Palmolive Gourmet Chocolate Passion Body Butter Shower Cream, Palmolive Gourmet Vanilla Pleasure Body Butter Shower Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels which I started to use about 2 weeks ago – Palmolive Gourmet Chocolate Passion Body Butter Shower Cream and Palmolive Gourmet Vanilla Pleasure Body Butter Shower Cream. Onto the reviews!

Palmolive Gourmet Chocolate Passion Body Butter Shower Cream is quite likely the most delicious and authentic smelling chocolate shower product I’ve ever used. It’s outstanding! I love the formula too – non-drying, maybe even slightly hydrating. I love this shower gel!

Palmolive Gourmet Vanilla Pleasure Body Butter Shower Cream is nice and pleasant, but it’s not the most special shower gel. The formula is amazing (same as the chocolate shower gel), but the vanilla fragrance isn’t spectacular. My husband likes this one, and I’m happy for him to finish it.

If you’re interested, Palmolive Gourmet Chocolate Passion Body Butter Shower Cream and Palmolive Gourmet Vanilla Pleasure Body Butter Shower Cream are available as 250ml each. I paid £1 each (special offer at Asda, I believe).

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream

Hi there! Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream.

This shower cream promises a rich lather that gently cleanses the skin without drying it out. It also claims to leave skin feeling softer.

I’ve been using this shower gel on and off for 3 weeks now, and I’m happy to report that I’m enjoying it.

The fragrance could be stronger – it’s Superdrug’s iconic Vitamin E fragrance after all. But apart from this, I have no reason to complain.

This shower cream feels amazing on my skin, and I can confirm that it’s not drying at all. Great stuff!

Now I wouldn’t say that this shower cream is actually moisturising, but I do feel comfortable skipping my regular body lotion or cream every once in a while when I use this shower cream.

Based on my experience, I would recommend this shower cream. I know I’ll buy it again, and I’m very interested in trying the other fragrances from this line!

Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Original Moisturising Shower Cream is available as 250ml for £2.29. I think I paid £1.20 each (half price offer), but Superdrug also does Buy One Get One Free every now and then on these products. Also – this product is suitable for vegans, and it’s certified cruelty-free as it carries the Leaping Bunny logo!

Imperial Leather Wild Thing Funky Fruits & Safari Sunset Icons Shower Gel, Imperial Leather Shake Your Bambootay Luscious Bamboo With A Fruity Twist Icons Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I found at my local Superdrug store – Imperial Leather Wild Thing Funky Fruits & Safari Sunset Icons Shower Gel and Imperial Leather Shake Your Bambootay Luscious Bamboo With A Fruity Twist Icons Shower Gel. I’ve previously had 2 shower gels from Imperial Leather’s Icon range, and I wanted to give these shower gels a try too.

Imperial Leather Wild Thing Funky Fruits & Safari Sunset Icons Shower Gel is lovely! It smells of passion fruit and mango, and I love the yellow, sunny and happy fragrance. My husband likes it too! The formula is gentle on the skin, and I think this is one of the nicest shower gels I’ve used over the past 6 (or so) months.

Imperial Leather Shake Your Bambootay Luscious Bamboo With A Fruity Twist Icons Shower Gel doesn’t smell of bamboo. The fragrance reminds me of some sort of sweet or candy from my childhood mixed with pineapple. I can’t describe the scent, but it smells warm and simply lovely (and it doesn’t smell overly sweet or sugary). Oh, and the pole-dancing pandas on the bottle are super fun too!

Imperial Leather Wild Thing Funky Fruits & Safari Sunset Icons Shower Gel and Imperial Leather Shake Your Bambootay Luscious Bamboo With A Fruity Twist Icons Shower Gel are available as 250ml. I paid 99p each (half price offer at Superdrug).

Boots Live + Be Awakening Glow Shower Cream, Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Bath Soak

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 bath and body products which I’ve been using since December – Boots Live + Be Awakening Glow Shower Cream and Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Bath Soak. According to Boots, all the products in their Live + Be collection are suitable for vegans.

Let’s start with Boots Live + Be Awakening Glow Shower Cream with mandarin, yuzu, mimosa and almond. This shower cream is meant to wake you up gently, and I would agree that it does what it says. The formula is super gentle, and the cute fragrance is best described as yellow and yoghurty!

Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Bath Soak with rosewood, peony, lily of the valley and amber is meant to make you feel positive and “connected”. I think the airy rose fragrance is very nice and relaxing, so I guess you can say that it makes you feel positive. I am certainly enjoying this product!

Boots Live + Be Awakening Glow Shower Cream and Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Bath Soak are available as 400ml each. I paid £1.25 for the shower cream, and £1.50 for the bath soak.

Nivea Love Fun Times Pink Grapefruit Caring Shower Gel, Nivea Love Splash Aquatic Caring Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I picked up from Poundland – Nivea Love Fun Times Pink Grapefruit Caring Shower Gel and Nivea Love Splash Aquatic Caring Shower Gel. I’ve given them a try, and here’s what I think.

I love all things grapefruit, so I was looking forward to try Nivea Love Fun Times Pink Grapefruit Caring Shower Gel. However, this shower gel has a random pink scent (more floral than citrusy), so it was not what I wanted, and I wouldn’t buy it again. On a positive note, the shower gel felt good on my skin.

Onto Nivea Love Splash Aquatic Caring Shower Gel! This shower gel is too masculine for me. It has a strong and manly marine fragrance (although this one has a touch of citrus – my guess is bergamot). My husband enjoys this shower gel, and I’m happy for him to finish it.

Nivea Love Fun Times Pink Grapefruit Caring Shower Gel and Nivea Love Splash Aquatic Caring Shower Gel are avaiable as 250ml each. I paid £1 each (Poundland).

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel, NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels I picked up at my local Asda – NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel and NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel. I love oranges, grapefruits, green tea and aloe, so I thought these would be perfect for me. Here’s what I think:

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel is disappointing. It’s like a really bad orange soda. I can’t imagine anyone would enjoy this odd fragrance in a shower gel. I think this is another shower gel that will end up as hand wash.

NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel is nice. It smells green and refreshing with a hint of sweetness. I’m glad I bought this one. I know I’ll enjoy it over the coming weeks.

NSPA Grapefruit & Orange Bath & Shower Gel and NSPA Green Tea & Aloe Vera Bath & Shower Gel are available as 400ml each for £3 each. I paid £1.50 each (half price offer).

Battle Of The Peachy Shower Gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel vs. NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about two peachy shower gels – Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel.

Let’s start with this Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel which was a free gift with purchase. Unfortunately, I didn’t like this shower gel at all. It smelled terribly cheap and chemical. This one ended up in the hand wash dispenser in the guest bathroom.
yr-peach-shower-nspa-peach-shower
NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is alright but nothing special. This shower gel smells more of peach skin than the actual fruit. I’ll keep using it for a few more days, but I’m sure that this shower gel will end up as hand wash too.

Whilst NSPA’s shower gel is much better than Yves Rocher’s attempt at a peach shower gel, I don’t care for either product.

Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Yellow Peach Shower Gel is available as 400ml, and NSPA Deliciously Soft And Sweet Peach Shower & Bath Gel is available as 500ml.

Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Pineapple & Lemon Zest, Raspberry & Rose Water

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels that I’ve been using on and off since August – Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Pineapple & Lemon Zest and Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Raspberry & Rose Water. These shower gels contain an antioxidant and vitamin blend, and they promise to hydrate skin.

Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Pineapple & Lemon Zest smells like a typical yellow shower gel. It has a fresh, fruity and sunny fragrance. The mildly hydrating effect is great too. Definitely a nice shower gel!

Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Raspberry & Rose Water is really lovely too. It smells like a mix of raspberry, rose and mint. I’m surprised there is no mint in the name of the shower gel. I think it’s the mint note that gives this otherwise pink smelling shower gel a refreshing green nuance.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these shower gels. Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Pineapple & Lemon Zest and Original Source Hydrating Water Infusions Raspberry & Rose Water are available as 250ml each. I paid £1 each.

Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt

Hi there! Today’s post is about these bath salts which I picked up at my local B&M Bargains store – Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt. On the pack it says that these bath salts are naturally cleansing and that they contain over 80 minerals. They also claim to leave skin smooth, radiant and healthy looking.

I’ve given these bath salts a try, and I like them. I don’t think they made my skin look any different, but they made my skin feel cleansed, smooth and soft. I’ll continue to use them regularly, and I’ve already purchased 2 more large bags!

Westlab Cleansing Himalayan Salt bath salts are available as 1kg (fine or coarse grain) for £5.99. I got mine for £2 at B&M Bargains!

I Love… Juicy Watermelon Revitalizing Shower Gel & Palmolive Naturals Pomegranate Shower Gel

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels – I Love… Juicy Watermelon Revitalizing Shower Gel and Palmolive Naturals Pomegranate Shower Gel. These are super big bottles. I’m trying not to buy too many mega sizes and back-ups anymore, but these shower gels looked so tempting 😍 that I couldn’t resist. Onto the reviews!

I Love… Juicy Watermelon Revitalizing Shower Gel is nice. It feels cleansing (definitely suitable for your post-gym shower), but it’s not drying at all – this is great! The watermelon fragrance is not bad, but I can see it getting old rather quickly. I’ll continue to use this shower gel in the shower. But I think I’ll end up squeezing a lot of it into a hand wash dispenser.

Palmolive Naturals Pomegranate Shower Gel with its vegan and 96% bio-degradable formula is lovely. It smells of juicy pomegranate seeds with a touch of lemon juice. It’s fruity and refreshing but not overly sweet. This shower gel is gentle on the skin too, so what’s not to like?

I Love… Juicy Watermelon Revitalizing Shower Gel is available as 750ml. I paid £1.99 at B&M Bargains. Palmolive Naturals Pomegranate Shower Gel is available as 500ml. I paid £1.49 at Savers.
