Simple Rich Moisture Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Simple Rich Moisture Sheet Mask. This sheet mask claims to be the “perfect antidote to dry city skin”. It contains a small number of botanical extracts which promise to “infuse active ingredients into the skin”.

This sheet mask is supposed to be used post-cleansing. Leave it on for 15 minutes, then massage the leftover essence into your skin…

I’ve given this mask a try, and I’m satisfied that it delivers on its promise. The essence is rich and hydrating without feeling heavy or being sticky. I’m happy with the fit of the mask too! All in all, I’d recommend this mask, and I know I’ll buy it again!

Simple Rich Moisture Sheet Mask is available as a 21ml single-use face mask. I paid £1.49 (B&M Bargains).

Nail Of The Day – Sinful Colors Berry Charm & Stamping With MoYou Nails 452

Hi there! Today’s post is about a christmassey mani I did last week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Sinful Colors Berry Charm (2 coats). This is a great polish that’s bursting with pigment and dries reasonably quickly, and the brush and the formula are easy to work with.

For the images I used my MoYou Nails 452 stamping plate. MoYou Nails is NOT MoYou London. They used to be the same company, but that was a long time ago. MoYou Nails has much, much better customer service!

The polish I stamped with is Revlon Brilliant Strength 110 Hypnotize.

Rightguard Shower + Oils Pink Jasmine Shower Gel & Rightguard Shower + Elixir Black Orchid Shower Cream

Hi there! Happy Friday! Today’s post is about 2 shower gels which I’m using at the moment – Rightguard Shower + Oils Pink Jasmine Shower Gel and Rightguard Shower + Elixir Black Orchid Shower Cream.

Rightguard Shower + Oils Pink Jasmine Shower Gel is quite nice. The fresh floral fragrance isn’t very exciting, but it’s pleasant enough. I love how the shower gel feels on my skin when it’s lathered up. Whilst I wouldn’t say that this shower gel is nourishing, I’ve noticed that the micro oils DO make a difference.
Rightguard Shower
Rightguard Shower + Elixir Black Orchid Shower Cream is very enjoyable. The warm, floral fragrance is lovely (my husband likes it too), and the creamy formula is gentle on dry skin. I’d recommend this one!

Rightguard Shower + Oils Pink Jasmine Shower Gel and Rightguard Shower + Elixir Black Orchid Shower Cream are available as 250ml. I paid £1 each (Poundland).

Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba Eau De Toilette

Hi there! Today’s post is about a fragrance – Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba Eau de Toilette. This fragrance is inspired by the paraiba tourmaline – a rare and precious gemstone. The fragrance notes are passionfruit and bitter orange (top note), passionflower (heart note) and cocoa bean (base note).

I’ve worn Omnia Paraiba on and off for a few weeks now, and I think it’s one of the worst fragrances I’ve ever used. It smells like a very basic passionfruit body spray – the stuff teenagers douse themselves in after PE (gym class). If I hadn’t known this is a Bvlgari fragrance, I would have guessed it’s the latest “So…” body spray for £2.99. Having said this, So…’s offerings are usually more sophisticated than Omnia Paraiba…

Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend Bvlgari Omnia Paraiba. However, if you’re interested, the fragrance is available as 25ml, 40ml and 65ml Eau de Toilette. I paid £24 for the 40ml bottle, but prices depend on where you shop. If you really are looking for a cheap passionfruit fragrance, I recommend Asda’s own brand passionfruit spray!

Primark PS… Brightening Peel-Off Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Primark‘s PS Brightening Peel-Off Mask with pomegranate fruit extract and vitamin E. The instructions state that you should… apply the mask to your face, leave it on for 15 minutes, peel it off, then wash your face – and you’re good to go.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I don’t think that it has any brightening effect at all. I found the mask a bit more difficult to peel off, so I’m satisfied that it does remove dead skin cells. Still, I won’t repurchase this mask because there are much more effective peel-off masks out there, like Beauty Formulas’ amazing cleanser and mask duo or Maxbrands’ sensational gold mask.

Anyhoo… if you’re interested, Primark‘s PS Brightening Peel-Off Mask is available as 10ml for 80p.

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce & Gold Foils

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

I want to do christmassey manis this month, but I also want to do things slightly differently, so why not try purple and gold?

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel Salon Pro 444 Seduce (2 coats). This is a beautiful purple polish that goes with (almost) everything.

I used some leftover gold foil for the accents, and I think it worked out brilliantly! I liked this mani a lot!

If you’ve never done foil nails but would like to give it a try, please check out my super easy to follow pictorial with tips and tricks!
