Hi there! Today’s post is about Gliss Satin Relax Shampoo & Conditioner. I’ve already finished this hair care combo a few days ago (well, I finished the conditioner, and I have passed the leftover shampoo on to my husband). So let me tell you how I got on with Gliss’ Satin Relax products.
First of all, these two products are aimed at people with rebellious or frizzy hair. And they promise to tame hair, to prevent frizz even in humid conditions, and to make hair smoother and shinier. Sounds great! Now onto the review!
Gliss Satin Relax Shampoo is really nice. It’s clarifying, but it feels creamy and gentle. I’ve enjoyed using this shampoo. Gliss Satin Relax Conditioner isn’t perfect, but it does the job. The conditioner is quite thick, but it conditions and detangles my hair just fine.
And I think these products work! OK, my hair doesn’t really frizz, and I’m pretty sure that’s because I use conditioner after every wash. However, I’ve used other ‘taming’ hair products before, and all of them flattened my hair – whilst Gliss’ Satin Relax products kept my (frizz-free) hair in shape. I also think these products smell quite nice. The fragrance is similar to the Gliss Liquid Silk fragrance – albeit stronger and without that cute powdery cotton note.
I would recommend these Gliss Satin Relax products! If you want to try Gliss products, there are many bargain stores that stock them for 99p or £1 each. The shampoos are 250ml, the conditioners are 200ml.
Hi there! Today’s post is about Gliss Liquid Silk Shampoo & Conditioner. I really enjoy using these products every once in a while. Here’s why.
The shampoo is great. It makes my hair soft and silky without weighing it down. The fragrance is gorgeous. I would describe it as a mix of silk and cashmere. The new improved formula of the conditioner isn’t as good as the old one. Out of the bottle the conditioner is quite thick. But I always mix it with a splash of water to make it creamier and easier to use.
In summary, I’m really happy with Gliss’ Liquid Silk shampoo and conditioner. Not only do these products make my hair smell lovely. They also make my hair feel soft and silky. I would recommend these products. And I will definitely buy them again.
Gliss Gliss Liquid Silk Shampoo (250ml) & Conditioner (200ml) are available at discount stores for about £1 each. Great value!
If you are considering buying Gliss’ Ultimate Volume or Oil Nutritive products, have a look at my reviews to find out if they would be suitable for you. If you think that the fragrance of a hair care product is more important than anything else, I’m sure you’ll be pleased with all of Gliss’ offerings. Some of the products smell quite strong from the bottle, but don’t let that put you off. 🙂
Hi there! Today’s post is about Gliss’ Ultimate Volume Shampoo and Conditioner which I am currently using. I’ve had quite a few different Gliss products, and – with the exception of the Oil Nutritive products – they were all pretty decent.
I am very happy with Gliss’ Ultimate Volume Shampoo because it really does what it says on the bottle. Since the first wash my hair felt thicker and it’s got more volume. I also love that the shampoo is a clear gel. I know most people won’t care, but I’m really bored of creamy white shampoos.
Gliss’ Ultimate Volume Conditioner is quite good too. Whilst in the shower I don’t feel the softening properties I would expect from every conditioner. However, once dry, my hair feels soft and silky.
Both products smell fresh and clean of citruses, but the scent is very subtle – this is just what I want in summer! And I would be happy to buy these products again. Gliss Ultimate Volume Shampoo (250ml) and Conditioner (200ml) are available at discount stores for about £1 each.
Hi! Not too long ago I spotted Gliss Oil Nutritive shampoo and conditioner for “longer hair, prone to split ends” at the local 99p Store. I’ve had a couple of different Gliss hair products before so I thought I’d give these a try too.
But… I don’t like the Oil Nutritive products at all. I believe that the shampoo and the conditioner might work for people with short, straight and thin hair, but my hair is long, thick and curly, and I almost despaired. I’ll just sum it up in a few key sentences.
Pros: The shampoo is very gentle, and both the shampoo and the conditioner smell of juicy mango. Delicious!
Cons: The oils from these products are very present in my hair and this makes my hair feel greasy. A couple of hours after washing my hair I want to wash it again. Not good. I also feel that these products rob my hair of its flexibility and elasticity. I don’t even want to touch my hair because I’m scared of damaging it. Again, not good.
The conditioner is not very effective – I’ve used up the 200 ml bottle in seven days. But it’s no surprise considering I had to condition my hair twice after each wash. Why? Well, the first round of conditioner did not do much in terms of softening my hair or getting rid of knots. This is certainly not consistent with the improved combability which the bottle promises. So I always had to use another handful of product to detangle my hair.
While I don’t believe this shampoo and conditioner combo would cause any long-term damage to my hair, I am not happy that I lost about twice as much hair as normal with each wash. Anyway, the conditioner is now used up. The shampoo (the bottle is still 75% full) will find a new role somewhere around the house – since it smells so nice, maybe I can use it to wash my scarves for the next couple of months…
