for just over a week now, and I like it a lot!

I agree that this body lotion feels healing and soothing. I have very dry skin, and I’m happy with how this body lotion makes my skin feel.

The formula is more of a gel cream that a lotion. It reminds me of Herbal Essences’ classic conditioner! And I’m also happy with the aloe fragrance. It’s green and refreshing. Nice!

Vaseline Intensive Care Aloe Soothe Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml. I only paid £1 (Poundland), although the usual drugtore price is about £2.79.

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil Gel

Vaseline Cocoa Oil GelHi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil Gel.

This body gel promises to nourish skin and to leave skin with a healthy looking glow.

I’ve been using this product for 2 weeks now. Whilst I think that this isn’t the most suitable moisturiser for this time of year, I’m still very happy with it.

I’ve tried this oil gel on dry and on damp skin. I prefer to use it on dry skin – but it works well either way.

The cocoa fragrance is simply amazing. It smells like… paradise! Wow!

I also agree that this oil gel makes my skin glow – so what’s not to love?

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Body Oil Gel is available as 200ml for about £5.79. I paid £2.59 (better than half price offer).

Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about Vaseline’s Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion.

I’ve been using this body lotion for a few weeks now (it’s near empty), and I just love it!

The lotion is easy to spread, and it’s absorbed in no time. I love the non-greasy formula. It’s perfect for warmer days when you don’t want to use a heavy body butter.

I’ve previously only used Vaseline’s cocoa body lotion, and I actually regret not giving this one a try sooner.

I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this body lotion. I will buy it again for sure!

Vaseline’s Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml and 400ml. I paid £1 for the 200ml bottle.

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac

Hi there! Today’s post is about a product I picked up for £1Vaseline‘s Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac. This hand cream promises to leave hands deeply moisturised and protected from germs. So it’s a 2 in 1 product. 🙂

I’ve been using this hand cream for a few days now, and I’m impressed. Whilst this hand cream is non-greasy, it moisturises my hands very well. I love the formula! It feels light, it makes my hands feel soft, and it’s not sticky at all, not even for a minute.

I’d also like to mention that this hand cream smells like pears – the fragrance is pleasant and very subtle!

I think this is a great hand cream! I can’t comment on whether it protects my hands from germs, but I’m happy with everything else!

Vaseline‘s Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac is available as 75ml.

Poundland & Bargain Store Beauty Haul

Hi there! When I went to back to Poundland the other day, I felt like I hit the jackpot. I found Nails Inc. polishes for £1 each! I got Old Bond Street, Hampstead Gardens, Royal Arcade, Gatwick and Chelsea.

Not too long ago Nails Inc. came up with new bottle designs – so the ‘old’ bottles have to go now. Nails Inc. polishes are usually more than £10 each (I’d never spend that much money on a mediocre polish). So thank you, Nails Inc., for redoing your bottle design and for letting people buy your old polishes for less than 10% of the normal price! 🙂

I also bought more hand cream (which I don’t really need more of at the moment) and a small eyeshadow trio. I got Vaseline’s Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac. And I picked up a Collection Work The Colour Eyeshadow Trio in 2 Naughty n Nude. And I couldn’t resist when I saw another promising hand cream – I Love… Raspberry & Blackberry Hand Cream. Another £3 (in total) well spent at Poundland.
Sale08
I’ve never used any TRESemmé products (commitment issues – their bottles are too big). But I picked up a regular-sized Renewal Hair & Scalp Deep Conditioning Masque. I’m looking forward to trying it! And I also bought a Pantene Pro-V Nutri-Plus Youth Protect Rejuvenating Intensive Conditioner. So that’s two more products for £2 in total.
Sale07
Last but not least – I also went to B&M Bargains. Generally I prefer Home Bargains (they’re cheaper), but every now and then I swing by the local B&M to see what they’ve got. I picked up a limited edition shower gel and two Gliss hair care products which I haven’t had before. Original Source’s Hibiscus & Pomegranate Tea Shower sounds really lush. And I’ll soon find out how Gliss’ Satin Relax Shampoo & Conditioner pan out. I spent £3 in total for these three products.
Sale09
I’m super happy with the bargains. 🙂 I spent £13 in total and I got so many products! My husband isn’t happy that our toiletries stash is growing again (yeah, I’m working on it…), but he appreciates that we’ll never run out of toiletries and that everything in our stash was half price or less. 🙂

Did you pick up any bargains lately? Have you tried any of the products I bought? Feel free to let me know in the comments. And thanks for stopping by!

Poundland & Poundworld Beauty Haul

Hi there! I’ve paid my local Poundland and Poundworld stores a visit the other day. And I found quite a few things I just had to have. Here’s what I bought:

Montagne Jeunesse face masks – I tried a few Montagne Jeunesse masks just recently and I loved them so much that I bought more. I got six mask duos in total – three Mud Pac / Amore Rose duos and three Passion Peel Off / Lemon Zest Peel Off duos. That’s twelve individual masks for £6 in total.

Vaseline Essential Healing Lotion – I’ve never had this one before, so I bought it. The 200ml bottle was £1 only which is really cheap considering the same size is £2.75 at Superdrug’s.
Haul 1
I almost couldn’t believe it when I found two of my favourite facial cleansers, Olay Essentials Smoothing Face Scrub and Olay Essentials Refreshing Face Wash, for £1 each. Normally these products are around £3 each. I bought two face scrubs and two face washes, so I spent £4 in total for these four products which will last me for at least six month (probably longer) – not bad!

Dove Essential Nourishing Hand Cream – I didn’t really need another hand cream, but £1 for a Dove hand cream is a really good deal.
Haul 2
I’m really pleased with what I bought. And I only spent £12 in total for all those goodies. In case you’re wondering, the face masks were from Poundland, everything else was from Poundworld.

Thanks for reading! 🙂

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Non-Greasy Lotion

Vaseline Cocoa RadiantHi there! My local Poundworld had lots of different Vaseline products the other day. And some of them went straight in my basket.

The first product I tried was Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Non-Greasy Lotion.

First of all, this body lotion smells delicious. It has a lovely cocoa/chocolate scent, but it’s not too sweet or too foody. Very nice!

And I love how this body lotion feels on my skin. It’s like I’m wrapped in a cocoon. The only other body lotion (of those I’ve tried in the past couple of months) that did the same was Garnier’s Aloe Vera lotion.

The non-greasy formula is another big plus. I know I get tons of moisture from this body lotion. But it doesn’t make my skin feel sticky.

This body lotion has become a beauty favourite of mine. I’ll definitely keep buying it, and I recommend it without hesitating. 11 stars!

Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Radiant Non-Greasy Lotion is available as 200ml for about £2.79, and 400ml for about £5.49. However, I’ve recently seen (and bought) the 200ml bottle for £1 at Poundworld.
