Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist, Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 body sprays I picked up a few months ago – Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist and Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist.

Being By Sanctuary Spa is a relatively new body care collection – there are shower gels, body scrubs, body butters, body mists, cosmetics bags… and so on. I would have liked to try the body butters, but they’re £10 each – and I think that’s just too expensive for a run-of-the-mill moisturiser. But when the body mists were on special, I bought 2! So let me tell you if these body mists are any good. 🙂

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist smells of lychee, berries and water lilies. It smells cheap. It’s the definition of a cheap body mist. I tried to get rid of it, but – surprise, surprise – none of my colleagues wanted it. I’ll pass it on to my teenage relative.

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist is alright, and I think I’ll finish it. This body mist smells of mangoes and fruit punch. There’s nothing even remotely spicy about it. It’s a random fruity body spray. If you’re looking for a lovely mango fragrance, you must try Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Spray.

By the way, the Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist wasn’t my first choice. I actually picked up the Salted Caramel & Macadamia Nut Body Mist from the same collection because the matching body butter smelled delicious. However, I returned the caramel & macadamia body mist the next day because it smelled of burned bread. It was disgusting.

I don’t think I’ll be picking up any other Being By Sanctuary Spa products. The entire line seems to be way too expensive for what it is. If you’re interested… Being By Sanctuary Spa Body Mists are available as 100ml for £5 each. I picked them up when they were on special (I believe it was a Save 1/3 offer).

Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Scrub, Cucumber Toner & Cucumber 3-Minute Clay Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about 3 dirt cheap Boots own-brand products – Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Scrub, Facial Toner, and 3-Minute Clay Mask. These products are £1.50 each, but Boots ran a 3 for £3 promotion, so I paid £1 each. Now let me tell you if these products are any good!

I really like Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Scrub because it’s effective without being too harsh. And the fragrance – which I’d describe as a clean and feminine fragrance with a hint of cucumber – is nice and pleasant. If I hadn’t known that this is Boots’ cheapest and most basic own-brand scrub, I wouldn’t have believed it. Well done, Boots!

Boots Essentials Cucumber Facial Toner is very good. It feels refreshing, and the cucumber fragrance is really nice. And whilst this toner contains alcohol, it doesn’t feel drying at all. I’m also glad to be able to report that I found this toner perfectly safe to use around my eyes. There was no stinging or burning at all! Outstanding!

Product number 3 is Boots Essentials Cucumber 3-Minute Clay Mask which promises to leave skin deeply cleansed, soothed and toned. Does it work? Oh yes! After a single use of this mask my skin felt cleaner and my pores looked considerably smaller. Yes, I left the mask on for longer than 3 minutes, but I always leave masks on for longer than recommended. In any event, the important thing is that my pores looked smaller. Considerably smaller! Awesome!

Like I said, these Boots Essentials products are £1.50 each. The scrub and the clay mask come in 50ml tubes, and the toner bottle houses 150ml of product. I will continue to use these products, and I will buy them again, no doubt. I will also try other products from Boots’ Essentials collection.

Have you tried any of these products? If so, how do / did you like them? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for reading!

Boots Extracts Marshmallow & Peppermint Body Wash, Body Butter & Body Scrub

Hi there! Whilst it’s been 3 months since Christmas, I still have a lot of Christmas-themed products to try and review. I’ve already taken a closer look at the Winter Woodland shower gels and body lotions, and today I’m reviewing Boots’ Extracts Marshmallow & Peppermint Body Wash, Body Butter and Body Scrub.

The Body Wash is gentle and not drying. And it’s not tingly! I think that’s nice. The Body Butter feels rich and nourishing – but it’s not sticky. In terms of quality it’s just as good as all the other fantastic Boots Extracts body butters. The Body Scrub is nice enough. I’d have liked it more if it were a little grittier. However, this scrub is better than the sticky Boots Extracts sugar scrub!

Whilst these Boots Extracts Marshmallow & Peppermint products are of good quality, I have to mention that I dislike their fragrance. These products smell like peppermint tea – so to me they basically smell like ‘flu remedy’. I hope Boots’ 2017 Christmas LE will be better. Boots, please just stay away from peppermint and cranberry!
