Empties – June 2018

Hi there! Today’s post is about all the products I emptied in June. I used a number of single use face masks, but I didn’t keep the empty sachets (I never do). If you’d like to read about my latest face mask finds, click here. Now, onto the big bottles and tubs! 🙂

1 Palmolive Be Sensual Shower Gel – this is a lovely shower gel that I’ll buy again. My husband used it too, so this one’s a shared empty.

2 Garnier Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver Conditioner – one of Garnier’s nicer conditioners. I’m in no rush to buy hair care products, but I would buy this conditioner (the matching and shampoo) again.

3 Radox Feel Rejuvenated Shower Cream – I love this shower gel! I need to pick up another bottle pronto!

4 Dr. Organic Organic Aloe Vera Body Wash (travel size) – this isn’t a great shower gel. I won’t purchase it again.

5 Grace Cole Fruit Works Watermelon & Pink Grapefruit Body Butter – it was nice enough while it lasted, but I won’t be buying this body butter again.

6 Max Factor Pan Stik 25 Fair – my holy grail foundation!

7 Sukin Purifying Facial Masque – this mask was nice while it lasted, but I won’t buy it again.

8 Dr. Organic Organic Manuka Honey Body Wash (travel size) – I’m glad this one’s gone. Bye!

9 Superdrug Vitamin E Skin Care All Over Body Cream With Dragonfruit – this is a wonderful moisturiser. It’s perfect for even the hottest summer days!

10 Color Club Nail Polish (no photo, sorry) – this is one of the polishes from Color Club’s Bridal collection. I used it as a base coat. I wouldn’t buy it again, but I have a few more similar shades. I’m sorry I have no photo of the empty bottle. I threw it out by accident…

This is everything I emptied in June. I’m disappointed I only managed to finish 10 products, but I’m confident I’ll do much better this month (because I know I’ll have 5 empties alone by the end of this week). Have you tried any of the products I said goodbye to in June? What have you emptied last month? Don’t be shy – get in touch via the comments! 🙂

Garnier Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver Shampoo & Conditioner With Mother Of Pearl & Cherry Blossom

Hi there! Today’s post is about Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver Shampoo and Conditioner with Mother Of Pearl & Cherry Blossom. These 2 products are aimed at people with dull and tired hair, and they promise to restore gloss and shine. I’ve been using these products on and off since the beginning of April, and here’s what I think.

The shampoo cleanses my hair and my scalp well, and the cherry blossom fragrance is really lovely. It’s my favourite Garnier hair care fragrance so far. 🙂

The conditioner is very good. It detangles my hair with ease, and it makes my hair feel super soft and silky. I can’t comment on whether it makes my hair extra shiny, but I’m really happy with the conditioner!

I would recommend these 2 hair care products to everyone who’s looking for a shampoo and conditioner combo that makes hair feel soft and silky. If you have long, curly / wavy or dry hair, you really should give these products a try. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed!

Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver Shampoo and Conditioner with Mother Of Pearl & Cherry Blossom are available as 400ml each for £2 each (Poundworld).

Haul – L’Oréal, Treacle Moon, Caolion, Imperial Leather, Garnier, Body-X & Superdrug!

Hi there! I haven’t done a haul post since the end of February, so let me show you what I bought since then! 🙂

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner – I panicked when I saw a number of L’Oréal products marked as Reduced To Clear.

Treacle Moon The Honeycomb Secret Bath And Shower Gel – this was on special for £2.

L’Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Caring Shampoo & Conditioner – guess what, these were Reduced To Clear too. What is going on?!

Treacle Moon That Vanilla Moment Bath & Shower Gel – I’ve had this before and I liked it a lot. My husband loved it, so this is actually more for him… this was on special for £2.

Superdrug’s Deep Action Deep Cleansing Charcoal Peel-Off face masks were on special – 2 for £1.48.

And there’s a new Superdrug collection = Calm Skin. I bought the Refreshing Facial Spritz and the Relaxing Overnight Mask. These were on a buy 1 get 2nd half price offer. So these 2 items were £4.47 in total.

I spotted these pretty looking Body-X shower gels at my local B&M Bargains store. Had a sniff. Liked them. Bought them. £1 each.

I also got myself a few more charcoal toothpastes. I bought 2 Superdrug charcoal toothpastes (£2.99 each, but buy 1 get 1 free) a few weeks ago. I really liked this toothpaste, so I bought 4 more (still BOGOF). I also picked up a cheap charcoal toothpaste (£1) at B&M Bargains.

I picked up Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver shampoo and conditioner (£2 each, Poundworld) and an Imperial Leather Foamy Banana bath cream (95p, Tesco).

I managed to get my hands on 2 large 100g Caolion O2 Spakling Purifying Face Soaps. These were on sale at Cult Beauty. £10.50 each instead of £15 each. I’ve already had the small 25g soap – this one lasted me for almost four months. So I know these two large soaps will last me for 2 years!

This is what I bought since the end of February. Some of these items are quite bulky which means that I have storage problems again… What was I thinking?
