100% Vegan & Cruelty-Free – Superdrug Naturally Radiant Moisturising Facial Oil

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Superdrug Naturally Radiant Moisturising Facial Oil with kiwi fruit and mulberry extracts. This facial oil promises to moisturise, brighten, renew and soften the skin.

The instructions state that you should massage 1-2 drops of facial oil into your skin (after cleansing). For a more intensive moisture boost, you should use the facial oil under your night cream.

I’ve been using this facial oil on and off for about 2 months now, and I’m enjoying it very much. I love how it feels on my skin and that it plays well with my other skin care products and with my foundation. And I love how nourishing the facial oil is. At the moment it’s helping my skin heal after an unpleasant psoriasis flare-up.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this Superdrug Naturally Radiant Moisturising Facial Oill. It’s available as 30ml for £7.99. I paid £3.99 (half price offer at Superdrug). Also, this facial oil is certified cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo), and it’s suitable for vegans!

Primark did a fantastic job with this deeply hydrating sheet mask. 😍

Yves Rocher’s Collection Été fragrance was a very welcome surprise! 🥰

WINNER – Boots No. 7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil

Boots knocked it out of the park with this amazing facial oil. The product page on Boots’ website says “turn back the time” – and based on my experience, I think this product has true anti-ageing powers. I’m a fan!

Onto the honourable mentions! L’Oréal’s Fine Flowers face wash is really great, and I Love…’s Raspberry & Blackberry shower gel is fabulous.

I’ve also enjoyed Spa Premium’s Epsom Salts and Palmolive’s summery limited edition shower gels are firm summer favourites.

Boots No. 7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Boots No. 7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil which I’ve been using since June.

This facial oil with jojoba oil and retinyl palmitate is one of the core pieces of the No. 7 skin care collection.

It promises to give dry skin the boot and to reduce the visibility of fine lines and wrinkles. The product page on Boots’ website says “turn back the clock” and “say bye-bye to dry and dehydrated skin…” Well, OK then!

When I started to use this facial oil, I didn’t believe that it would live up to its promises. I didn’t like it for the first few days, and I didn’t think it was rich enough. However, I kept using it, and after about 10 days, I found that it that killed off the 2 eczema patches which I’ve had for a few months now.

I’ve tried other products, and some did help with the eczema. But this facial oil has really gone the extra mile for my skin. I’m glad I continued to use it even though I was sceptical at first.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this facial oil. It’s a non-greasy formula, so you might be thinking it’s not rich enough for dry skin. But it actually is rich and deeply hyrating. I will buy it again, no doubt!

Boots No. 7 Youthful Replenishing Facial Oil is available as 30ml for £23. Smaller 15ml bottles are usually available as part of seasonal gift sets.

Skin Assistant Collagen Morning Glow Serum

Hi there! I’ve got a new skin care review for you today, and it’s about this Skin Assistant Collagen Morning Glow Serum.

This product promises to help skin firming, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and to provide uplift throughout the day.

The instructions state that you should apply 1-2 pumps of serum to your face and neck twice a day.

I’ve been using this product on and off for about 2 months now, and I think it’s simply excellent.

But this isn’t a serum. This product is a rich and heavy blend of oils (safflower, cotton seed, almond, argan, olive, jojoba, avocado, etc) with collagen listed as the next to last ingredient (parfum’s the last one).

I’m using a few drops of this oil in conjunction with a face mist, and the result is deeply nourished skin that looks rosey and more even.

What I do is… I mist my face (5 sprays of Nourish’s face mist), then I apply a few drops of oil to my forehead and cheeks. Then I massage the mix into my skin (face and neck). The face mist helps break up the dense and rich oil, whilst it also provides extra moisture which the oil locks in. I leave the mix to absorb for a few minutes before I use my eye cream and my day cream with SPF.

Whilst this is a rich oil, it plays very well with my other skin care and my oil-based foundation. I’m very happy with this product, and I have no doubt that it’ll help my skin look its best this coming winter. Based on my experience, I’m satisfied that this oil does indeed reduce the appearance of fine lines, and I’d recommend this product to everyone with dry or very dry skin. Just check that you’re not allergic to any of the ingredients!

Skin Assistant Collagen Morning Glow Serum is available as 59ml. I paid £6 (TK Maxx).

Skin Care Chemist Macadamia Beauty Oil

Hi there! Today’s post is about Skin Care Chemist‘s Macadamia Beauty Oil. This facial oil is aimed at people with mature skin. It promises to help restore skin’s natural, radiant looking glow, to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and to lift, plump, smooth and soften the skin.

This facial oil contains vitamin E as well as a number of botanical ingredients, such as macadamia oil, sunflower seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, raspberry fruit extract, sage leaf extract, nettle extract, rosemary leaf extract, etc.

How’s the product? I’ve been using this oil for a few weeks now, and I’m blown away. I can’t believe I’ve waited so long to try a facial oil. I could kick myself! This oil is simply fantastic. It bursts with botanical ingredients, it feels amazing on my skin, it makes my skin feel sensationally soft, it takes care of dry patches, and it looks like it’s filling in my fine lines! I love this facial oil. It’s one of the most amazing products I’ve tried all year. 11 stars!

How do I use the oil? I’m using this oil instead of a serum. I let it sink in for 5-10 minutes, then I apply my eye cream and my day cream. I know some people like to use a facial oil only, others use their facial oil after their serum and instead of a moisturiser. But there are no rules, really. And using this facial oil instead of a serum works best for me. 🙂

Skin Care Chemist‘s Macadamia Beauty Oil is available as 30ml. I paid £3. What an amazing bargain!
