Nail Of The Day – Sinful Colors Silhouette & Stamping With Flowers 01

Hi there! A few months ago I picked up a couple of Sinful Colors nail polishes. I wanted to swatch all the polishes right away, but I didn’t!

But now I finally managed to try the cute lavender shade!

So… for this mani I painted my nails with Sinful Colors Silhouette (2 coats). I really like this polish. It dries quickly, and it’s opaque in 2 easy coats.

The purple polish I stamped with is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 370 Uptempo Plum.

The stamping plate I used is called Flowers 01. It’s one of those unbranded cheap plates that I bought online (ages ago).

I think this mani turned out alright. It’s not the most inspired mani, but I do like it!

Nail Of The Day – Fearne Minty Maggie And Stamping With Pueen Love Elements 26 & 33

NOTDHi there! A few days ago I let my husband pick my nail colour again. He opted for a pale mint green (not my favourite colour), Fearne Minty Maggie.

Minty Maggie is a decent polish that’s almost opaque in one coat – which is unusual for such a light shade. And the polish dried reasonably quickly too. Nice!

Since I’m not the biggest fan of pastel nail colours, it didn’t take me long to decide that I would stamp. And I chose random images from Pueen’s 26 and 33 plates (both plates are part of Pueen’s Love Elements collection).

The black polish I stamped with is Revlon Colorstay 270 Stiletto, my favourite black non-stamping polish that stamps perfectly.

I’m happy with this mani. I know my nails are quite short and my hands look quite rough at the moment. That’s because they really suffered during the big post-summer clean and clear-out we had last weekend. But they’ll be OK in a few days. 🙂

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 220 Lagoon Lace, Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 30 Man-Go Team & Stamping With Flowers 01

Sally Hansen Man-go TeamHi there! Today’s post is another nail of the day post.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 220 Lagoon Lace (two coats). I really like this green shade. It’s so fresh!

Then I picked up my Flowers 01 stamping plate (one of my biggest and cheapest stamping plates), I selected a few random floral images, and then I stamped away.

The yellow(ish) polish I used to stamp on the images is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri 30 Man-go Team!

Whilst Man-go Team! isn’t a ‘real’ stamping polish, it stamps nicely (like the majority of the Insta-Dri polishes). £1 well spent on this polish! 🙂

I’m happy with how the mani turned out. Sure, if you look closely, it’s not perfect. But in real life no one gets this close to my nails, and from one foot away it actually looks flawless. 😉

What do you think of this green and yellow combo? Feel free to let me know your thoughts. And thanks for stopping by!

Nail Of The Day – NYC In A Minute 027 Love Match & Stamping With Manhattan Quick Dry 60 Seconds 46K & Flowers 18 Plate

NYC Love Match Flowers 18Hi there! Today’s post is another nail post. I’ve previously mentioned that orangey colours are my least favourite nail polish colours.

However, I have lots of orange and coral nail polishes, and for some reason I keep buying them.

For this mani I painted my nails with NYC In A Minute 027 Love Match – a bright summer orange that’s fully opaque in two thin coats.

The stamping plate I chose is called Flowers 18. It’s a cheap no-name plate I found online.

I liked the green/green, blue/blue and mauve/pink manis I did recently, so I thought I’d try orange/red this time.

I chose an old untried polish, Manhattan Quick Dry 60 Seconds 46K, as my stamping polish. 46K isn’t a glamorous name, but the polish looks nice – it’s a creamy vampy red that also stamps well.

I think this mani turned out OK. The images don’t look that great on my nails, and the colour combo isn’t a favourite. But the mani looked really nice from a few feet away. 🙂 Please feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 242 Aqua Leaf & Stamping With Rimmel Salon Pro 544 Bewitch & Flowers 02 Plate

Astor Aqua Leaf StampingHi there! This is a mani from a few weeks ago. In mid-July the UK enjoyed a few really hot summer days – and I wanted a ‘cool’ mani.

I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 242 Aqua Leaf (two coats). I love this fresh and cute shade.

I didn’t want my mani to be too flashy – so I went for a simple green on green look.

I chose Rimmel Salon Pro 544 Bewitch as my stamping colour. It’s dark green in the bottle, but it goes on as a pretty medium greeen when it’s stamped on.

And I used my Flowers 02 stamping plate. I have no idea who makes this plate, but many online stores sell it.

I really love how this mani turned out. It looked cool and fresh and it had a strong holiday vibe. 🙂 Do you agree? Feel free to let me know what you think. And thanks for reading!

Nail Of The Day – Orly Basket Case & Stamping

062016 Orly Basket Base and StampingHi there! When I did the stamping tutorial last week, I didn’t just do one nail. I did a full mani. And since I’ve finally found the picture I took of my nails, I thought I’d do a post. 🙂

I painted my nails with Orly Basket Case – which is one of the most beautiful pink polishes I have. It’s bright, it has a cool undertone and it’s a fantastic summer colour.

I stamped several random images from several different stamping plates onto my nails. All those plates were unbranded ones.

The black polish I used to stamp with is NYC In A Minute 001 Evil which I’ve been stamping with a lot lately.

This post concludes ‘nail week’ – so next week I’ll go back to posting product reviews (with the weekly nail post thrown in). However, I hope you enjoyed ‘nail week’ – I certainly did.

As always, feel free to let me know what you think of this mani. Or comment if you’d just like to chat. 🙂
