Hair Repair Colour Shield Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about one of the two hair care combos that I’m using at the moment – Hair Repair Colour Shield Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner. These products promise to nourish and protect coloured hair. Are they any good?

I think Hair Repair Colour Shield Nourishing Shampoo is really good. It’s a creamy white shampoo. It’s clarifying, but it doesn’t feel harsh at all. The fragrance is very random, but all in all, this is a really good shampoo!

I’m equally happy with Hair Repair Colour Shield Nourishing Conditioner because it detangles my hair with ease. I’ve also noticed that it seems to give my hair a little extra volume which is always welcome! The fragrance is not very special, but I don’t mind this at all.

On the back of the bottles, it also says that these products are vegan and that they were not tested on animals. Good stuff! I would recommend these 2 hair products! Hair Repair Colour Shield Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 300ml each for £1 each (Poundland).

Empties – April 2019

Hi there! It’s 1 May, and this means that it’s time for my April Empties post. I used quite a few single-use face masks, but I also finished quite a few big bottles! And here they are…

1 Olay Essentials Complete Care Day Fluid – this is a truly wonderful moisturiser that I would recommend without hesitation.

2 Boots Garden Collection Lavender Body Wash (travel size) – a nice body wash that I would like to buy again.

3 Boots Garden Collection Lavender Body Lotion (travel size) – this is a lovely body lotion. I’d love to repurchase this one too!

4 Dove Go Fresh Nectatine & White Ginger Shower – this is an all-time favourite shower gel. It’s discontinued, but I have 4 more bottles in my stash!

5 Classics Nail Polish Remover – my go-to nail polish remover. 400ml for £1 at Poundland and other bargain stores.

6 Garnier Body Repair Anti-Dryness Restoring Lotion – a lovely moisturiser that I will buy again for sure!

7 Sante Naturkosmetik Instantly Smoothing Night Cream – I’m glad this night cream is gone. It’s one of the worst moisturisers I’ve ever tried. Good riddance!

8 I Love… Chocolate Truffle Refreshing Body Spritzer – this is a lovely body spray that really smells of chocolate truffles! Too bad it was a limited edition, otherwise I’d buy it again!

9 Maybelline Eyeliner Chestnut – I have several more of these in my rota. These eyeliners are really nice.

10 Astor Lipliner Pencil 014 Bronze – I love these lipliners. I have quite a few more of these!

11 Max Factor Pan Stik 25 Fair – my holy grail foundation!

12 Boots No 7 Protect & Perfume Intense Advanced Serum – this is a fantastic serum, and I will repurchase it, no doubt!

13 Hair Repair Rejuvenating Conditioner – a surprisingly nice conditioner. Another product that I’d like to repurchase!

14 Imperial Leather Paradise Island Bath Cream – this stuff smells amazing. I think I have another bottle or 2 of these in my stash.

15 Original Source Orange Shower Gel – another nice shower gel that I can see myself picking up again.

This is everything I emptied in April. I think I’ve done well last month! I hope I can continue to empty many more bottles, tubes and tubs over the next few months!

Hair Repair Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Hair Repair Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner combo with Nourishing Oil. Hair Repair appears to be a true non-brand. However, a look at the back of the bottles reveals that these products are made by the same company (Mibelle Group) that makes Lee Stafford hair products as well as NSPA‘s face and body care products. On the back of the bottles it also states that these products are vegan and cruelty-free. Cool!

I’ve been using these hair products on and off since late March, and I think they’re really good. The shampoo is a clear liquid. It contains quite a few oils, but it feels cleansing and it doesn’t make my hair or scalp feel oily at any point. I like the beautiful floral fragrance a lot!

The conditioner is nice too. It’s thick in texture, but it’s easy to spread, and it detangles my hair nicely. It doesn’t smell as good as the shampoo (it doesn’t smell bad, it’s just not a spectacular fragrance), but it’s beautiful to look at. I love its shimmery golden colour. And I’m happy to report that this conditioner doesn’t make my hair or scalp feel oily at all.

Now here’s the best thing! These 2 products give my hair a lot of extra volume. I’ve used many volume shampoos and conditioners over the years, but these 2 products mop the floor with almost all of them. The only volume shampoo and conditioner combo that is slightly better is Alberto Balsam’s! So if you want to give your hair a little extra volume, you should give these products a try!

Hair Repair Rejuvenating Shampoo & Conditioner with Nourishing Oil are available as 300ml for £1 each (Poundland).
