100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Sea Splash Peel Off

Hi there! Today’s short post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s Sea Splash Peel Off face mask with Dead Sea salt and seaweed.

This mask promises “a deep cleansing for a revitalising boost”, and it is exclusive to Primark where I bought it for 90p. 🙂

How’s the mask? I think this mask is almost an exact duplicate of Montagne Jeunesse’s Black Seaweed mask. The only difference is the colour. The Black Seaweed mask is black, whilst the Sea Splash mask is almost transparent with a blueish tint.

To be more specific – this mask is OK. It didn’t make a visible difference to my skin, but I’m sure it did cleanse my pores. I don’t think the mask smells great – I’d describe the smell as swamp-like.

I wouldn’t buy this face mask again, but if you’d like to try it, head to Primark! Montagne Jeunesse’s Sea Splash Peel Off face mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo, and it’s approved by the Vegetarian Society.

Anatomicals Grease Isn’t The Word (Tell Me More, Tell Me More) Mattifying Face Mask

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing Anatomicals’ Grease Isn’t The Word (Tell Me More, Tell Me More) Mattifying Face Mask. This mask is 1 of the 3 face masks in Anatomicals’ Now You’re Ready To Face The World trio mask set. I picked up this mask set because the design looked fun. 😉 And it was on special (Save 1/3 offer), so there was no point in not buying it. Alright, now onto the review…

This Anatomicals mask is a regular clay mask. It’s not as thick as the masks that I’m used to (Montagne Jeunesse, Superdrug, Boots). However, I’m OK with this. This mask is mint green in colour (which looks quite cool), and I would describe its fragrance as soapy – it smells alright, but I don’t love the fragrance.

I’m satisfied that this mask cleanses my pores properly, but it doesn’t have a mattifying effect. But then, how could a rinse-off product really have a mattifying effect? Anyway… all in all, this is a reasonable face mask. If the other 2 masks from this set turn out to be equally good, I can definitely see myself buying this mask set again.

Anatomicals’ Now You’re Ready To Face The World trio mask set is available for £3 at Superdrug. I paid £2 only for the set (Save 1/3 offer).

100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug White Chocolate Mousse Mask

upload-3Hi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s White Chocolate Mousse Mask.

This face mask for normal to dry skin promises to cleanse and to nourish skin. So is this 99p mask any good?

This face mask seems to be the reincarnation of Superdrug’s Yoghurt Smoothie mask. It looks, feels and smells the same.

So yes, this mask cleanses my skin well, and it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry. I would recommend it!

Superdrug’s White Chocolate Mousse Mask carries the Leaping Bunny logo. This means it’s BUAV-approved, so it’s 100% cruelty-free!

Have you tried this face mask If so, how did you like it? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for stopping by!

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel-Off Face Mask

Montagne Jeunesse Black Seaweed Peel OffHi there! Today’s post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel-Off Face Mask.

This mask promises an ultra deep cleansing experience. So does it work?

The mask is like every other peel-off mask – you apply it, you let it dry, you peel it off, and then you rinse off any residue…

Whilst I found this mask to be OK, I didn’t love it because I didn’t think that it was particularly effective. Unfortunately it made no difference to my skin at all.

In addition, I didn’t love the fragrance. I was expecting it to be spa-like because I remember Superdrug’s seaweed face mask smelled spa-like, but this one smelled rather swamp-like.

I may give this face mask another chance at some point in the future. But this time it didn’t really convince me. But if you’d like to try this mask, it’s usually around £1. Oh, and one more thing… Montagne Jeunesse’s 7th Heaven Black Seaweed Peel-Off Face Mask is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo, and it’s approved by the Vegetarian Society.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Berrylicious Mud Masque

upload-6Hi there! Today’s post is about Montagne Jeunesse’s Berrylicious Mud Masque. This mask claims to be full of antioxidants, and it promises a deep cleanse.

This mud mask is like every other mud mask. You apply it, then you let it dry for about 15 – 20 minutes, and then you rinse it off.

So is this mask any good? Oh yes! This mask is very nice. It does give my skin a proper cleanse, and I really like its pleasant fruity scent.

I would definitely recommend this face mask! It’s 90p (Primark) only, so there’s no excuse not to buy it.

And Montagne Jeunesse’s Berrylicious Mud Masque is certified cruelty-free. It carries the Leaping Bunny logo, and it’s approved by the Vegetarian Society.

100% Cruelty-Free – Montagne Jeunesse Grapefruit Sauna

upload-5Hi there! Montagne Jeunesse’s Grapefruit Sauna (Primark, 90p) is the star of today’s post. 🙂

This face mask promises to gently warm skin for a fresh and radiant glow. This sounds great! But is the mask really any good?

Yes, the mask is awesome! The warming effect is very pleasant. And it’s only warm, it’s not hot, I promise!

I also enjoyed the fragrance which is probably the purest and most authentic pink grapefruit fragrance I’ve ever smelled. It’s gorgeous!

And what about the skin benefits? I didn’t see a difference, but I felt a difference. My skin felt super clean and clear. Fantastic!

So would I recommend this face mask? Yes, absolutely!

This Montagne Jeunesse Grapefruit Sauna face mask is certified cruelty-free, and it’s suitable for vegetarians. It’s approved by BUAV (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo) and by the Vegetarian Society.

100% Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Yoghurt Smoothie Mask

Superdrug Yoghurt Smoothie MaskHi there! Just a few days ago I picked up a new face mask at my local Superdrug. I found it on the sale shelf (49p) – so I guess it’s been discontinued…

Anyway, since you might still come across it, let me tell you if Superdrug’s Yoghurt Smoothie Mask is any good.

First of all, this mask reminds me of Montagne Jeunesse’s Buttercream Dream Mud. Whilst this Superdrug face mask doesn’t contain any exfoliating beads, the formula and the fragrance are quite similar to Montagne Jeunesse’s face mask.

What I like about this mask is that it gives my skin a deep cleanse and that it makes my skin feel soft and refreshed.

I think this mask is really nice! If I manage to swing by Superdrug again next week, I’ll definitely pick up a few more masks! 🙂

Superdrug’s Yoghurt Smoothie Mask carries the Leaping Bunny logo. It’s BUAV-approved and as such it is 100% cuelty-free!

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Orange And Black Lava Exfoliating Mask

Superdrug Orange Black Lava MaskHi there! Today I’m reviewing Superdrug’s (fairly new) Orange And Black Lava Exfoliating Mask. 🙂

This mask contains black lava pumice, orange peel and orange oil.

And it promises to… help eliminate dead skin cells and impurities, tighten pores and brighten the complexion… that’s exactly what it says on the back of the sachet.

This mask is like any other clay mask – apply, let dry, rinse. Easy!

Is the mask any good? Yes! But that’s not surprising. It’s a clay mask after all. I also like the pumice in this mask. It’s not too harsh, and it feels really good.

And I like the orange fragrance. It’s not a fruity orange, but more of a candied orange fragrance. It’s quite nice!

I would definitely recommend this face mask to anyone who’s looking for a clarifying face mask that exfoliates the skin gently. I will buy this face mask again, no doubt!

Superdrug’s Orange And Black Lava Exfoliating Mask is 100% vegan and cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). It’s 99p at Superdrug – and Superdrug often runs 3 for 2 or buy 1 get 1 half price promotions on face masks.

100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Superfruits Clay Mask

upload-1Hi there! I’ve got another face mask review for you today. So let me tell you what I think of Superdrug’s Superfruits Clay Mask.

This clay mask is like every other clay mask. You apply it, then you leave it alone so that it can dry (this takes about 20 minutes), and then you rinse it off.

And what’s special about this mask? The fragrance! This mask contains goji berry, pomegranate and acai berry extracts (and natural clay and sea salt) which are said to have anti-oxidant properties.

Whilst I can hardly comment on any anti-oxidant benefits (How could I?), I must say that this mask smells simply fantastic! I love it!

Yes, the mask also feels cleansing and purifying – but I think it’s fair to say that almost every other clay mask out there does the same. However, the fragrance makes this mask particularly delightful!

A word of warning though – my husband said the mask felt ‘hot’ (not warm, but also not burning – just ‘hot’) on his skin for about a minute, but it was perfectly fine after that. He didn’t experience any redness or any other issues, but I think I should mention it anyway. I didn’t have any problems with this mask at all – even though I’m the one who has sensitive and moody skin! 🙂

Based on my experience I would recommend this face mask. It’s 99p at Superdrug, although Superdrug runs promotions (it’s usually 3 for 2 or Buy 1 get 2nd half price) all the time. In addition, this mask carries the Leaping Bunny logo. It’s certified cruelty-free and it’s suitable for vegans!

100& Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Black Seaweed Peel-Off Mask

Superdrug Black Seaweed Peel Off MaskHi there! Today’s post is about Superdrug’s Black Seaweed Peel-Off Face Mask.

This mask is fairly new, and it’s out of stock almost all the time, so I’m glad I got my hands on a few sachets! 🙂

The mask is like every other peel-off mask – you apply it, you let it dry, you peel it off, and then you rinse off any residue.

Is this mask any good? Yes, it is! It makes my skin feel soft and properly cleansed. I love it! It’s fantastic!

This mask contains seaweed and sea buckthorn, two ingredients which are said to have skin-cleansing properties. And they really seem to work! 🙂

I do like the fragrance as well – it’s a mix of ‘sauna’ and something marine. I think it really enhances the ‘home spa experience’.

So yes, I’d recommend this face mask in an instant! Superdrug’s Black Seaweed Peel-Off Face Mask is suitable vor vegans and it’s certified cruelty-free (it’s BUAV-approved and it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). The mask is 99p – but there’s almost always a 3 for 2 promotion on face masks!
