Empties – May 2020

Hi there! I hope you had a great start into the week and into June. 😘 Today’s post is about all the products I managed to finish in May. I’ve done really well, and here’s everything I said goodbye to.

1 Yves Rocher Monoï Eau Des Vahinés Eau De Toilette – this is an amazing fragrance! I have a few more bottles in my stash!

2 Yves Rocher Monoï Lagoon Moisturizing Perfumed Body Mist – another lovely fragance from Yves Rocher. Yes, I have a few more of these too!

3 Vaseline Intensive Care Essential Healing Non-Greasy Lotion – one of my of favourite body moisturisers. I will buy it again, no doubt!

4 Manhattan Tasty Lips Lipgloss American Grapefruit – a truly amazing lipgloss. If this one hadn’t been discontinued, I’d pick it up again.

5 Superdrug Deep Action Extreme Skin Brightening Solution – this is the best pore-unclogging and brightening product I’ve never used. I have a few more of these in my stash!

6 Boots The Garden Collection Rose Body Lotion (travel size) – this is a lovely non-greasy body lotion which I’d be happy to buy again.

7 Smack Beauty Sleeping Beauty Firming Night Cream – this is an OK night cream. I wouldn’t buy it again as there’s much better stuff out there.

8 Nivea Clay Fresh Deep Cleansing Shower Ginger & Basil Scent – a nice shower gel. I think I’ll buy it again!

9 Herbal Essences Bio Renew Bourbon & Manuka Honey Deep Repair Conditioner – one of the best conditioners I’ve ever used. I’ve already repurchased it (+ the matching shampoo).

10 Radox Scent Touch Feel Positive – this is a nice shower gel that I might buy again.

11 Rightguard Shower + Oils Purple Orchid – I love this shower gel! I’ll buy it again next time I see it.

12 Radox Eastern Spirit – this is a really nice bath gel. Unfortunately, this fragrance has been discontinued.

13 Classics Nail Polish Remover – my go-to nail polish remover. I have a few more bottles in my stash.

14 Burberry Brit Red – I loved this fragrance! Too bad it was a limited edition…

15 Primark PS… Pink Grapefruit Overnight Jelly Mask – this is a decent jelly moisturiser, but I won’t buy it again as there’s better stuff waiting to be used!

I also used a few single-use face masks. If you’d like to know which masks I tried recently, click here. I’m very happy with what I finished this month. I hope June will be amazing for empties too!

Thanks for stopping by! 🥰

Empties – November 2018

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I emptied in November. First of all, I used a number of single-use face masks. Whilst I don’t keep the empty sachets, you can read about my latest face mask finds if you click here. Now, let’s have a closer look at the big bottles and tubes!

1 Balance Active Formula Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm – this eye cream hydrates skin nicely, but that’s about it. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

2 Positively Fruity Smells Like Wild Cherries Body Lotion – this is a shared empty. My husband and I used most of this body lotion as a foot lotion. I wouldn’t repurchase this product.

3 Boots Garden Collection Rose Body Lotion (travel size) – this is a decent body lotion. I have one more tube!

4 Derma V10 Mango Body Butter – this is a nice body butter. I might buy it again.

5 Superdrug Hand & Nail Cream – this is another shared empty. My husband and I used this hand cream as a foot cream. I wouldn’t repurchase this product.

6 Possibility Amber & Lavender Bath and Shower Body Scrub – this is a great product. I’d love to buy it again, but this lovely fragrance is no longer availble. 😦

7 Daily Defense Pomegranate And Vitamin E Moisturizing Conditioner – another awesome hair product from Daily Defense. I’ll repurchase it, no doubt! If you’re wondering what happened to the matching shampoo… I like to use matching hair products, and whenever I finish a conditioner, I pass the leftover shampoo on to my husband.

8 Imperial Leather Invigorating Mango & Papaya Shower Cream – this is a great shower cream, and I’ll repurchase it soon. My husband used it too, so this is another shared empty!

9 Sanctuary Spa Kyphi Nourishing Body Butter – this is one of the best body butters I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued. 😦

10 MUA Blusher Shade 2 – I liked this blush. Good pigmentation, east to blend, lovely shade. I wouldn’t buy it again, but that’s only because I have way too many blushes…

11 Superdrug B. Confident Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz – one of my holy grail products!

12 Garnier Pure Active Anti-Imperfection Cleansing Gel – this is a very effective face wash. This is another shared empty (my husband enjoyed this face wash very much). If you’re looking for a simple product that gives your skin a proper deep cleanse, look no further! I can see myself buying this face wash again.

13 Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser – this is a nice and effective cleansing cream. I’ve been happy with it, but I won’t buy it again any time soon because I have a few similar products in my stash, and I need to get on top of those cleansers first.

14 Boots The Garden Collection Lavender Body Lotion (travel size) – I think this is a great little body lotion. I have a back-up!

15 Boots The Garden Collection Lavender Body Wash (travel size) – this shower gel was really lovely. I have one more bottle!

16 Baylis & Harding Mango & Mandarin Fragrance Mist – I enjoyed this body mist while it lasted, but it wasn’t special enough for me to buy it again.

I’m happy with what I finished in November. I said goodbye to a blush, I emptied a few travel-sized products, and I managed to finish several skin care products. Not bad, eh? 🙂 What have you finished last month? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Boots Garden Collection – Rose Body Wash & Body Lotion, Lavender Body Wash & Body Lotion, Magnolia Body Wash

Hi there! Today’s post is about BootsGarden Collection toiletries. Once a year, these products are available as a set of 5 travel-sized products (3x 100ml shower gel, 2x 75ml body lotion). The designs are different every year, but the products are always the same. Onto the reviews!

Boots Garden Collection Rose Body Wash is very nice. It lathers up well, it cleanses my skin properly, but it doesn’t feel drying at all. The fresh rose fragrance is very well done.

Boots Garden Collection Rose Body Lotion is a light body moisturiser. It’s not sticky at all, and it’s absorbed in no time, so it would be perfect for the warmer seasons and for workday mornings (or whenever you’re in a hurry). The fragrance is fresh and rosey.

Boots Garden Collection Lavender Body Wash is just as great as the rose body wash. The aromatic lavender fragrance is very authentic.

Boots Garden Collection Lavender Body Lotion is just as wonderful as the rose body lotion. It provides light hydration, and the lavender scent is simply lovely.

Boots Garden Collection Magnolia Body Wash has blown me away. The formula of the shower gel is great, and the fragrance is… floral, sunny, transparent… with a touch of honey. Gorgeous!

Boots did a great job with these Garden Collection toiletries. I paid £2.50 per set which is a total steal!
