Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask, Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask

Hi there! This week’s going to be face mask week, and the first post is about two super cute face masks – Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask and Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask.

These masks are supposed to be used on cleansed skin – simply leave them on for 15-20 minutes and massage the leftover essence from the sachet into your skin.

I’ve given these 2 masks a try, and I think they’re OK. Whilst I agree that the masks are hydrating, they’re a bit sticky, and they smell strongly of coconuts. I don’t like the taste or smell of coconuts, so I didn’t enjoy the masks as much as I would have liked to. Yes, this applies to both masks because they’re the exact same thing (apart from the design).

On a more positive note, the masks are super cute and fun to use. Personally, I preferred the koala mask. The eyelashes and the big nose were impossibly cute. The llama mask was great too, but I would have preferred it without the glasses.

I won’t repurchase these masks (because of their strong coconut fragrance), but if you’re interested, Skin Treats Koala Super Soothing Printed Sheet Mask and Skin Treats No Prob Llama Hydrating Sheet Mask are available as 20ml single-use sheet masks. I paid £1 each (B&M Bargains, Savers).

Oh K! White Peach & Cotton Candy Lip Balm Duo

Hi there! I’ve got a short lip care review for you today – and it’s about this Oh K! White Peach & Cotton Candy Lip Balm Duo which I picked up for £4.50 at Paperchase. Yes, Paperchase!

I love the cute design – it’s why I bought those lip balms in the first place! 😎 The 2 flavours are white peach (kitty) and cotton candy (teddy)

The white peach lip balm tastes faintly of peaches. It’s not bad, but it’s nothing to rave about. The cotton candy lip balm doesn’t really taste of cotton candy, but I do like the sweet flavour.

Whilst the flavours aren’t spectacular, I’m happy with the level of hydration these lip balms provide. I’ll continue to use them for sure!

Maxbrands Alpaca Face Sheet Mask

Hi there! Today’s post is about a face mask that I found at my local Home Bargains store – Maxbrands Alpaca Face Sheet Mask. This face mask contains cucumber extract, and it promises to help improve skin’s elasticity and to boost the skin.

This is a normal sheet mask – you place it onto your cleansed face, leave it on for 15 minutes, then bin the mask, and massage the leftover essence from the sachet into your face. Job done! Read on if you’d like to know if this mask is any good. 🙂

Whilst I’m still not sure what boosting the skin is supposed to mean, I’m satisfied that this mask feels deeply hydrating without being sticky. This mask also seems to plump up my skin – I guess this is what boosting the skin might refer to…

Having said this, I think this mask could smell nicer. Parfum is listed as the last ingredient on the list, so there can’t be much fragrance in it. However, some people prefer products with little or no added fragrance, so if this is what you like, this mask might be worth a try.

Maxbrands Alpaca Face Sheet Mask is available as 25ml. I paid 79p (Home Bargains).

Have you tried this mask or would you like to try it? Feel free to get in touch via the comments. And thanks for stopping by! 🙂
