Derma V10 Vanilla Body Butter

Hi there! Today’s short post is about this Derma V10 Vanilla Body Butter which I picked up for 80p at Poundstretcher. I’m generally a fan of cocoa, vanilla and shea butter scented moisturisers, so I just had to give this one a try.

I tried the body butter for the first time today – and it’s nice! The vanilla scent reminds me of cookie batter – it’s sweet, warm and delicious. The scent doesn’t last very long, but that’s fine since I wear fragrance anyway.

Based on my experience, I would recommend this product. Derma V10 Vanilla Body Butter is available as 220ml in bargain stores.

Derma V10 No Drama Llama Printed Sheet Mask

Hi there! This week will be Face Mask Week. And the first post is about this Derma V10 No Drama Llama Printed Sheet Mask which I found at my local Poundland store. This face mask promises soft, smooth and more radiant looking skin. All you have to do is cleanse your face, put on the mask, leave it on for 15-20 minutes, then take it off and massage the essence into the skin.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I think it was OK. I found the mask to be hydrating, but I didn’t care for the coconut scent. I only realised it had the word coconut printed on it after I bought it. The mask was on the stickier side, but the mask looked incredibly cute on – the eyelashes, the rosey cheeks and the nose looked simply fabulous! My husband couldn’t get enough of me wearing this llama sheet mask!

I wouldn’t buy this mask again, but if you want a cute single-use face mask, and if don’t mind the scent of coconut in face masks, you should give this one a try! Derma V10 No Drama Llama Printed Sheet Mask is £1 only (Poundland).

Derma V10 Pink Cactus Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face mask I picked up at my local Poundland store – Derma V10 Pink Cactus Sheet Mask. This is a bio-degradable sheet mask with prickly pear extract and pro-vitamin B5, and it promises to nourish skin and to reduce the appearance of fine lines.

This is a leave-on sheet mask. Cleanse you skin, place the mask on your face, leave it on for 20 minutes, then massage the remaining essence into your skin and follow with your normal skin care.

I’ve given this mask a try, and I liked it a lot! It’s very nourishing (but not sticky), and it had a plumping effect on my skin. I also enjoyed the subtle cactus flower fragrance.

I will buy this mask again, and based on my experience, I would recommend it! Derma V10 Pink Cactus Sheet Mask is available as a single-use face mask for £1 (Poundland).

Derma V10 Flamingo Printed Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Derma V10 Flamingo Printed Sheet Mask. This face mask promises to leave skin soft, smooth and more radiant. You’re supposed to leave the mask on for 15-20 minutes, then massage the leftover essence from the sachet into your skin.

This face mask contains a number of botanical ingredients – bamboo lily extract, coconut extract, horse mint leaf extract, bourbon geranium extract, etc. I didn’t expect this from such a cheap mask (£1, Poundland).

I’ve now given this mask a try, and I think it’s OK. Yes, it feels hydrating, but it also leaves the skin feeling a bit sticky. I also think I’ve had this mask before (sold under the brand name Skin Treats). The feel of the mask and the annoying coconut fragrance gave it away.

If you don’t hate coconut scents, and if you don’t mind sticky face masks, you might want to give this mask a try. Derma V10 Flamingo Printed Sheet Mask is available as a single-use face mask for about £1 at bargain stores.

Derma V10 Cocoa Body Butter

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing Derma V10‘s Cocoa Body Butter. I’ve previously tried one of Derma V10’s body butters, and I’ve been happy with it. So I thought I should try more products from this brand. And as a big fan of all things chocolatey, buying their cocoa body butter was an easy choice. 🙂

How’s the product? I’m very happy with it! This body butter hydrates my skin well without making it feel sticky. And the fragrance is extremely nice. It reminds me of cocoa powder for hot chocolate (similar to Nesquik’s). It’s yummy!

Derma V10‘s Cocoa Body Butter is available as 220ml for £1 at the usual bargain stores. I’m sure that I’ll finish this body butter in no time! And I have no doubt that I’ll buy it again!

Empties – November 2018

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I emptied in November. First of all, I used a number of single-use face masks. Whilst I don’t keep the empty sachets, you can read about my latest face mask finds if you click here. Now, let’s have a closer look at the big bottles and tubes!

1 Balance Active Formula Dragon’s Blood Eye Lift Balm – this eye cream hydrates skin nicely, but that’s about it. I don’t think I’ll buy it again.

2 Positively Fruity Smells Like Wild Cherries Body Lotion – this is a shared empty. My husband and I used most of this body lotion as a foot lotion. I wouldn’t repurchase this product.

3 Boots Garden Collection Rose Body Lotion (travel size) – this is a decent body lotion. I have one more tube!

4 Derma V10 Mango Body Butter – this is a nice body butter. I might buy it again.

5 Superdrug Hand & Nail Cream – this is another shared empty. My husband and I used this hand cream as a foot cream. I wouldn’t repurchase this product.

6 Possibility Amber & Lavender Bath and Shower Body Scrub – this is a great product. I’d love to buy it again, but this lovely fragrance is no longer availble. 😦

7 Daily Defense Pomegranate And Vitamin E Moisturizing Conditioner – another awesome hair product from Daily Defense. I’ll repurchase it, no doubt! If you’re wondering what happened to the matching shampoo… I like to use matching hair products, and whenever I finish a conditioner, I pass the leftover shampoo on to my husband.

8 Imperial Leather Invigorating Mango & Papaya Shower Cream – this is a great shower cream, and I’ll repurchase it soon. My husband used it too, so this is another shared empty!

9 Sanctuary Spa Kyphi Nourishing Body Butter – this is one of the best body butters I’ve ever had. Unfortunately, it’s been discontinued. 😦

10 MUA Blusher Shade 2 – I liked this blush. Good pigmentation, east to blend, lovely shade. I wouldn’t buy it again, but that’s only because I have way too many blushes…

11 Superdrug B. Confident Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz – one of my holy grail products!

12 Garnier Pure Active Anti-Imperfection Cleansing Gel – this is a very effective face wash. This is another shared empty (my husband enjoyed this face wash very much). If you’re looking for a simple product that gives your skin a proper deep cleanse, look no further! I can see myself buying this face wash again.

13 Superdrug Naturally Radiant Brightening Hot Cloth Cleanser – this is a nice and effective cleansing cream. I’ve been happy with it, but I won’t buy it again any time soon because I have a few similar products in my stash, and I need to get on top of those cleansers first.

14 Boots The Garden Collection Lavender Body Lotion (travel size) – I think this is a great little body lotion. I have a back-up!

15 Boots The Garden Collection Lavender Body Wash (travel size) – this shower gel was really lovely. I have one more bottle!

16 Baylis & Harding Mango & Mandarin Fragrance Mist – I enjoyed this body mist while it lasted, but it wasn’t special enough for me to buy it again.

I’m happy with what I finished in November. I said goodbye to a blush, I emptied a few travel-sized products, and I managed to finish several skin care products. Not bad, eh? 🙂 What have you finished last month? Feel free to comment. And thanks for stopping by!

Derma V10 Mango Body Butter

Hi there! Today’s post is about Derma V10‘s Mango Body Butter. Derma V10 is a brand that you can find at stores like Poundland, Home Bargains, etc. They do skin care products for the face and body, as well as hair colourants. I hadn’t tried any of their products until I picked up their mango body butter, so here’s what I think…

I’ve been using this body butter for a few days now, and I think it’s alright. It hydrates my skin reasonably well, and it doesn’t feel too sticky. It’s not the most suitable moisturiser for the hottest summer days, but most body butters are like this. I do like the mango fragrance because it’s very natural. The Body Shop should take note!

All in all, Derma V10‘s Mango Body Butter is a decent body butter. It’s not best one out there, but if you consider that the 220ml tub is £1 only, there’s no reason to complain at all. If you’re on a budget, you should definitely give this one a try!
