Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about this Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream. This hand cream with micro droplets of Vaseline jelly™ and keratin promises 10 times stronger nails in 2 weeks! Sounds promising!

I’ve been using this hand cream 2-3 times per day for the past month, and I haven’t noticed any changes in my nails. Yes, I do wear nail polish (I wouldn’t care about having strong or stronger nails if I didn’t paint them). But I always leave a polish-free gap between the cuticles and where I start painting my nails. And I always make an effort to massage whatever hand cream I’m using into my cuticles and around my nails and fingertips. Unfortunately, this hand cream didn’t improve the strength of my nails at all.

I also don’t love the scent of this hand cream. It’s not bad, but it’s too pink, too floral and too strong for me. I would have preferred a lighter scent. Also, the formula is more like a runny lotion. I would have preferred a cream or a jelly-type of formula.

All in all, this is a decent hand moisturiser, and I have no reason to complain really. I only paid £1 (Poundland) for a big 200ml bottle which will last me for a while!

If you’re interested, Vaseline Intensive Care Healthy Hands Stronger Nails Non-Greasy Hand Cream is available as a 75ml tube and a 200ml bottle. Prices will vary greatly between £1 and about £5!

Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Hand Cream, Boots Live + Be Captivating Pause Hand Cream

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 hand creams I started to use just recently – Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Hand Cream and Boots Live + Be Captivating Pause Hand Cream. These are part of Boots’ vegan and cruelty-free Live + Be collection which, unfortunately has been discontinued. But stores still have random stock, and there are quite a few different products available online.

Alrighty, let’s move on to Boots Live + Be Beautiful Connection Hand Cream. This is a rich, almost buttery, and luxurious hand cream with a fresh rose scent – reminiscent of subtle rose fragrances like Stella or Chloé. I like the formula a lot. It’s great for dry hands!

Boots Live + Be Captivating Pause Hand Cream has the same beautiful formula – it’s nourishing and caring. Very nice! The fragrance is a bit random – it’s a sweet, powdery and slightly musky scent. This is a fragrance that, I think, teenagers would enjoy more. However, the formula is what’s important, and I’m happy to use this hand cream!

Based on my experience, I’d recommend these hand creams. I think I paid £1 per hand cream. These were from the reduced to clear shelf.

Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet & Pineapple Paradise Hand Creams

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 hand creams – Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet and Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise. These are usually around £4 – £5 each, but I found these at Poundland for £1 each, so I bought them.

Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet Hand Cream is a decent hand cream. It’s very nourishing, and I every time I use it, I can feel it on my hands for a while. It’s a heavy hand cream (in a good way), so better suited for night-time use. The mango scent is more like a mix of mango and orange, but it’s nice.

Patisserie De Bain Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream smells exactly like the palm trees from Haribo’s Tropifrutti mix. Wow! The scent was a lovely surprise, but I can see it getting old eventually. Having said this, I’m still enjoying this hand cream – because of the fun scent and also because it’s a nourishing hand cream.

Patisserie De Bain Mango Sorbet Hand Cream and Pineapple Paradise Hand Cream are available as 50ml each. The price will depend on where you shop! 😁

The Battle Of The Pink Hand Creams – Scrub In A Tub Good Old Hand Cream VS Soap & Glory Hand Food

Hi there! Today’s post is about 2 hand creams which I’ve been using on and off since last autumn – Scrub In A Tub Good Old Hand Cream and Soap & Glory Hand Food. This is a product comparison, so let’s see which one’s better…

Scrub In A Tub Good Old Hand Cream is one of the countless vintage-themed beauty products which seem to crop up every now and then. This one looks a bit like Soap & Glory meets Desperate Housewives. But what counts is what’s inside! I think this is a decent hand cream. It’s very rich, but this also means that it takes a bit to sink into the skin. I don’t care for the fragrance – it’s a strong, old-fashioned and random floral scent. I’m using this hand cream as a foot cream, and it works brilliantly.

Soap & Glory Hand Food is a decent hand cream too. It has the generic “pink” Soap & Glory scent. The non-greasy formula is nice, but whenever I use a lot of hand cream or whenever I use the hand cream rather frequently, it causes some product build-up which feels weird and makes me want to wash my hands immediately. It works perfectly on my feet though, so this is another hand cream that I’m using as a foot cream.

Scrub In A Tub Good Old Hand Cream is the winner of The Battle Of The Pink Hand Creams. It’s available as 100ml for £1 (Poundland). Soap & Glory Hand Food is available as 50ml for £3 and as 125ml for £4. The small 50ml tube that I’ve got was part of a half price gift set.

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush Hand Creams

Hi there! Today I’m reviewing 2 hand creams which I picked up for £1 each at my local Poundland – Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush! Let’s get straight to the review!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade smells of sweet raspberries. The fragrance is very authentic, and if you love raspberries, this one’s definitely worth a try! I’m also happy to report that this hand cream feels very hydrating – almost nourishing. This is a very nice hand cream!

Patisserie De Bain Orange Crush is just as moisturising, and I’m happy with the quality of the product. However, I don’t love the fragrance – it’s a cheap Orangina kind of fragrance. I think this one might become a foot cream!

Patisserie De Bain Raspberry Roulade & Orange Crush are available as 50ml each. I paid £1 each.

Vaseline Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac

Hi there! Today’s post is about a product I picked up for £1Vaseline‘s Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac. This hand cream promises to leave hands deeply moisturised and protected from germs. So it’s a 2 in 1 product. 🙂

I’ve been using this hand cream for a few days now, and I’m impressed. Whilst this hand cream is non-greasy, it moisturises my hands very well. I love the formula! It feels light, it makes my hands feel soft, and it’s not sticky at all, not even for a minute.

I’d also like to mention that this hand cream smells like pears – the fragrance is pleasant and very subtle!

I think this is a great hand cream! I can’t comment on whether it protects my hands from germs, but I’m happy with everything else!

Vaseline‘s Intensive Care Hand Cream + Anti-Bac is available as 75ml.

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Hand Cream

No7 Hand creamHi there! Today’s post is about Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Hand Cream.

Let me be honest, I don’t use hand creams very often. Most of the time I just use body lotion or body butter – whatever I can find. However, I’m glad that I tried this product.

Boots’ No 7 hand cream is quite a gem. It contains SPF 15 which helps protect my hands from the sun so I won’t be getting any more sun spots on my hands.

I really love the thick formula because it provides lots of moisture without being greasy. I’ve been using this hand cream once a day for just over a week now and I’m very happy with how soft my hands are.

I also think that my hands look younger. Unfortunately I didn’t take pictures last week so I can’t really compare, but I swear my hands look younger.

Boots No 7 Protect & Perfect Intense Day Hand Cream is quite expensive (£10.50 for a 75ml tube), but looking at the almost instant results, I think it’s definitely worth the money.

I would recommend this hand cream and I can certainly see myself buying it on a regular basis. Well done, Boots!
