Nail Of The Day – Revlon 040 Fuchsia Fever, Ciaté Showtime & Stamping With Maniology BM-XL217

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon 040 Fuchsia Fever (thumbs, index and middle fingers). This is a great polish. I love the colour, and I’m obsessed with the formula and the quick drying time.

For the images I used my Maniology (formerly Bundle Monster) BL-XL217 stamping plate.

The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto.

On the ring fingers and pinkies I used Ciaté Showtime (3 coats).

I liked the girly look of this mani. However, I didn’t enjoy removing the glitter. It’s normal for glitter top coats and polishes to be a bit more difficult to remove than regular nail polish, but this glitter polish was an absolute nightmare. I think I might have to buy peel-off base coat (in case I’ll ever wear this glitter polish again).

Nail Of The Day – Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven & Ciaté Snow Globe (Nail Fail)

Hi there! I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 702 Marshmallow Heaven (2 coat). This is a great polish. I just love the colour and the formula.

The top coat I used is Ciaté Snow Globe. I had high expectations for this top coat, but it turned out to be a disappointment. It’s on the goopy side, there aren’t many flakies in this top coat, and those few that make it onto the nails are VERY stand-offish, so they get caught in everything.

I didn’t care for this mani at all… Onto the next one!

Nail Of The Day – Sally Hansen Sugar Coat Candy Corn, Ciaté Cabaret & Ciaté Party Shoes

Hi there! Today’s post is a Nail Of The Day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Sally Hansen Sugar Coat 260 Candy Corn (2 coats, pinkies, ring fingers). This is a textured polish. I never really understood the appeal, but I do have a few textured polishes, and I think they work well in mixed manis.

I painted my thumbs, index and middle fingers with Ciaté Cabaret (2 coats). This is a nice purplish polish. I do like the colour.

The glitter top coat I used is Ciaté Party Shoes. It has a remarkably dull finish and it would have required an extra coat of clear polish on top. Yikes!

All in all, this would have been a decent mani if it hadn’t been for the awful top coat. I would have applied a coat of clear polish, but it literally too late – I had to go to bed! 🤷‍♀️

Nail Of The Day – Ciaté Roll Up Roll Up & Stamping With MoYou London Sailor 07

Hi there! Today’s short post is about a mani I did not too long ago.

For this mani I painted my nails with Ciaté Roll Up Roll Up (2 coats). This is a forest green shade which was part of one of Ciaté’s Mini Mani Month Christmas calendars. It’s a nice, christmassey green. Too bad that I didn’t see it sooner.

For the images I used my MoYou London Sailor 07 stamping plate and my MoYou Nails White Stamping Nail Polish.

I liked this mani a lot. I haven’t stamped with white in a long time, but I should do this more!

Nail Of The Day – Primark Holler & Glow Pink Unicorn, Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin, Ciaté Putting On The Ritz & Stamping With MoYou London Suki 16

Hi there! Happy Monday! I have a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

For this mani I painted my nails with Primark Holler & Glow Pink Unicorn (pinkies, ring fingers, 2 coats). This polish is described as a long wear polish. And guess what, it is! I “use” my nails a lot, and I only had very minor tip wear after 3 days. Truly impressive stuff!

I used Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin (2 coats) on my middle and index fingers and my thumbs. This is supposed to be a long-lasting polish too, but I had to fill in the tips every day.

For the images I used MoYou London‘s Suki 16 plate and (since it was right there) Rimmel Lasting Finish Pro 430 Black Satin.

The gold glitter topper I used is the gorgeous Ciaté Putting On The Ritz which has been sititing in my stash for ages. Yes, I regret not trying it sooner!

I liked this mani. Since I had zero inspiration, it was supposed to be a “filler mani”, but it turned out much better than expected.

What nail polish are you wearing at the moment? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Christmas Nail Ideas / Ciaté Play Date & MakeUp Gallery 39 Rainbow Sparkle

Hi there! This week’s going to be nail week. I’ve done lots of christmassey manis, and I’d like to share all of them with you!

For this mani I painted my nails with Ciaté Play Date. I never liked this polish because it’s something between an unattractive pink and an ugly red.

However, this polish is also a low quality polish. It’s not well pigmented, and I had to apply 4 coats for a semi-acceptable finish.

Then I applied 1 coat of MakeUp Gallery’s 39 Rainbow Sparkle. This cute and christmassey top coat from Poundland contains gold micro glitter, gold and green hex glitter, and green and red bar glitter.

Whilst I didn’t love this mani, quite a few of my co-workers told me they loved my nails. I can only guess they liked this mani because of its simplicity. I’m not complaining! 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Revlon Top Speed 220 Bubble & Ciaté Confetti

Hi there! Today’s Nail Of The Day post is about a mani I did a little while ago. 🙂

For this mani I painted my nails with Revlon Top Speed 220 Bubble (2 coats). I love this colour. It’s full of live. It’s gorgeous.

In order to complete the ‘Barbie’ manicure I applied 1 coat of Ciaté’s Confetti. This top coat is packed with small silver holo glitter. It looked mesmerising in real life.

I wish I had managed to capture the amazingness of the silver holo glitter…

How do you like this mani? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – Blue Gradient Nails Feat. Ciaté, Rimmel & NYC / A-Z Nail Art Challenge B-Blue

Hi there! It’s Nail Week and, obviously, I’ve got a Nail Of The Day post for you today.

I did a pink-to-red gradient mani a couple of months ago, so I thought I might as well try a blue gradient mani. 🙂

I used the following nail products:
Rimmel I ♥ Lasting Finish 704 Sweet As Sugar (pinkies),
Rimmel 60 Seconds 503 Mind The Gap Victoria (ring fingers),
NYC In A Minute 296 Water Street Blue (middle fingers),
Rimmel Lycra Pro 425 My Denim (index fingers and thumbs),
Ciaté Party Shoes (glitter topper).

I really liked the mani. The colours I chose weren’t perfect, but I was still happy with this mani. Do you agree? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂
