Boots Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Boots’ Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask. It promises to lift dirt out of skin pores, to help remove blackheads, to help tighten pores and to prevent future breakouts.

The instructions state that you should apply the mask to cleansed skin, leave it to dry for 15-20 minutes, peel it off and then wash your face to make sure you remove any mask residue.

I’ve given this mask (2 of these masks actually) a try, and I think this is one of the most pointless face masks I’ve ever used. It removes nothing at all – not even itself. I think you’d be better off trying to remove blackheads and dead skin cells with sticky tape (although I wouldn’t recommend that).

I won’t be repurchasing this mask. But if you’re interested, Boots’ Tea Tree & Witch Hazel Peel Off Face Mask used to be available as single-use sachets. However, Boots now offers this mask as a 50ml tube for £3.50.

I’m happy with what I’ve bought. However, I’m disappointed Yves Rocher will cease trading in the UK 14 days before Brexshit becomes effective. I understand Yves Rocher’s decision, and I don’t blame them at all. But it’s still sad. 😦
