Nail Of The Day – Primark PS… Nail Polish Marshmallow, China Glaze Red Satin, Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green & Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 520 Rosey Shooter

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark PS… Nail Polish Marshmallow (pinkies), China Glaze Red Satin (ring and middle fingers), and Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green (index fingers and thumbs).

The glitter topper I used on my pinkies is Sally Hansen Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear 520 Rosey Shooter.

I really like this mani! But I’ve realised that I need a better red glitter topper!

Why did I do this mani? Well, I’m a total tennis nut. And Belarus has been my favourite Fed Cup team for quite some time now.

Why is that? Well, over the past 2 years the Belarusian fed cup players have shown that they’re true champions. The players have given their all, and they’ve played well above their respective rankings to despatch higher ranked players on a number of occasions. How could anyone not root for them?! Well, I certainly hope they win their tie this weekend!

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nail Ideas / China Glaze Red Satin, Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green & Orly Hair Band / A-Z Nail Art Challenge J – Joy To The World

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today!

For this Christmas-themed mani I painted my nails with China Glaze Red Satin (ring and middle fingers, thumbs) and Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green (ring and index fingers).

I love these 2 polishes because the colours are 100% christmassey, and the polishes are of great quality. Aesome stuff!

The top coat is Orly Hair Band (1 coat) which is my favourite gold glitter top coat.

It’s packed with glitter, it dries quickly and the glitter lays flat which means that my nails feel super smooth.

I’m very happy with this mani! I do this mani every year, and I still love the red+green+gold look. I’ve also decided to make this mani part of the A-Z Nail Art Challenge. I’ll file it under J – Joy To The World. 🙂 How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Underwater Mani – Featuring Rimmel, Essence, Astor, Beauty UK & Sugar Bubbles

Sugar BubblesHi there! I loved my last underwater mani so much that I did another one.

This time I thought I’d use my newest glitter polish – which reminded me very much of mermaids – and my Sugar Bubbles SB 031 stamping plate.

I used these polishes:
Rimmel 60 Seconds 844 Out Of The Blue (base colour, pinky).
Beauty UK White (base colour, ring and middle fingers).
Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green (base colour, index finger and thumb).
Essence Nail Art Stampy Polish in White (stamped image on pinky, index finger, thumb).
Rimmel Love Glitter 034 A Crush On You (glitter topper ring and middle fingers).

So here it is – my underwater mani! I think it turned out great. What do you think?

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nails

Christmas maniHi there! Christmas is just a few days away, so I’ve done another festive mani the other day. I really liked Astor’s Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green when I used it for my last christmas mani.

This time I teamed up the pretty green polish with Beauty UK’s White (2 coats) and a no-name iridescent white shimmer polish (1 one coat) which did a great job a few weeks ago.

I found this tree image on Pueen’s 42 plate (Love Elements set). I thought it’s really perfect for this christmas-themed mani.

The trees are a bit funny. This is because the image was quite small, and I had to improvise. My nails have also grown quite long, and my stamper no longer covers the entire nail… I think I need a bigger stamper!

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nails

Christmas maniHi there! I couldn’t decide between green or red nails the other day. So I went for both! The result is this easy Christmas mani.

I chose China Glaze With Love and Astor Lacque Deluxe 880 Forest Green as my base colours.

With Love is the ultimate Christmas red. And Forest Green is a great Christmas tree green.

The next step was finding the perfect gold glitter topper – which is always easier said than done. Especially, when you have dozens of glitter toppers!

Eventually I chose Essie As Gold As It Gets. I’m happy with this topper because it looks like gold dust and it’s perfectly christmassey!
