L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about the hair care combo I’m using at the moment – L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner. These products are aimed at people with dehydrated hair. My hair isn’t dehydrated, and I wash my hair every morning, so I can’t comment on the “up to 72h moisture” claim. But I can comment on how these products work for me.

Let’s start with the shampoo! I think it’s really nice. It’s a creamy white shampoo, but the formula feels a bit lighter when I compare it with other L’Oréal shampoos. I think it cleanses my hair gently, and I also like the fresh and floral scent.

Onto to the conditioner which is just as lovely. I’m impressed with how quickly and easily this conditioner detangles my hair. It’s really good! I also like how soft and silky it makes my hair feel without weighing it down.

I’m very happy with these hair products. Based on my experience, I’d recommend them, and I will buy them again, no doubt. If you’re interested, L’Oréal Elvive Hydra Hyaluronic Moisture Boosting Shampoo & Moisture Locking Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £6. I paid £2.99 each (half price offer). I just checked the prices on Boots’ and Superdrug’s websites, and Boots is actually running a half price promotion, and Superdrug has a 2 for £6 deal (no idea when these offers expire though).

L’Oréal Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash

Hi there! I’ve got a skin care review for you today, and it’s about this L’Oréal Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash with rose and jasmine.

This soap-free face wash is aimed at people with dry & sensitve skin, and it promises to cleanse, purify and soften the skin.

I’ve been using this face wash for a few weeks now, and I think it’s very nice.

Whilst I don’t think that it made a huge difference to what my face looks or feels like, I think it’s great at cleansing my skin properly without aggravating it or drying it out.

Based on my experience, I would recommend this face wash. I can definitely see myself buying it again!

L’Oréal Fine Flowers Gel-Cream Wash with rose and jasmine is available as 150ml for £3.99. I paid £1.99 (special offer, Boots).

Nail Of The Day – L’Oréal Color Riche 210 Shocking Pink & NYC In A Minute 276 Big City Dazzle

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani I did a while ago. It might have been last summer – oops!

For this mani I painted my nails with L’Oréal Color Riche 210 Shocking Pink. I don’t like the colour pink (any shade of pink) in clothes or accessories, but I love bright pink shades like this one on my nails. 🥰

The glitter top coat I used is NYC In A Minute Big City Dazzle. This glitter looks amazing in real life – it’s in my all-time top 5 of glitters. You have no idea how annoyed I am that I couldn’t capture its magic in the photo. But there’s always next time, so fingers crossed!

Anyhoo… I liked this mani a lot. It was easy to do, and it looked bright and sparkly!

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about a hair care combo I’m using at the moment – L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner. These products promise to reinforce and to revitalise weak and damaged hair.

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo is a creamy white shampoo. It’s gentle, and I’m satisfied that it cleanses my hair properly. It has a pleasant fragrance (a typical L’Oréal fragrance), and I have no complaints really. I think this is a good shampoo.

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Conditioner detangles my hair reasonably well. In terms of detangling, I’ve had better conditioners but I think this one’s still nice. I’m not sure if it “reinforces” my hair, but I’m happy to report that it doesn’t flatten my hair.

All in all, I think L’Oréal did a good job with these products. They’re serving me well. If you’re interested, L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £4.99 each. I bought these for half price (special offer, Tesco).

Nail Of The Day – L’Oréal Color Riche 406 Burgundy Diva & Stamping With Pueen 59

Hi there! Here’s another Nail Of The Day post…

For this mani I painted my nails with L’Oréal Color Riche 406 Burgundy Diva (2 coats).

I like this polish a lot! The colour is a beautiful burgundy shade with micro shimmer. The polish goes on like a dream (great for beginners!) and it dries quickly. I love L’Oréal’s old Color Riche collection!

I used my Pueen 59 stamping plate (which is part of Pueen‘s awesome Stamping Buffet) collection.

And the flashy silver polish I stamped with is Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Presto Pewter.

Nail Of The Day – Astor Fashion Studio 004 Deliciously Violet & L’Oréal Color Riche Top Coat Tweed 917 Jackie Tweed (Nail Fail)

Hi there! Today’s post is about a mani that I did a few months ago. I thought the mani would look awesome – but it didn’t. So I only for it for a day.

For this mani I painted my nails with Astor Fashion Studio 004 Deliciously Violet (2 coats). I’d describe the shade as a violet-tinted grey. It’s not my favourite colour, but I bet it’s a great base colour for stamping.

Actually, I wanted to stamp (I should have done that!), but I also wanted to try L’Oréal’s Color Riche Top Coat Tweed 917 Jackie Tweed. I went for the fuzzy top coat – and it was the wrong choice.

Nail fails happen. Onto the next mani! 🙂

Haul – L’Oréal, Treacle Moon, Caolion, Imperial Leather, Garnier, Body-X & Superdrug!

Hi there! I haven’t done a haul post since the end of February, so let me show you what I bought since then! 🙂

L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner – I panicked when I saw a number of L’Oréal products marked as Reduced To Clear.

Treacle Moon The Honeycomb Secret Bath And Shower Gel – this was on special for £2.

L’Oréal Elvive Colour Protect Caring Shampoo & Conditioner – guess what, these were Reduced To Clear too. What is going on?!

Treacle Moon That Vanilla Moment Bath & Shower Gel – I’ve had this before and I liked it a lot. My husband loved it, so this is actually more for him… this was on special for £2.

Superdrug’s Deep Action Deep Cleansing Charcoal Peel-Off face masks were on special – 2 for £1.48.

And there’s a new Superdrug collection = Calm Skin. I bought the Refreshing Facial Spritz and the Relaxing Overnight Mask. These were on a buy 1 get 2nd half price offer. So these 2 items were £4.47 in total.

I spotted these pretty looking Body-X shower gels at my local B&M Bargains store. Had a sniff. Liked them. Bought them. £1 each.

I also got myself a few more charcoal toothpastes. I bought 2 Superdrug charcoal toothpastes (£2.99 each, but buy 1 get 1 free) a few weeks ago. I really liked this toothpaste, so I bought 4 more (still BOGOF). I also picked up a cheap charcoal toothpaste (£1) at B&M Bargains.

I picked up Garnier‘s Ultimate Blends The Gloss Reviver shampoo and conditioner (£2 each, Poundworld) and an Imperial Leather Foamy Banana bath cream (95p, Tesco).

I managed to get my hands on 2 large 100g Caolion O2 Spakling Purifying Face Soaps. These were on sale at Cult Beauty. £10.50 each instead of £15 each. I’ve already had the small 25g soap – this one lasted me for almost four months. So I know these two large soaps will last me for 2 years!

This is what I bought since the end of February. Some of these items are quite bulky which means that I have storage problems again… What was I thinking?

L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist 60 Seconds Saviour Intensive Conditioner

Hi there! Today’s post is about L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist 60 Seconds Saviour Intensive Conditioner.

This product, which contains arginine and is aimed at people with fragile hair, promises to reinforce hair fibres without weighing hair down.

As a result, L’Oréal promises intensely nourished, super soft and stronger hair.

I’ve used this deep conditioner for a few times now, and I think it’s great. It’s easy to use, it detangles my hair perfectly, it smells lovely, and it makes my hair feel sensationally soft. And despite all that, it doesn’t flatten my hair. Wow!

However, there’s one problem. It appears L’Oréal discontinued the entire Triple Resist collection. I’m surprised because I thought this was one of L’Oréal’s most popular collections.

If you’d like to try L’Oréal Elvive Triple Resist 60 Seconds Saviour Intensive Conditioner, you have to be quick. I got this one from Home Bargains (and it was 99p, I think).

L’Oréal Elvive Smooth & Polish Thermo Detangling Spray

Hi there! Today’s post is about one of the detanling sprays I picked up a few months ago – L’Oréal Elvive Smooth & Polish Thermo Detangling Spray.

I found this product at one of the local Poundstores. It was £1 only, so I thought I’d be stupid not to buy it.

Anyway, this leave-in product is aimed at people with unruly and fine to normal hair. It promises instant detangling and super smooth hair. Sounds great.

But is the product any good? Well, I didn’t like it, so I gave it away. Here’s why…

I don’t think this detangling spray is very effective. It didn’t help detangle my hair at all, so it doesn’t do what it says on the bottle!

I also don’t like the fragrance because it’s quite strong. It’s a synthetic “pink” fragrance that annoyed me instantly. I’m sure many women love the fragrance. I’m just not one of them.

And here’s the best (=worst) bit. This detangling spray seems to straighten hair. This is surely great if you already have straight hair. But if you have wavy to curly hair, this spray just ruins your hairdo.

So yeah, I didn’t like this detangling spray at all. I passed it on to a relative – she has straight hair, and she uses detangling sprays in general, so I hope she likes this product.

Reducing My Oldies Stash – L’Oréal Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner

Hi there! I’ve got a hair care post for you today! A little while ago I found L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner at my local Tesco.  I had never seen this hair care combo before, so I just bought it. And now I’ve finally gotten around to try these products, so let me tell you if they’re any good. 🙂

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo for very damaged and dry hair is very nice. It feels gentle, and I do believe that it has hair repairing powers. This shampoo feels great on my head, and it makes my hair feel super soft.

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Conditioner is just as nice. This conditioner is one of the best L’Oréal conditioners. It detangles my hair with ease, and I swear I can feel that this conditioner repairs my hair. It’s really good! Well done, L’Oréal!

L’Oréal’s Elvive Full Restore 5 Extreme Repairing Shampoo & Conditioner are available as 400ml each for about £4.50 each at Tesco’s (I’ve never seen them anywhere else). I bought these 2 hair care products on a BOGOF deal. 🙂
