Nail Of The Day – Barry M Boy Bye & Stamping With Nicole Diary

Hi there! I hope everyone had a good week so far! 😊 Let me show you a cute mani I did a little while ago…

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 201 (2 coats). I used this polish as a dusty lavender base underneath Barry M Boy Bye (1 coat). I didn’t want to waste the pretty colour-shifting polish by applying multiple coats.

And I double-stamped. I used Rimmel 60 Seconds 805 Grey Matter for the light grey circles and stars, and Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto for the black images. The 2 stamping plates I used are Nicole Diary 062 (ring and index fingers) and 067 (pinkies, middle fingers, thumbs).

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 229 Soft Hydrangea, Rimmel 60 Seconds 323 Don’t Be Shy, Essie Rock At The Top & Nail Decals

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 229 Soft Hydrangea (middle fingers, 2 coats) and Rimmel 60 Seconds 323 Don’t Be Shy (ring fingers, 2 coats).

I used floral nail decals on my pinkies, index fingers and thumbs. I could have used a clear polish to seal the decals, but I went for a glitter top coat = Essie Rock At The Top.

I really liked this mani. The pink and the fuchsia nail colours looked nice together, and the decals and the glitter topper looked cute together as well. I can’t wait to do another mani using water decals! 🙂

Have you ever tried water decals for your mani? What colour nail polish are you wearing at the moment. Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 201 & Stamping With Pueen 107

Hi there! Here’s another Nail Of The Day post. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 201 (2 coats). This is a great little polish. I was impressed with the quality because the polish dried quickly and it was opaque in 2 easy coats. In addition, I really like the unusual colour!

For the stamping I used a random black nail polish (can’t remember which one, but it wasn’t one of the usual suspects) and Pueen‘s 107 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Make Your Day stamping plate collection).

The images weren’t perfect, but I did like the mani! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 229 Soft Hydrangea & Stamping With Pueen 51

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 229 Soft Hydrangea (2 coats). I love this colour. It’s stunningly beautiful!

I also decided to stamp! I used Pueen‘s 51 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Stamping Buffet collection) and Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize.

I really liked this mani. I love the bright and powerful base colour, and I think the golden images add to the summery feel of this mani.

What nail colour are you wearing right now? Feel free to get in touch! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio Acid Drop & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 006 Acid Drop (2 coats).

I like this polish! The cucumber shade looks fresh (great for spring and summer manis), and I like the micro-shimmer.

I also think this is a good polish. It dries quickly and it’s perfect in 2 coats – I didn’t expect this because of the light colour, but I’m not complaining. 😉

I stamped with Rimmel Salon Pro 361 Acid House. And the stamping plate I used is Pueen‘s 74 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection.

I think this mani looks alright. The images on the index and ring fingers didn’t stamp perfectly (it’s the same on my left hand). But all in all, I think this is a nice little mani that’s perfect to welcome spring!

What do you think of green manis? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy & Stamping With Pueen 77 / A-Z Nail Art Challenge L – Love

Hi there! Today’s post is about my Valentine’s Day mani. Quite late, huh?

Anyhoo… for this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy (2 coats).

The stamping plate I used is Pueen‘s 77 plate (which is part of Pueen‘s Buffet Leisure collection).

I decided to double-stamp, and I used 2 non-stamping polishes for this – Essence Colour & Go 140 Go Bold (gold) and NYC In A Minute 230 Penn Station (red).

I think this mani was alright. It was nothing special, but it looked cute. And I really liked the double-stamping effect!

This mani goes in the A-Z Nail Art Challenge folder. I’ll file it under LLove! How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Nail Art Challenge #30 Inspired By A Tutorial

Hi there! Today’s post is about another mani I did for the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. This mani is for challenge #30 Inspired By A Tutorial.

I was looking for cute and summery mani ideas online – and I found an easy looking tutorial for melon nails.

I tried to recreate those melon nails but, of course, I failed miserably. So I came up with a much easier melon mani (well, sort of).

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy (pinky, ring and middle fingers, 2 coats) and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 50 In Record Lime (index fingers, thumbs, 2 coats).

I applied loose black glitter hexagons (the only black glitter I have) to my middle fingers, and I top-coated all my nails with Orly Love Each Other.

I think this mani turned out alright. I have zero (nail) art skills, I can’t even draw a straight line. However, I’m proud of myself for coming up with a simple ‘solution’. So whilst the mani didn’t turn out the way I hoped, I was inspired by a tutorial. So somehow I actually nailed this challenge! Now wait for my interpretation of kiwi nails! 😀

Nail Of The Day – Nail Art Challenge #10 Gradient Nails

Hi there! If you read my blog you probably know that I’m doing the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge.

I have a few more manis to do, but today’s mani, my entry for challenge #10 Gradient Nails, gets me a little closer to the finish line.

I used these nail colours:
Astor Fashion Studio 002 Cotton Candy (pinky),
Revlon Colorstay 050 Passionate Pink (ring finger),
L’Oréal Color Riche 210 Shocking Pink (middle finger),
L’Oréal Color Riche 211 Opulent Pink (index finger, thumb),
Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 235 Supernova (glitter topper).

I really like this mani. I’m satisfied that I’ve chosen the right nail colours (which isn’t as easy as you might think) and the right glitter topper. What do you think? Feel free to let me know. And thanks for stopping by! I appreciate it!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 138 & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! Today’s post is about a new version of a mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 138. I don’t like this base colour, but the bottle is almost empty (!), so I’m trying to finish it. However, I might have a backup…

Anyhoo… today I tried to do something new – double stamping. So I stamped 2 layers of colour onto my base colour. I used Rimmel 60 Seconds 820 Hot Black To Go and Revlon Parfumerie Beachy.

The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 74 plate which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure stamping collection.

I think the double stamping effect is very subtle – that’s because Beachy is a rather subtle golden shade. However, I’m not disappointed. I think this double-stamped mani turned out quite alright for a first attempt. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 138 & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! Today’s post is another Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 138. Since orange is one of my least favourite nail colours, I decided to stamp.

I used Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin as my stamping polish.

The images are from Pueen’s 74 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection).

If you’d like to know more about stamping, I’ve written an entire tutorial which covers everything I wish I had known when I started stamping. 🙂

Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for reading!
