Imperial Leather SkinKind Refreshing Body Wash, Imperial Leather SkinKind Hydrating Body Wash

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I picked up at Poundland – Imperial Leather SkinKind Refreshing Body Wash with cucumber and aloe vera and Imperial Leather SkinKind Hydrating Body Wash with cotton extract and oat milk.

Imperial Leather SkinKind Refreshing Body Wash with cucumber and aloe vera is not a favourite. Whilst I’m happy to report that this shower gel is gentle on sensitive skin, I don’t care for the insanely boring cucumber and aloe vera fragrance. I’ll squeeze this shower gel into the hand wash dispenser in the kitchen.

Unfortunately, Imperial Leather SkinKind Hydrating Body Wash with cotton extract and oat milk will end up in the hand wash dispenser as well. It’s not a terrible product, but the fragrance is too boring for words…

I won’t repurchase these shower gels, but if you’re interested… Imperial Leather SkinKind Refreshing Body Wash and Imperial Leather SkinKind Hydrating Body Wash are available as 500ml. I paid £1 each.

SpaLife Hydrating Facial Mask

Hi there! I’ve got a skin care for you today – and it’s about this SpaLife Hydrating Facial Mask with collagen, aloe vera leaf juice, volcanic ash, CoQ10, vitamin E, and anise fruit extract (etc). This sheet mask promises to hydrate and renew skin for a glowing complexion. It also claims to have anti-ageing benefits and to reverse years of sun damage.

Using this mask is easy – just cleanse your skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 20 minutes or longer, then massage the remaining essence into the skin. I used 4 of these masks already, and here’s what I think…

This sheet mask is absolutely brilliant! It’s deeply hydrating and nourishing, it makes my skin feel super soft, and whilst I can’t comment on whether it does anything to reverse sun damage, I’m happy to report that this mask soothes angry skin and that it makes my skin look bright and radiant. Truly outstanding stuff!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this face mask. If you have dry skin, this one’s worth checking out! SpaLife Hydrating Facial Masks are available as packs of 6. I paid £4.99 (TK Maxx).

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce & NYC In A Minute 276 Big City Dazzle

Hi there! I’ve got a short and sweet Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce (2 coats). I like this polish a lot. The colour is just wow!

The glitter top coat I used is NYC In A Minute 276 Big City Dazzle, which is an amazingly beautiful micro-glitter mix (red, blue, fuchsia, gold). The photo doesn’t do it justice at all.

I liked this mani a lot. It’s a simple mani, but the dark purple glitter combo looked cute and sparkly!

What colour nail polish are you wearing at the moment?

Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors BB Cream Light

Hi there! Today’s post is about the facial moisturiser that I’ve been using for almost 3 weeks now – Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors BB Cream. I bought the shade “Light“. This product is a moisturising cream mixed with a Max Factor Foundation. It contains niacinamide, vitamins B and E, pro-vitamin B5, as well as SPF 15.

This moisturiser promises 24-hour hydration and an even complexion for a perfect everyday look. Alrighty… read on if you’d like to know if this product is any good.

I like this product, but I don’t love it. First of all, the shade light is way too dark for pale girls. I have to mix it with my pale winter foundation (Max Factor Pan Stik 12 True Beige) because it looks grotesque if I use it with my regular foundation (Max Factor Pan Stik 25 Fair). When blended with my pale winter foundation, it does look good.

I’m happy to report that this BB Cream is very hydrating, and that it plays well with all the makeup products I apply on top of it. So based on this, I have no reason to complain. However, whilst I will finish this product for sure, I won’t repurchase it because it just isn’t the most suitable moisturiser for me.

If you’re interested, Olay Essentials Glow Perfectors BB Cream is available as 50ml. I paid £3.50 (clearance).

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug B. Comforted Camomile Facial Spritz

Hi there! Happy Friday! Today’s post is about Superdrug‘s B. Comforted Camomile Facial Spritz.

This product promises to replenish and to soften skin. It’s aimed at all skin types.

On the back of the spray it says that the product contains a blend of rose, plum, chestnut and camomile, and that it’s suitable for sensitive skin.

I use this product as the first product (that’s after I’ve washed my face in the shower) in my morning skin care routine. Five sprays of this product along with a few drops of serum or facial oil work wonders for me.

I also use the spray in conjunction with my day cream, my foundation and as part of my night time skin care routine.

And, of course, I use it in between too – basically every time I feel that my skin needs a little extra hydration or when I’m bored. 😁

Having said this, this product has a strong fragrance. It’s a strange mix of camomile and marzipan (or something else that’s simillarly sweet).

I would have loved the fragrance as a teenager, but now that I’m in my thirties, I find this kind of scent a bit annoying. Because of this, I won’t repuchase this product (I’ll buy the vitamin version instead).

Superdrug‘s B. Comforted Camomile Facial Spritz is suitable for vegans, and it’s certified cruelty-free (Leaping Bunny). It’s available as 75ml for £8.99. I paid £3.89 when Superdrug ran a Better Than Half Price promotion on B. products.

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 391 Celebrity Bash & Foils

Hi there! Today’s post is about a foil mani I did a little while ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 391 Celebrity Bash (2 easy coats).

I’m not the biggest fan of red nail polish, but this one is lovely – on its own and when used in nail art.

This time I opted for colourful nail foils. Whilst the photo isn’t the greatest, the mani looked very cute in real life.
