Garnier Body Tonic Firming Hydrating Lotion

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Garnier Body Tonic Firming Hydrating Lotion for normal skin.

This body lotion contains phyto-caffeine and seaweed extract, and it promises skin that feels toned immediately, skin that looks smoother after 7 days, and skin that feels tighter after 4 weeks.

I’ve been using this body lotion for a few weeks now, and I like it a lot. I had it before, but that must have been 10 years ago.

Anyhoo, I like this body lotion because of it’s gel formula. It’s not sticky, and it’s absorbed quickly. Perfect for the warmest months of the year. In addition, the refreshing lemon fragrance is nice and pleasant.

I can’t comment on whether this body lotion does anything to improve my skin. But I would repurchase it for the fragrance and the formula alone!

Garnier Body Tonic Firming Hydrating Lotion is available as 400ml. Prices depend on where you shop – it’s £4.99 at Tesco, but I’ve also seen it for up to £6.99 elsewhere. I made use of a half price offer at Tesco!

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion with Mango Oil

Garnier Mango LotionHi there! Today’s post is about this Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion With Mango Oil.

This body lotion is aimed at people with dry skin, and it also contains L-Bifidus and zinc which are beneficial to the skin.

According to Garnier, this is a fast-absorbing body lotion. And even if you were to stop using it, your skin would still feel hydrated for up to 7 days (provided you’ve used it for at least 4 weeks prior).

I’ve been using this body lotion on and off since November, and I think it’s good but not great.

It feels good on the skin, no doubt. And I also find it reasonably hydrating, but I think this body lotion is more for people with normal skin than dry skin, and there are better body lotions for people with dry skin. The mango fragrance is nice enough, but nothing special.

I agree that this body lotion is fast-absorbing, and because of this I use it when I’m in a hurry in the morning. All in all, whilst this is a good body lotion, I don’t think I’ll buy it again. It hasn’t wowed me, and I found all the other body lotions which I tried from this collection (Shea Butter, Aloe Vera, Peach, Cocoa Butter) to be more convincing.

If you’re interested, Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Nourishing Lotion With Mango Oil is available as 250ml and 400ml. I bought the small 250ml for £1.49 at Home Bargains, and I saw the big 400ml for £2.62 (half price offer) at Boots last week.

Garnier Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat

Garnier Ultimate Blends Delicate Oats Body LotionHi there! Today’s post is about Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat.

This body lotion is aimed at people with dry and sensitive skin. According to Garnier, oat milk is known for its restoring properties, and the white almond milk in this product will leave skin feeling soft and comfortable.

I’ve only been using this body lotion for a few days now, but I think it’s great. I’m not a big fan of Garnier because quite a few of their products have left me underwhelmed, but this body lotion is one of their best products.

I agree that this body lotion feels lovely and that it makes my skin feel soft and comfy. I also enjoy the cute oat / almond / vanilla fragrance.

Based on my experience, I’d recommend this body lotion! I’m definitely going to stock up soon!

Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends Body Soothing Hydrating Lotion With Delicate Oat is available as 400ml for £5.99. I paid £2.95 (better than half price offer).

Garnier Body Repair Anti-Dryness Restoring Lotion For Extra Dry Skin

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing this Garnier Body Repair Anti-Dryness Restoring Lotion. This body lotion with maple sap is aimed at people with extra dry skin.

It promises nourishment extraordinaire as well as soothed and protected skin that’s free from discomfort, tightness and roughness.

I used this body lotion a lot in 2005 and 2006, but I somehow “forgot” about it when I jumped on the body butter bandwagon. But a little while ago I saw this body lotion on sale for £1.59, and I remembered that I used to like it a lot, so I picked it up.

I’ve been using this body butter on and off for 2 months now, and I think it’s just as amazing as it used to be back then.

The formula is a dream. It’s easy to apply this body lotion. It’s a true lotion, so it’s not sticky at all. However, it does feel like a soothing and protective layer on the skin. It’s lovely.

The fragrance is pleasant too. I can’t liken it to anything, but it’s one of those cosmetic scents which are perceived as nice all year round.

If you’re looking for a body lotion that nourishes skin deeply and pretty much immediately, you should give this one a try! Garnier Body Repair Anti-Dryness Restoring Lotion is available as 250ml and 400ml. I paid £1.59 (special offer) for the 250ml bottle.

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Smoothing Nourishing Lotion With Cocoa Butter

Hi there! Today’s post is about Garnier Intensive 7 Days Smoothing Nourishing Lotion with Cocoa Butter.

This body lotion is aimed at people with dry to rough skin, and it promises to reinforce the skin barrier, and to maintain long-lasting hydration.

The product also claims to improve skin texture and to brighten skin.

I’ve been using this body lotion on and off for a few weeks now, and here’s what I think. 🙂

The first thing I need to mention is the product’s fragrance – it smells like a mix of shea butter and cocoa butter. It smells heavenly!

And I agree with Garnier’s claim that the lotion is fast-absorbing. Awesome stuff!

But the most important thing is… the hydration! I don’t know if this body lotion has brightened my skin tone, but it made my skin feel super smooth and soft. I love it!

To sum it up, this body lotion is pretty awesome! I would definitely recommend it. Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Smoothing Nourishing Lotion With Shea Butter is available as 250ml and 400ml. The smaller bottle can be yours for as little as £1.49 if you keep your eyes peeled for special offers. 😉

Garnier Intensive 7 Days Ultra-Replenishing Lotion with Shea Butter

Garnier Shea Butter LotionHi there! Today’s post is about Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Ultra-Replenishing Lotion With Shea Butter.

This body lotion is aimed at people with very dry skin, and it promises hydration that can be felt for up to 7 days after you’ve stopped using the body lotion.

Sounds cool. So how’s the product?

Well, I think this body lotion is great. It’s very rich, so it can feel sticky on my skin. However, the sticky feeling doesn’t last very long, so I have no reason to complain.

I also think that this body lotion is very hydrating. It’s plain awesome for dry skin. It even works on elbows. Fantastic stuff!

And there’s one more thing… this body lotion smells wonderful. The shea butter fragrance is sweet and cuddly. I love it!

I would definitely recommend Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Ultra-Replenishing Lotion With Shea Butter. It’s available as 250ml and 400ml. The smaller bottle can be yours for £1.49 if you keep your eyes peeled for special offers. 🙂

Garnier Body Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel Cream With L-Bifidus & Peach

uploadHi there! I haven’t reviewed any body butters or lotions in a while – that’s because I’m currently trying to use up all those part-used products that have piled up.

But since I was so impressed by Garnier’s Aloe Vera Body Lotion, I was happy to pick up Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Soothing Gel Cream with L-Bifidus + Peach for dry and sensitive skin at my local Home Bargains store. 🙂

When I used this gel cream for the first time, I found it incredibly sticky – for about a minute. But once my skin had absorbed the moisturiser, it just felt great.

So whilst my skin felt smooth and supple, it didn’t feel like it was slathered in moisturiser just minutes ago. Brilliant!

I also think the soft peach fragrance is quite pleasant. It’s nothing special, but I think it’s the perfect fragrance to go with the gel cream theme.

It’s obvious that I’m happy with the product. So yes, I would definitely recommend it. 🙂 I will continue to use this moisturiser over the coming weeks and months, and I might even pick up another bottle. If you’re interested, you might want to swing by your local bargain store to check if they have it. Oh, and this product is a real bargain. I paid £1.49 for a 250ml bottle – amazing value!

The Battle Of The Aloe Vera Lotions: Garnier Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Body Lotion with Aloe Vera vs. Superdrug Soothing Aloe Vera Body Lotion

Hi there! It’s been a while since the last ‘which one is better’ post. However, I just realised that I bought these two body lotions with aloe vera very recently, so I thought I’d look into which one is better.

I’ve got Garnier’s Intensive 7 Days Hydrating Lotion with Aloe Vera and Superdrug’s Soothing Aloe Vera Body Lotion. And now The Battle Of The Aloe Vera Body Lotions is on! 🙂
Garnier Aloe Vera Lotion & Superdrug Aloe Vera Lotion
Garnier’s Aloe Vera Body Lotion for normal skin is a very good moisturiser. It smells subtle, fresh and green. The lotion is fast-absorbing and non-sticky. It makes my skin feel elastic and nicely hydrated.

After using this body lotion once a day for three days my skin felt like silk. I could even get away with not using any body moisturiser at all for the next two days – and my skin still felt and looked great. This body lotion is for normal skin but it made such a difference to my dry and sensitive skin. I’ll definitely buy it again! 10 stars!

Superdrug’s Aloe Vera Body Lotion is a moisturiser for all skin types. It smells absolutely gorgeous. The lotion is fast-absorbing and non-sticky – just like Garnier’s body lotion. However, Superdrug’s body lotion is rather light which, I think, makes it more suitable for summer than for winter.

My skin feels nicely hydrated when I use this body lotion every day. But I really have to use it every day to maintain this effect. In my opinion, Superdrug’s body lotion is decent. But it wouldn’t be my first choice to ‘treat’ dry and sensitive skin in winter.

Verdict: Garnier’s body lotion doesn’t smell as nice as Superdrug’s, and Superdrug’s body lotion gets extra points for being BUAV-approved and cruelty-free (it carries the Leaping Bunny logo). However, because of its skin transforming powers (!) Garnier is the clear winner of The Battle Of The Aloe Vera Body Lotions.

Garnier’s Aloe Vera body lotion is available as 250ml for about £3 to £3.65 and 400ml for £5 to £5.50 – depending on where you shop. I got my 250ml bottle for £1.49 which is definitely good value. If you look for a bargain, the 250 ml bottle is currently £1.50 at Wilko’s.

Superdrug’s Aloe Vera body lotion is available as 375ml for £1.49. I spent 99p for this product and there is usually some kind of deal (usually 1/3 off) at Superdrug.
