Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist, Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 body sprays I picked up a few months ago – Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist and Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist.

Being By Sanctuary Spa is a relatively new body care collection – there are shower gels, body scrubs, body butters, body mists, cosmetics bags… and so on. I would have liked to try the body butters, but they’re £10 each – and I think that’s just too expensive for a run-of-the-mill moisturiser. But when the body mists were on special, I bought 2! So let me tell you if these body mists are any good. 🙂

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Cloudberry & Lychee Blossom Body Mist smells of lychee, berries and water lilies. It smells cheap. It’s the definition of a cheap body mist. I tried to get rid of it, but – surprise, surprise – none of my colleagues wanted it. I’ll pass it on to my teenage relative.

Boots Being By Sanctuary Spa Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist is alright, and I think I’ll finish it. This body mist smells of mangoes and fruit punch. There’s nothing even remotely spicy about it. It’s a random fruity body spray. If you’re looking for a lovely mango fragrance, you must try Boots Extracts Sweet Mango Body Spray.

By the way, the Chilli Mango & Tonka Bean Body Mist wasn’t my first choice. I actually picked up the Salted Caramel & Macadamia Nut Body Mist from the same collection because the matching body butter smelled delicious. However, I returned the caramel & macadamia body mist the next day because it smelled of burned bread. It was disgusting.

I don’t think I’ll be picking up any other Being By Sanctuary Spa products. The entire line seems to be way too expensive for what it is. If you’re interested… Being By Sanctuary Spa Body Mists are available as 100ml for £5 each. I picked them up when they were on special (I believe it was a Save 1/3 offer).

My Little Pony Body Mist, Bath & Shower Gel, Leave-In Hair Detangler

Hi there! Today’s post is about 3 My Little Pony branded products – My Little Pony Body Mist, My Little Pony Shower Gel, and My Little Pony Leave-In Hair Detangler. These 3 products were made by Kokomo Studio, a UK-based toiletries manufacturer.

Alright, let’s start with the My Little Pony Body Mist! The fruity and powdery fragrance is quite faint, and it evaporates quickly. After a few minutes you won’t be able to smell it on your skin anymore. However, since this body mist is clearly aimed at young girls, the faint fragrance isn’t really an issue because kids can spray away without stinking up their bedrooms with sickly sweet smells. Cool!

So whilst the fragrance isn’t what an adult would expect, I still like the body mist because it feels hydrating. It contains oils, but I promise you that it’s not sticky. I really like to spray it down my back. Just 2 or 3 sprays a couple of times a week – that’s enough to make the skin on my back feel super soft. Great stuff! If you’d like to try this body mist, or if you’d like to buy it as a present for a young relative, the 100ml bottle is £2 at Primark.

Onto the My Little Pony Bath & Shower Gel! I really like this shower gel. It lathers up nicely, and it smells of honeydew melons. It’s also not drying! What’s not to like? I paid 99p for the big 400ml bottle (Home Bargains).

And how’s the My Little Pony Leave-In Hair Detangler? I think this product is quite alright. It’s not ground-breaking, but it’s much better than L’Oréal’s Elvive Smooth & Polish Thermo Detangling Spray (which I will review shortly). So yes, this dirt-cheap My Little Pony product really helps detangle my hair! In regards to the fragrance, all I can say is that it’s faint and fruity (something like pear and melon…), and that it evaporates quickly. But that’s great because I wouldn’t want my hair detangler to compete with the fragrance I’m wearing. By the way, the 150ml bottle can be yours for £1 (Poundworld).

To make a long story short, I’m happy that I picked up these products. I don’t always make the best decisions when I buy products just because I love the cute packaging. However, these 3 products will serve me well for the next couple of months, so I have no reason to complain at all!

Body Fantasies Kissing In The Rain & Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy Fragrance Body Sprays

Hi there! Just recently I managed to finish one of the two Body Fantasies Pink Grapefruit Fantasy body sprays that I’ve had in my stash. So I decided to try two new Body Fantasies body sprays. I ordered these online, so I didn’t know if they were any good. But they were dirt cheap (special offer, £1.98 each) so I just bought them. And now that I’ve given these two body sprays a try, let me tell you more…

Body Fantasies Kissing In The Rain is afwul. It’s not a fragrance – it’s a smell! And I would describe the smell as a mix of cheap hairspray, bed head, wet dog and sweat. Truly awful.

Body Fantasies Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy isn’t much better. This fragrance is definitely ‘pink’, but it’s also sour. No, it’s not fresh, tangy or crisp. It smells sour. And that’s rather unpleasant…

Body Fantasies Kissing In The Rain and Pink Sweet Pea Fantasy are available as 94ml Perfume Body Spray for £3.99 each at Superdrug (if you’re in the UK). I got these two for £1.98 each (half price offer). However, I wish I had just ignored the half price offer! 😀

NSPA Mango Fragrance Body Mist, NSPA Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist

Hi there! I’ve been using all sorts of NSPA products for quite some time now – shower gels, body butters, body mists… you name it. And today I’m reviewing NSPA’s Mango Fragrance Body Mist and NSPA’s Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist.

NSPA’s Mango Fragrance Body Mist isn’t great. I was hoping it would smell like Boots’ mango fragrance – but it’s nothing like it. NSPA’s mango fragrance isn’t horrible, but it smells rather cheap and synthetic. I’ll pass this body mist on to someone who isn’t that picky with all-over body sprays. 🙂

NSPA’s Vanilla Fragrance Body Mist is decent. I don’t think the vanilla fragrance is particularly special. However, the vanilla scent is pleasant, sweet and a little ‘boozy’. Sometimes I spray it on my scarf or on my husband’s pillow. 🙂 Yes, my husband likes that! I think that, if you like vanilla fragrances in general, you should give this body mist a try!

NSPA products are exclusive to Asda. The body mists are available as 200ml for £3.

I Love… Cherry Almond Sparkle Refreshing Body Spritzer

I Love... Cherry Almond SparkleHi there! If you read my blog, you know I’ve been buying all things I Love… lately. I bought quite a few body mists (and other products) – for £1 each from Poundland! Here’s the haul post.

I thought I was very lucky that I Love…’s 2015 Christmas collection hit the bargain stores. I already had the shower gel and the body butter. So I was happy to try the I Love… Cherry Almond Sparkle Refreshing Body Spritzer as well.

However, after trying the body mist, I have to say it’s not for me. Whilst the shower gel and body butter do smell like cherry bakewell tarts, the body mist smells like a mix of almonds and baked bread – without the tiniest hint of cherries.

And when the fragrance dries down, it leaves behind a bread-like scent on my skin and my clothes. I may be too critical, but I don’t like the smell or the taste of bread, so I won’t be using this body mist again. But the product won’t be wasted. It’s going in my beauty box for the women’s shelter. Hopefully someone else will like this body mist a lot more.

If you would like to try I Love… Cherry Almond Sparkle Refreshing Body Spritzer, it’s £2.99 at Superdrug’s or onlline. Or swing by your local Poundland where you might find it for £1.

NSPA Fresh Sweet Raspberry Shower & Bath Gel, Rich Body Butter, Fragrance Body Mist

Hi there! I’ve been shopping for toiletries again and I found an interesting looking spa-themed body care collection at Asda: NSPA. They do shower and bath gels, body scrubs, body butters and body mists with different scents (mango, raspberry, vanilla, coconut, passion fruit, etc.).

The products are £3 each, but they had a 3 for £4 offer so I opted for three products from the raspberry collection: NSPA Fresh Sweet Raspberry Shower & Bath Gel, Rich Body Butter and Fragrance Body Mist.
NSPA Raspberry
Let me start with the Shower & Bath Gel. If you love the scent and flavour of raspberries, this is a shower gel you should try. The raspberry scent is sweet and quite intense – almost like the real thing. Well done NSPA and Asda! A big plus: You’ll get a 500 ml bottle for £3 which is great value.

Up next is the Rich Body Butter: I’m enjoying this body butter very much at the moment. It’s indeed rich and I can see this one becoming a winter favourite because it really takes care of dry skin. This sweetly-scented raspberry body butter is priced at £3 for a 200 ml tub.

The Fragrance Body Mist is almost literally the icing on the cake. If you want to smell of summery and sweet raspberries, spray this fragrance all over your body. Whilst the raspberry body mist won’t last all day, it really helps if you moisturise your skin with the matching body butter first. In any event, £3 get you a 200 ml bottle which means you’ll get plenty of product to douse yourself in. Incredible value!

I’m very pleased with NSPA‘s offerings and would recommend them if you love raspberry-scented body care products. The fruity products are £3 each , but at the moment most full-size NSPA products are £1.97 only at Asda (I just checked online).
