Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime

Hi there! Today’s post is about these Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime which I found for half price at my local Tesco. You’re supposed to use 2-3 handfuls of these bath salts for a cleansing and revitalising bath.

I tried these bath salts recently, and I love them! I don’t drink alcohol, so I have no idea what pink gin is supposed to taste or smell like, but these bath salts have a strong and crisp pink lime fragrance which smells like summer. Delicious! These bath salts are a bit drying – not worse than a normal shower gel though, so I mix them with a good handful of Westlab’s Himalayan bath salts which are amazing for the skin.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these bath salts. Unfortunately, they’re a limited edition, but I’ll pick up another pack soon. If you’re interested, Westlab Pink Gin Epsom & Himalayan Bathing Salts With Juniperberry, Pomegranate & Lime are available as 1kg for £5.99. I paid £2.99.

Spa Premium Epsom Salts

Hi there! Today’s post is about these Spa Premium Epsom Salts which I’ve tried just last week. I’ve previously tried different bath salts from this brand, and I was happy with those. So when I overdid it with the exercise last week, it was the perfect opportunity to try these bath salts.

The instructions state that 250g of bath salts are sufficient for 1 bath. The pack contains 495g = enough for 2 baths. The recommended soak time is 15-20 minutes.

I took a 45-minute bath with these bath salts, and I think they’re very good. On the pack it says that these bath salts are great for post-workout recovery – and I agree!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these bath salts. If you’re interested, Spa Premium Epsom Salts are available as 495g for £1 (Poundstretcher). I will buy them again, no doubt!

Empties – April 2020

Hi there! Happy Friday! Today’s post is about all the products I finished in April. Read on if you’d like to know which products I said goodbye to.

1 Olay Anti-Wrinkle Firm & Lift Day Lotion – another amazing Olay product. I’ve already repurchased it!

2 Olay Essentials Refreshing Face Wash – one of the best pure and gentle face washes out there. I have a backup!

3 Superdrug Naturally Radiant Glycolic Tonic – this is an amazing toner. It’s brightening and exfoliating, and my skin tolerates it perfectly well. I’ve already repurchased this one.

4 The Sanctuary Spa Body Lotion (travel size) – I love this stuff! I have lots of Sanctuary Spa products in my stash.
5 Nivea MicellAIR Skin Breathe 2 In 1 Rose Water Cleanser & Toner – this is a terrible cleanser. Good riddance!

6 Kirstie Allsopp Nerolina Orange Blossom Shower Gel – this is a nice shower gel. It has been discontinued, otherwise I’d buy it again!

7 Palmolive Pampering Clay Body Wash – this shower gel is lovely, and I will buy it again!

8 Spa Premium Epsom Salts And Eukalyptus – these bath salts were great, and I’ll buy them again next time I’m at Poundstretcher.

9 Calcot Manor The Lazy Evening Moisture Soufflé – this is a nice body butter, and I’d like to buy it again!

10 Beautifully Scrumptious Cocoa & Vanilla Body Butter Fusion – my husband and I used this body butter as a foot butter because we didn’t like its “fragrance”. So glad this one’s gone!

11 Alberto Balsam Zesty Orange Conditioner – I enjoyed this one very much, and I will buy it (and the matching shampoo) again.

12 Carex Sensitive Bath Soak – I won’t repurchase this one. I didn’t care for the fragrance, and I found the formula to be drying.

13 Palmolive Purifying Clay Body Wash – this is a lovely shower scrub that I’ll buy again.

I’ve also used quite a few single-use face masks. If you’d like to read about my latest face mask finds, click here. All in all, I’m happy with what I emptied. And I know May is going to be a good month too because I have a few near-empties which I will focus on.

Have you tried any of these products or would you like to try any of them? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by today! 😘

Spa Premium Epsom Salts And Eucalyptus

Hi there! Today’s post is about these Spa Premium Epsom Salts And Eucalyptus. I’ve always loved bubble baths, but my buddy Anne Brooke got me into buying bath salts. And now… for the first time in eons… I finally managed to take a bath with bath salts!

Alrighty, these bath salts promise to help the body (and skin too, I guess) relax after a long day. The instructions state that half the pack is sufficient for a bath, and a quarter of the pack is the right amount of bath salts for a foot bath. The recommended soak time is 15-20 minutes. OK!

15-20 minutes for a bath isn’t enough for me. I’m someone who bathes for 40+ minutes. Anyhoo… I’m happy to report that these bath salts were enjoyable, and they’ve temporarily helped with my back and shoulder pain. This was great! I couldn’t smell any eucalyptus, but I don’t mind this at all.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these bath salts! Spa Premium Epsom Salts And Eucalyptus are available as 495g for £1 at Poundstretcher!
