Hi there! I bought these two Barry M Eyeshadows a while back. And now I’ve finally gotten around to try them. 🙂 The two shades that were in the duo pack are 4 (purple) and 6 (green).
Both colours look very nice in their pans. However, they come out much paler on my eyelids. The purple shade isn’t a proper purple, but more of a purple-to-grey shifting colour. It’s not my favourite. The green eyeshadow is quite alright. It’s nicely pigmented and it has a slight shimmer. It’s nothing special, but I like it!
In regards to lasting power and fallout I have no reason to complain. These eyeshadows last all day on my eyelids, and I haven’t noticed much fallout. In terms of quality, I think these eyeshadows are similar to Rimmel eyeshadows – even though these two Barry M eyeshadow are a little paler than I expected.
These two eyeshadows are available as duo pack for £1 (Poundland and Poundworld). Neutral colours are also available now! Have you picked up any of the Barry M eyeshadow duos at the Poundstores? If so, I’d love to hear what you think. In any event, thanks for stopping by. I appreciate it! 🙂

Hi there! You know that a true bargain hunter never sleeps. Well, at least not when out and about. 😉 So you won’t be surprised to read that I’ve gotten my hands on a few bargains this month. And I didn’t buy any toiletries at all which is… something new! But let me show you what I did buy.
I bought a Maybelline Color Show nail polish (£1) because I liked the colour, a Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm (£1) – which I’ve already reviewed, a Barry M Duo Eyeshadow Pack (£1), and 3 I Love… Tinted Moisture Balms (£1 each). That’s £6 in total for these 7 products!
I also bought 9 more face masks – 1 Montagne Jeunesse Super Fruit Mud mask (£1), 2 Montagne Jeunesse Mud Pac + Amore Rose mask duos (£1 each), 2 Superdrug Orange & Black Lava masks and 4 Superdrug Superfruits Exfoliating masks. Superdrug’s masks are 99p each – but they were on a 3 for 2 promotion. That’s £6.98 in total for these 11 masks.
In regards to non-beauty items, I picked up a My Little Pony Calendar (£1) at one of the Poundstores. And I found My Little Pony PEZ Dispensers at Superdrug. They were £1.50 each. So I spent £5.50 in total for these non-beauty cuties.
What do you think of my little haul? I’m happy because I didn’t go overboard. I’ve been a good girl! Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for reading!

Hi there! If you read my blog, and if you remember this post – you know I’d like to get away from being a beauty and toiletries hoarder. However, I simply can’t resist a bargain when I see one. Now let’s have a look at the new stuff that’s going to be stashed away somewhere at my place…
I found these NSPA shower gels at Home Bargains – for 79p each. These are 500ml and they’re normally £3 at Asda. I think these ones are going to be discontinued. 😦 By the way, all NSPA products are made in the UK.
Home Bargains also had a few nice and cheap body mists. From left to right: Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Sensual Argan & Marula – 150ml, Anovia Fragranced Body Mist With Fruit Extracts Light & Refreshing Passion Fruit & Pineapple – 150ml, Dolly’s Mixtures Peach Melba ‘Just Peachy’ Body Mist – 100ml, NSPA Luscious Fresh Clementine Body Mist – 200ml.
The Dolly’s Mixtures Body Mist was 49p (usually £2 at Asda), the other three body mists were 79p each. I’ve never seen the brand Anovia anywhere before today, so I can’t comment on what their products cost elsewhere, but the NSPA fragrances are usually £3 at Asda. Oh, and all these body mists were made in the UK!
Up next we’ve got Alberto Balsam Stunning Shine shampoo & conditioner. They’re 300ml each and they were £1 each (special offer) at Asda. The next item is NSPA’s Cherry Body Scrub – also from Home Bargains. The 225ml scrub set me back 79p (instead of £3 at Asda). The eyeshadow brush is from Poundworld – of course it was £1.
And here’s the actual beauty stuff – 2 Barry M eyeshadows (£1 for the pack of 2), 2 Sally Hansen nail polishes, 2 Max Factor eyeshadows, 2 Max Factor nail polishes, 2 L’Oréal nail polishes and 1 Rimmel nail polish which is a backup. Some of these products came from Poundland, some from Poundworld. All in all I paid £10 in total for all these eyeshadows and nail polishes.
Yes, I stocked up on stuff I didn’t really need. But everything was so cheap. In fact I only paid £19.02 for everything! I live for bargains, you know. Bargain hunting might actually be ma raison d’être. 🙂 Have you done any shopping recently? Any hauls you’d like to tell me about? Feel free to let me know in the comments. And thanks for reading!
