Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Cleanup AHA Fruit Toner

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Cleanup AHA Fruit Toner. As you can tell by its name, this product promises to give skin the ultimate deep cleanse. I’ve been using this product for a few weeks now, and here’s what I think.

I’m using this toner right after I come out of the shower in the morning. I use it 3 days on, 1 day off. Why this? Because it’s insanely powerful. This toner sucks the grease and grime right out of my pores – and I’m not kidding! It’s also the best skin brightening product I’ve ever used. It’s absolute madness – in the best possible way!

I also love the packaging of the product. The bacteria look cute, but they also look like they know that their days are numbered. So, I’d say the packaging reflects the power of the product it houses!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this product to everyone. Just be careful – this is powerful stuff, and please check the ingredients to make sure there’s nothing you’re allergic to.

I paid £9.99 (TK Maxx) for this Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Cleanup AHA Fruit Toner.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Aqua Rising Argan Gelato Steam Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Elizavecca Milky Piggy Aqua Rising Argan Gelato Steam Cream which I’ve been using for a few weeks now. This product contains a number of great ingredients, such as hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and a number of botanical extracts. Sounds good!

This face cream has a lovely and subtle floral fragrance. Its texture feels waxy – but it changes to thick-yet-watery as soon as it’s applied to the skin. I cannot really describe the change of texture any better, but it feels like the wax is turning to water on your skin. At the same time it still feels rich and deeply nourishing. This is definitely unique!

I’m also very happy with the level of hydration my skin is getting from this face cream. My skin looks nice and plump, and whilst the look and sound of the cream made me a bit cautious (if your skin has ever reacted badly to a product, you know what I mean), I’m happy to report that the face cream is super gentle on my skin. This is one of my favourite products this month for sure!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this face cream to everyone with normal to dry skin. However, always check the ingredients to make sure a product is suitable for you, and if in doubt, please do a patch test!

And about Elizavecca products – when you buy those, please be careful. There are lots of fakes out there – some more obvious than others. Please only buy from reputable sellers. If the product isn’t sealed or the spelling is funny (i.e cosmetiocs), get a refund and always report the seller as it’s quite possible that they sit on a large quantity of counterfeit stock which they will continue to sell.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Aqua Rising Argan Gelato Steam Cream is available as 100g. I paid £9.99 at TK Maxx.

Empties – January 2018

Hi there! It’s the 1st of February, so it’s time for my January 2018 Empties post. So let me show you which products I finished. 🙂

1 Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream – I enjoyed using this eye cream, and I would recommend it to everyone who’s looking for an eye cream that hydrates well and that plays well with make-up. I won’t buy this eye cream again – I just have too many eye creams in my stash!

2 Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter Body Wash – this is a lovely body wash. I’ll buy it again, no doubt!

3 Zatik Beauty Essentials Passionfruit Cacao Organic Lotion Moisture Recovery – I didn’t love this product because it’s not the most suitable product for my skin type. I wouldn’t repurchase this particular product, but I’d like to try other products from this brand.

Olay Anti-Wrinkle 2 in 1 Instant Hydration + Radiant Glow – a lovely moisturiser! I have 1 or 2 back-up bottles, so I don’t need to stock up any time soon.

5 Palmolive Aroma Moments Feel Glamorous – I loved this shower scrub – and so did my husband. So this one is a shared empty. I’ll repurchase this product again, no doubt!

B. Confident Hyaluronic Acid Facial Spritz – this is one of my holy grail products. It changed my life. I don’t want to be without it. Yes, I have several back-up bottles!

7 Claire’s Meringue Flavoured Lip Balm – this was a nice lip balm. I’ve got more Claire’s lip balms that I can’t wait to try!

8 Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care Leave-On Moisture Mask – this stuff is awesome. I will repurchase it soon!

9 Olay Hydration Balancing + Purifying Cleansing 2 In 1 Refreshing Face Wash – a lovely face wash. Happy yo buy it again!

10 L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Conditioner – one of the best conditioners L’Oréal ever made. It appears that, unfortunately, the Full Restore 5 Extreme collection has been discontinued. 😦

11 Imperial Leather Funfair Nostalgia – this is a lovely shower cream. I’ve already repurchased it.

12 Yves Rocher Les Plaisirs Nature Organic Vanilla Eau De Toilette – this is a wonderful vanilla fragrance. If you liked the original The Body Shop vanilla fragrance, you’ll love this one!

13 Sanctuary Spa Crème Soufflé – this moisturiser feels very luxurious. And I love the Sanctuary Spa fragrance! I’ll probably repurchase this product.

14 TRESemmé Renewal Hair & Scalp Nourish & Renew Deep Conditioning Masque – I think this is a good deep conditioner. I would repurchase it.

15 NSPA Pineapple Fragrance Body Mist – I enjoyed the product, but I don’t think that I’ll buy this body mist again because the big 200ml bottle takes ages to finish – and I have too many fragrances and body mists in my stash.

16 Rossmann Wellness & Beauty Mango & Ylang-Ylang Body Lotion – I bought this body lotion a very long time ago. I thought that, after such a long time, I shouldn’t use it as a body lotion, so I used it as a foot cream. Result = happy feet!

17 I Love… Chocolate Truffle Nourishing Body Butter – this body butter smells insanely delicious. This was a limited edition product, and I’m glad I bought several tubs!

18 Sanctuary Spa Intensive Heel Balm – this product is amazing. It really helps with cracked and dry heels! I would like to repurchase it, but the small tube is £7.50 which, I think, is quite expensive. So I’ll keep my eyes peeled for special offers!

19 Essence Black Eyeliner – my favourite cheap eyeliner. I have lots more in my stash. 🙂

20 Manhattan Only Button Baby Eye Palette – I’m incredibly proud of myself for finishing this eye palette!

21 Bourjois Sunset A Rio 47 Nail Polish – I got every last drop of polish out of this polish (thanks to stamping!), and I’m really proud of myself for finishing another colour polish!

I’ve also used quite a few single-use face masks – but I didn’t keep the sachets. If you’d like to read about my latest face mask finds, click here. This is everything I finished in January. I’m very happy that I managed to empty a few more skin care products and a small eye palette! What have you emptied recently? Any product you’re proud of finishing? Feel free to get in touch. And thanks for reading!

Elizavecca Gold CF Nest Collagen Jella Pack Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about Elizavecca’s Gold CF Nest Collagen Jella Pack. This face mask is a peel-off mask that promises to remove dead skin cells, provide hydration, brighten skin, and improve skin’s elasticity.

How does it work? You’re supposed to apply the mask, leave it on (and let it dry) for 30 minutes, then peel it off and enjoy (?) the results. I’ve used this mask several times now, and if you read on, I’ll tell you more. 🙂
elizavecca-collagen-jella-pack
I hate to say it, but this mask doesn’t deliver any noticeable results. It doesn’t make my skin look or feel better, it doesn’t brighten my skin, it doesn’t do anything for skin elasticity… this mask hasn’t done anything for me.

But let me mention 2 more things! First of all, you have to apply a thick layer of product, otherwise you won’t be able to peel it off. If you try not to be wasteful, it will backfire because if the mask is too thin, you’ll have to rub it off (!), and it’ll flake like something out of a horror movie.

The second thing I need to mention is that the mask isn’t hydrating at all. When you remove the mask, your skin will feel like it’s been slathered in lard. It’s not hydrating, it’s just disgusting.

If you’d like to try this mask, do it first thing in the morning because you’ll want to shower and wash your hair afterwards. Oh, in case you’re wondering… I paid £8 for this mask (not sure about the size – TK Maxx said it’s 80ml, but there’s no info at all on the packaging).

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Kangsi Pack

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing another face mask – Elizavecca Milky Piggy Kangsi Pack. I’m not entirely sure what this mask promises to do because the manufacturer doesn’t have any information in English. I have, however, found some information about this product online. And based on said information it appears that this mask is supposed to cleanse and to brighten skin. If you read on, I’ll let you know if this mask is any good.

First of all, let’s talk about the ‘what’ and ‘how’. When you squeeze the mask out of the tube, it’s a thick golden liquid. It’s pretty! The mask is easy to apply. Just apply it as if it were a clay mask. Then let it dry for 15 to 20 minutes, rinse it off, and continue with your regular skin care.

Alright! And what does the mask do? Well, the mask changes colour as it dries. It goes from gold to white in a matter of minutes. Once the mask is fully dry, it looks like a bone-dry clay mask that’s just waiting to be washed off! 😀 Oh, and the mask smells of peachy yoghurt and soap. That’s nice!

But what about the actual benefits? Well, I didn’t notice anything. I’ve used the mask 5 or 6 times now, and it doesn’t seem to do anything for my skin. I will continue to use this mask, and if I change my mind, I will report back. However, as of now I’d say that the best thing about this mask is its cool look.

I got my Elizavecca Milky Piggy Kangsi Pack from TK Maxx. I paid £8 for this 150ml tube.

Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about my (relatively) new Elizavecca Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream. I bought this eye cream in early December last year, and I started to use it about 6 weeks ago (after I lost 2 part-used Superdrug eye creams to my underwear drawer…).

Now, what does this Elizavecca eye cream claim to do? It promises to brighten skin and to help with wrinkles – well, that’s what I gather from Elizavecca’s web site. But I cannot be entirely sure because it appears they overdid it with google translate! 😀 Moving on… like I said, I’ve been using this eye cream for 6 weeks now, so let me tell you if it’s any good.
elizavecca-gold-cf-nest-eye-cream
This eye cream is probably the most nourishing eye cream I’ve ever had. It’s quite rich, but it plays very well with my make-up. I haven’t noticed any issues with make-up balling up or sliding off. However, I don’t think this eye cream has had any brightening effect, and I don’t think it would have an effect on wrinkles.

I would recommend this eye cream to anyone who’s looking for a hydrating eye cream that sits well under make-up. I paid £9.99 for a big 30ml tube (TK Maxx). So whilst this eye cream doesn’t work wonders, I think it’s good value nonetheless!

Have you tried Elizavecca’s Gold CF-Nest White Bomb Eye Cream or any other Elizavecca products? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for reading!
