Nail Of The Day – Halloween Nail Art Ideas / NYC In A Minute 019 A Perfect Day & Stamping

Hi there! Today’s post is the 6th and last Halloween Nail Art Ideas post for this year.

If you’re still unsure what to do with your nails this Halloween, how about something like this? 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 019 A Perfect Day (2 coats). The black polish I stamped with is Rimmel 60 Seconds Hot Black To Go.

I used a number of different stamping plates:
Bundle Monster BM-224, JQ-L18, and a few unbranded stamping plates.

I also tried to double-stamp with gold polish, but I picked the wrong polish. The golden hues are hardly visible – unless you look for them.

Anyway, I still like this mani. I think it looks great with the grey base, the barren tree, the spooky mansion and the bats. Do you agree? Feel free to let me know. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Maybelline Forever Strong Pro 795 Cloudy Grey & Stamping

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did recently. It’s not a very special one, but I just wanted to try something. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Maybelline Forever Strong Pro 795 Cloudy Grey. This polish is a true one-coater which is nice. However, this polish takes a while to dry.

I wanted to have a floral mani, so I chose two stamping plates with cute floral images = B41 and P21. These stamping plates are unbranded ones. So I don’t know who manufactured them.

The polish I stamped with is Revlon 902 Craving Coral.

I think this mani turned out alright. It’s not very special, but it’s not the most boring mani ever. What do you think? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Ciaté Sugar Plum & Stamping With Pueen 74

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with 1 coat of Ciaté’s Sugar Plum. And then I sponged on another coat of polish.

Why? Well, the bottle is almost empty, and it was next to impossible to get any polish out of the bottle.

There’s still a little polish left in the bottle, but it won’t be enough for a full mani. It might be enough for 2 accent nails – we’ll see… 🙂

Now back to this mani! The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 74 plate (you’ve seen it before, and it’s part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection).

And the black polish I stamped with is NYC In A Minute 001 Evil.

I’m really happy with this mani. What do you think? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! I appreciate it. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Sinful Colors Blue La La & Stamping With Pueen 93

Hi there! Today’s post is a short Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Sinful Colours Blue La La. I really like this shade of blue. It’s cute and cool!

The stamping plate I chose is Pueen’s 93 plate (which is available as part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection).

And the blue polish I stamped with is Filthy Gorgeous Midnight. It’s not a “real” stamping polish,  but it stamps perfectly.

I think this mani turned out OK. It’s not my favourite, but I couldn’t come up with a more creative mani. I also didn’t want to do another underwater mani just yet. Ah well, maybe next time. 🙂

Anyway, feel free to comment. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Essence Out Of Space Stories 01 Outta Space Is The Place & Stamping With Pueen 80 / Nail Art Challenge #14 Flowers

Hi there! I’ve got another short Nail Of The Day post for you today. 🙂 For this mani I painted my nails with Essence Out Of Space Stories 01 Outta Space Is The Place (two easy coats).

The stamping plate I used is Pueen’s 80 plate (which is available as part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection). And the polish I used to stamp on the flowers is the one and only Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

This mani also counts towards the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge – and it’s for challenge #14 Flowers.

I think this mani turned out alright. I think the images go well with the pearlescent base. How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel 60 Seconds 703 White Hot Love, Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir, Yes Sir! & Stamping With Pueen 39 / Nail Art Challenge #26 Inspired By A Pattern

upload-1Hi there! I’ve got another nail post for you today. I’m continuing with the 31 Days Nail Art Challenge. And today’s mani is my attempt at challenge #26 Inspired By A Pattern.

The pattern that inspired me to do this mani is the purple butterfly print on one of my scarves.

I’ve used said scarf as backdrop for a few product photos. If you’re interested, you can see the scarf here and here.

Whilst my mani isn’t a copy of the butterfly pattern, I’m happy with it. In addition, the nail challenge wasn’t about copying anything, but to be inspired by something. So I think I did alright! 🙂

For this mani I used the following products:
Rimmel 60 Seconds 703 White Hot Love (white base, 2 coats),
Rimmel 60 Seconds 625 Sir, Yes Sir! (stamping colour),
Pueen‘s 39 stamping plate (from Pueen‘s Love Elements collection),
JQ-L04 stamping plate,
Flowers 02 stamping plate

How do you like this mani? Feel free to get in touch via the comments section. And thank you for reading! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Revlon 260 Bold Sangria & Stamping With Pueen 51

uploadHi there! Today’s post is the last post this week – so it’s the last post this nail week.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 260 Bold Sangria (2 coats). I think Bold Sangria is one of the best dark purple polishes out there. Great quality, lovely shade! Thanks, Revlon!

And I used Essence’s white stamping polish and Pueen’s 51 plate (which is part of Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection) to stamp floral images onto my nails.

I didn’t like this mani because I managed to smudge all the images on my right hand. I think I moisturised my hands too soon after cleaning up around the nails with nail polish remover…

However, in real life the mistakes were hardly visible. Well, in real life no one stares at my nails and no one’s looking for mistakes. 😉 And I did get a few compliments on this mani, so it wasn’t too bad.

Like I said, this is the last nail post this nail week. I haven’t done a weekly recap post today, so if you think you’ve missed a post or if you’d like to see the other manis I’ve written about this week (or ever…), click here and scroll down. I’m back with a “regular” post tomorrow. So in the meantime… Happy Sunday!

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Colorstay 180 Indigo Night & Stamping

upload-1Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I tried in December. It was supposed to be some kind of a Christmas tree mani – but unfortunately it didn’t really look christmassey at all.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Colorstay 180 Indigo Night (2 coats). I like this polish very much because the formula is easy to work with and this polish is almost a one-coater.

I used Essence’s brilliant white Stampy polish to stamp on the Christmas tree images. The stamping plate I used is a no-name plate.

I think this mani looked quite OK – but it didn’t really work out as a Christmas mani. So from this point of view it’s a partial fail.

Feel free to comment if you want to. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 900 Wonder Purple & Stamping With Pueen 80

NYC 900 Wonder Purple Pueen 80Hi there! Today’s post is a short one about the mani I did the other day. I think it’s not spectacular at all, but my husband really liked it. So I hope a few of you will like it too. 🙂

Let’s start! I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 900 Wonder Purple (2 coats). This gorgeous polish cost me 33p only – it came in a trio pack for £1 (yes, three polishes = £1 in total at Poundworld). Now that’s what I call a bargain!

The stamped-on image is from Pueen’s 80 plate – which is part of Pueen’s Buffet Leisure collection. Pueen’s 80 plate features several images of roses – yet somehow I managed to stamp on the exact same rose on every nail. Funny…

Pueen’s 80 plate isn’t my favourite stamping plate. It’s nice to look at, but the images aren’t as nice when they’re stamped on. I don’t know why. I think I should give it another try – and maybe use different colours (something rosey…) and see how that goes.

Oh, before I forget… this time I used another NYC polish to stamp on the images. Normally I use Revlon Colorstay Stiletto, but I misplaced it (so much for bringing my beauty stash in order…). So today I used NYC In A Minute 001 Evil. It’s not the best black polish for stamping, but it’s OK.

Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid & Stamping with Pueen 59

Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid plus StampingHi there! Last week’s been really busy, so I couldn’t post as much as I would have liked. However, I’ve got a nail post for today. 🙂

I painted my nails with Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 370 Wild Orchid. I love creamy lilac, violet and purple nail polishes, and this one is one of my favourites.

I was thinking about beautifying my mani with glitter or foils, but in the end I went with stamping. I chose a floral stamping plate, Pueen 59 from Pueen’s Stamping Buffet collection. The black polish is Revlon Colorstay Stiletto.

I love floral manis, but this one wasn’t my favourite. I think I’ll be trying geometric shapes next!
