Small Haul! Boots, Wright’s, Little Soap Company, M&S, Botanical Lab & Nivea

Hi there! Today’s post is about a bunch of products I bought recently. It’s not that many. And here they are:

Boots Glow Banana Toner, 100ml for £5 (plus “points received” for buying this products – I would have bought it anyway, so the points worth £1 were welcome).
Boots Rose Toner, 150ml for £1.75. This rose toner will replace my used-up Garnier rose toner.
Wright’s Traditional Soap With Coal Tar Fragrance, 85p. Finally!
Little Soap Company Sweet Orange Soap, £1.85. I liked the look of this soap!

Boots Botanics Revive & Protect Postbiotic Facial Mist (100ml) and Boots Botanics Refreshing Toning Spritz (150ml) – these were £11.98 together (Buy 1 Get 2nd Half Price deal, usually £7.99 each).
Nivea Refreshing Face Wash
, 150ml for £2.10. This face wash has been around forever, but this is the first time I bought it!

Botanical Lab Neem Leaf + Salicylic Acid Gentle Face Wash, 150ml for £2.
Botanical Lab Pumpkin & Papaya Enzymes + AHA Daily Tonic, 200ml for £3. Both of these products were half price with Tesco Clubcard!

M&S The Fragrance Collection Vanilla & Woods Eau De Toilette, 2 x 100ml for £10 each.
M&S Spiced Bergamot Eau De Toilette, 200ml for £6.25 (half price post-Christmas clearance sale).

M&S Alphabet Personalised Gift Set, £6.25 (half price post-Christmas clearance sale).

They had all sorts of different letters in the sale. I picked a random one. The contents of the set would always be the same.

And this is everything. A bunch of cheap and cheerful items that I look forward to giving a try!

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir, Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot, Foils, & Stamping With MoYou London

Hi there! Happy Monday, everyone! Today’s post is about this mani that I did about 2 weeks ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Boots No. 7 Hot To Trot (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers). This is an amazing polish. With most gold, silver and metallic shades, you get visible brushstrokes – but not with this one! 😍 For the images I used my MoYou London Zodiac 01 stamping plate and a black Rimmel polish.

I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir Yes Sir (2 coats). I like this polish a lot. It looks great on its own – but I think it looks even better with those cute rainbow foils. 🌈

Boots Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream & Cleansing Toner

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 facial cleansing products – Boots Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream & Cleansing Toner for all skin types. These products promise to remove make-up and impurities, and to refresh skin. Both the cleansing cream and the toner contain hibiscus extract which is said to have a brightening effect. I’ve been using these products for a few weeks now, and here’s what I think.

Boots Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream is a nice change from Garnier’s unconvincing honey flower cleanser. Boots’ cleansing cream is very effective at dissolving and removing makeup. At the same time, it’s very gentle on the skin. I have very dry and moody skin, and I think this cleansing cream is simply wonderful! One more thing – now that I’m no longer using Garnier’s honey flower cleanser, I ‘ve realised that my skin doesn’t have to look red after I’ve cleansed my face! Thank you Boots for this amazing product!

Boots Botanics All Bright Cleansing Toner is just as great. This toner picks up any product residue with ease, so it’s very effective. Not only does it feel refreshing and purifying, but it also does make my skin look bright, clean and clear. Another fantastic product from Boots!

Based on my experience, I would recommend these products to anyone. I’ve noticed that, after just over 2 weeks, my skin tone looked more even, my skin is a lot clearer, and the yellowish patches I’ve had under my eyes and on my cheekbones are gone. It’s like they’ve never existed! I’m impressed!

Boots Botanics All Bright Gentle Cleansing Cream & Cleansing Toner are available as 250ml each. They’re £5.49 each at Boots. However, I paid £2.50 each (clearance before the products were repackaged).

Nail Of The Day – Boots No. 7 Devil’s Delight & Essence Mountain Calling Snow Effect Top Coat

Hi there! I have another short Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Boots No. 7 Devil’s Delight (2 coats). This is a gorgeous red polish. I love everything about it.

Before I applied 1 coat of Essence Mountain Calling Snow Effect top coat, I applied 1 coat of clear polish. I did this to make sure the top coat stays pretty (and without it taking on an unwanted pink hue from the red polish).

I liked this mani very much. It was super easy to do, and I think it looked cute and christmassey. The snow effect top coat is simply awesome! Thanks, Essence!

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist, Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 body sprays I picked up a few months ago – Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist and Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist.

Being By Sanctuary Spa is a relatively new body care collection – there are shower gels, body scrubs, body butters, body mists, cosmetics bags… and so on. I would have liked to try the body butters, but they’re £10 each – and I think that’s just too expensive for a run-of-the-mill moisturiser. But when the body mists were on special, I bought 2! So let me tell you if these body mists are any good. 🙂

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist smells of lychee, berries and water lilies. It smells cheap. It’s the definition of a cheap body mist. I tried to get rid of it, but – surprise, surprise – none of my colleagues wanted it. I’ll pass it on to my teenage relative.

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist is alright, and I think I’ll finish it. This body mist smells of mangoes and fruit punch. There’s nothing even remotely spicy about it. It’s a random fruity body spray. If you’re looking for a lovely mango fragrance, you must try Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Spray.

By the way, the Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist wasn’t my first choice. I actually picked up the Salted Caramel & Macadamia Nut Body Mist from the same collection because the matching body butter smelled delicious. However, I returned the caramel & macadamia body mist the next day because it smelled of burned bread. It was disgusting.

I don’t think I’ll be picking up any other Being By Sanctuary Spa products. The entire line seems to be way too expensive for what it is. If you’re interested… Being By Sanctuary Spa Body Mists are available as 100ml for £5 each. I picked them up when they were on special (I believe it was a Save 1/3 offer).
